플라워즈는 봄, 여름, 가을, 겨울이 모두 하나의 세트로 묶여 있는 연작 작품이다 보니,
4개의 작품을 하나로 보았을 때 게임 전체의 서두에 해당하는 봄편은 주인공이 어째서 이 학교로 오게 되었고,
그리하여 만나게 되는 학교 내 여러 인물들 (봄, 여름, 가을, 겨울을 함께할 인물들)에 대한 설명 및
작품 속 공간적 배경이 되는 학교의 특유한 문화와 시스템 등에 대한 설명이 길어서 다소 지루한 부분도 있긴 합니다.
그렇지만 봄의 내용을 바탕으로 여름으로 이어지는 스토리이기 때문에,
저는 이 작품을 플레이하실 거라면 꼭 순서를 지켜서 봄, 여름, 가을, 겨울 순으로 플레이하시길 추천해 드리고 싶습니다.
봄편에서 기본적인 작품 내 세계관과 설정에 대한 설명이 다 이뤄져서,
봄편보다는 여름편이 더 몰입도도 높고, 재미도 있고,
비슷한 속도감이지만 봄편보다는 여름편이 좀 더 빠르게 진행되는 감이 있지만,
그렇다고 해서 봄편을 건너뛰고 플레이하거나,
봄편 다른 계절을 우선으로 플레이한다면 차근차근 스토리와 감정들이 쌓여 나가면서 느끼게 되는 재미가 반감될 수 있습니다.
결과적으로 여름편 내용에는 초반부터 봄편 스포가 포함되어 있기 때문에,
더 더욱 봄편부터 순서대로 플레이하시길 추천해 드립니다.
가을, 겨울은 아직 한글 번역 전 작품이라 플레이해 보지 않아서 모르지만,
계절별 작품 내 중심이 되는 캐릭터가 누구인가를 떠나서, 스토리만 놓고 보면 제 취향에는 봄편보다는 여름편이 더 재밌게 느껴지긴 합니다.
그래도 저는 순서대로 플레이하시길 추천드립니다.
플라워즈 시리즈는 작화가 매우 섬세하고 아름다우며 순한 맛의 GL이기 때문에,
GL 장르를 선호하시는 분들 뿐 아니라 GL 장르에 입문하시는 분들에게도 추천해 드리고픈 멋진 작품입니다.
총 플레이 타임은 봄편에 이어서 여름 편도 20시간 이상입니다.
(더빙을 끝까지 듣지 않고 내용만 읽으면서 진행해도 19시간 정도가 소요되므로, 더빙을 모두 들으면서 진행하신다면 25시간 정도가 될 듯 합니다.)
