게임에서 장비는 플레이어블 캐릭터라고 할 수 있는 파워아머가 6종, 주무기 14종, 보조무기 15종으로 구성되어 있으며 진급미션 등을 통해서 해금하고 골드와 G 크리스탈을 모아서 업그레이드 할 수 있습니다.
각 파워아머들은 고유의 액티브 스킬을 가지고 있고 또 +5, +10 업그레이드 시 패시브 스킬이 하나씩 열립니다.
진급 미션은 세가지 미션을 주고 세가지 모두 완료하면 한단계씩 진급하는 방식입니다. 일정 계급에 도달할때마다 위에서 말했던 장비들이 해금되고 후술할 칩을 장착 할 수 있는 용량도 늘릴 수 있습니다. 골드와 G 크리스탈을 사용하여 미션을 스킵하고 진급하는 것도 가능합니다.
앞서 언급했던 칩 시스템 입니다. 다양한 칩들을 적절히 장착하여 더 강해지거나 게임 플레이 편의성을 항상시킬수도 있습니다.
이 게임의 특징은 여타 뱀서라이크처럼 무조건 자동 공격하는 것이 아니라 사진에 보이는 것처럼 AI 화재 제어 칩을 통해 주무기를 자동 공격하게 설정 할 수 있고 이 칩을 장착하였더라도 필요에 따라 ON/OFF를 하거나 내가 원하는 방향으로 공격이 가능하다는 점입니다.
그리드랜드의 G 행성에는 세가지 지대가 있고 또 각 지대 안에 10개의 구역과 무한모드가 존재합니다. 그리고 각 구역에는 낮, 해질 무렵, 밤이라는 시간대와 선택 도전도 존재합니다. 밤에 가까워질수록 몬스터가 강해지거나 수가 많아지고 결산 보상이 늘어납니다. 선택 도전을 체크한 경우에도 마찬가지로 결산 보상이 늘어납니다.
게임 트레일러에 나와있지 않은 부분 위주로 글을 적어보았습니다. 그리드랜드는 다른 뱀서라이크과 비교했을 때 상대적으로 빌드업에 걸리는 시간이 길기 때문에 꾸준히 반복 플레이를 하면서 성장하는 것을 즐기는 분들께 추천드립니다.
