몇일전 스팀에서 한글 풀어서 다들 ㅄ되었어요
처음에 인기게임 관련 뉴스나오고 좋은일 하는구나 했다가
최근들어 이 게임할려고 불편한 런처쓰고 느린 업데이트에 번역 ㅈ같이 된거.. 심지어 아직도 게임에 중국어 나옴
그냥 참고 하는데
이제 웃음밖에 안 나오네요
다른 게임 즐기는 유저분들도 뒤통수 맞을수 있으니 항상 조심하세요~
댓글 달아주신 내용 잘 읽어봤습니다. 진짜 생각외로 좋은 글들을 많이 달아주셨더라구요... 사실상 이게 저 혼자만 느끼는 부분이 아니라 똑같이 스토브로 귀곡팔황이라는 게임을 구입한 다른 유저들도 그렇게 느끼는 부분이라 이렇게 적어놨습니다.
뭔가 의견을 표출 하라고 자유게시판이 있는거니깐요
스토브 인디가 그것 말고도 한글화해준게 많아요. 증기는 개발사에서 자체 한글화하거나 유저 한글화 안하면 그냥 한글을 포기해야 되죠. 하지만 스토브가 많은 인디 게임들을 한글화해주고 있습니다.
스토브 인디가 커져야 한글화 게임들이 늘어납니다. 스토브 인디 예산이 커지고 한글화 팀도 더 커지면 장차 발더스 게이트 3나 스타필드 같은 게임도 스토브 한글화 입점이 가능할수도 있습니다. 힘들겠지만 이것 말고는 대안이 없습니다. 그래서 정착하게 되었구요. 작은 힘이나마 보태려고 합니다.
참고로 저는 증기에서 작은 그룹 운영하며 게임 큐레이터 소규모로 하고 있고 증기 게임은 5천개 넘게 있습니다. 증기 관련 게임 블로그도 만들며 심취해있던 사람 입니다. 하지만 오래도록 증기 생활하면서 한글화 문제에 시달렸었죠. 유저 한글화에 기대다 스토브 인디에서 해답을 얻고 있습니다. 증기에서도 자체 한글 인디 게임들이 늘고 있지만 대부분 기계 번역 입니다.
한국의 젊은 유저들은 점점 인구 수가 줄고 있고 구매력도 낮아지고 있습니다. 증기에서 기계번역이 아닌 제대로된 한글화 게임이 앞으로 잘 나올까요? 시간이 갈수록 불리해질 것 같습니다. 그런 이유로 한국 게임 유저들이 하루라도 빨리 스토브 인디에 모여야 한다고 봅니다. 증기에서는 이제 한계 입니다. 10년 가까이 지켜본 결과와 앞으로를 생각해본 결과 이런 결론을 내리게 되었습니다.
님의 의견도 충분히 합당합니다. 그저 지나가는 다른 사람의 조금 다른 의견으로 봐주시면 좋을 것 같네요.
저는 예전부터 한글화 독점으로 슬픈 경우를 너무 많이 겪어 왔습니다. 심지어 독점 계약 때문에 아예 게임 구입조차 막혀 있었던 수많은 게임들을 볼 때 마다 참 피눈물이 납니다. 특히 플렛폼 한글화 독점으로 게임 하나 때문에 특정 게임기까지 구입해야 하다보니, 특정 업체에 대한 혐오까지 생겼죠. 그렇기에 비록 한국어화를 하더라도 기간 독점이나 독점을 아예 하지 않는 스토브 인디에게는 정말 감사합니다.
그리고 한편으로는 인디 개발자의 입장입니다. 어느 누가 봐도, 스토브 인디보다, 스팀의 시장이 월등히 큽니다. 단지 한국어화 해준다는 계약 하나 만으로 스토브 독점을 두기에는 포기해야 하는 시장이 너무 큽니다. 그런데 스토브 인디는 이 한국어화를 스토브 인디에 독점하지 않음으로써 인디 개발자에 있어서도 "저렴한 현지화"를 얻으면서도 스팀을 포기하지 않아 "넓은 시장"이라는 장점을 동시에 얻을 수 있게 됩니다. 즉, 인디 발전의 입장에서도 스토브 인디의 스텐드는 정말 좋다고 생각합니다.
이건 제가 워낙 스토브 인디에서 많이 받았기에 적는 말이긴 합니다만, 스토브 인디에서는 다른 플렛폼 보다 월등히 저렴하게 구입할 수 있거나, 구입 후 각종 사은품이나 혜택을 받을 수 있는 경우도 있었습니다. 그렇기에 스토브 인디의 혜택만 잘 받아서 구입한다면, 스팀과 스토브에서 이중 구입을 하더라도 크게 손해 본 느낌은 없었습니다. 물론 이건 사람마다 돈의 체감 가치가 다르기에 충분히 다르게 생각할 수 있는 부분이네요.
제가 업계를 잘 아는 것도 아닐 뿐더러 관련 소식을 잘 모르기에 제 의견에 잘못된 부분이 있을 수도 있습니다. 님 틀렸음! 이런 말이 결코 아니니 혹시라도 기분이 상하셨다면 죄송합니다. 상술했듯 그저 지나가는 다른 유저의 의견 정도로 봐 주시면 좋겠습니다.
