얼리엑세스라는 단어가 이렇게 원망스러운 것은 처음이다.
차라리 이 게임을 모든 것이 고쳐지고, 정식으로 발매가 되고 난 뒤에 플레이를 했다면 정말 좋은 평가를 줬을 것 같다. 그러나 이 게임은 너무 많은 부분에서 미완성이다.
완결이 되지 않은 게임이라도 그것을 포장함에 있어 공을 들인다면 플레이하는 사람들로 하여금 좋은 인상을 남길 수 있을 것이다. 하지만 이 게임은 그러한 부분에서 크게 미달된다. 그렇게 느낀 것에는 여러가지가 있지만, 가장 큰 요인들만 추려보자면 4가지 정도이다.
1. 플레이에 치명적인 버그
이 카드는 Fuse라는 튜토리얼에서도 등장하는 화력 계열 캐릭터의 희귀 등급 카드이다.
엑시즘 스캐너는 '다음 사용하는 공격카드'를 '1장' 복사해 뽑을 카드 더미 맨위에 생성하고 코스트를 -1시켜준다.
그런데 이런 엑시즘 스캐너를 2장 연석으로 사용한 뒤, 공격카드를 사용하면 어떤 일이 벌어지는지 아는가?
공격카드가 코스트 -1이 된 상태로 '무한'으로 '드로우'된다.
예를 들어 이 카드를 2장 사용한 이후, 1코스트 일반 등급 카드인 수류탄을 사용했다고 가정해보자. 그렇다면 수류탄 카드는 덱 맨위에 0코스트인 상태로 올라가야 할 것이다. 그런데 그러지 않고, 수류탄 카드는 0코스트인 상태로 내 패로 들어오게 된다. 또한 0코스트 상태인 수류탄 카드를 사용하면 다시 0코스트 수류탄 카드가 내 패로 들어오게 된다. 그 결과, 1코스트 공격카드라면 종류에 상관없이 무한으로 난사가 가능하게 된다. 심지어 본래 1장만 복사했어야 할 기능 또한 고장나서 수류탄을 복제한 이후, 다른 공격카드들 또한 복제가 가능해서 패는 곧 0코스트 공격카드로 가득차게 된다.
그 뿐만이 아니다. Rampage라는 캐릭터는 체력 10%이하의 적을 체력과 무관하게 처형하고 입힌 피해의 20%를 회복하는 효과를 지니고 있다. 그런데 처형 데미지가 데미지 통계에 잡히는 것도 모자라 이 처형 데미지는 데미지 흡혈의 대상이 된다.
