테일즈샵의 전작들을 무척이나 재미있게 즐긴 입장에서 꽤나 기다려왔던 작품이 드디어 나왔네요.
랜덤채팅의 그녀! 네이버 웹툰 원작이라고 하는데 사실 원작은 안봤습니다.
사실 원작이 있는 게임들은 원작을 모르고 플레이했을때가 더 재미있는 경우가 대부분이라는게 제 경험상 결론이기 때문이죠.
편견은 제대로된 평가를 못하게 만드는 경우가 많은 것 같아요.
일단 게임 시스템적인 측면에서 감상을 말해보자면 전작들에 비해서 플레이어의 개입 부분이 한층 더 줄어들었다는 것.
말그대로 비주얼노벨이라는 단어에 집중한 모습입니다.
플레이어의 선택지가 거의 없다시피한 부분 때문에 스토리를 감상하는데 치중되었기에 이러한 부분을 기대하신 분들에게는 실망감을.
반면 매력적인 일러스트와 성우들의 연기를 자연스럽게 즐기고자 하시는 분들에게는 만족감을 주었을 듯 합니다.
저는 후자입니다. 성우님들의 꿀보이스에 귀호강을 제대로 즐겼죠!
그 외의 플레이어가 하는 부분은 알바를 통한 자금 수급 후 선물로 호감도 올리기가 있습니다.
다른 히로인은 아직 모르지만 유리의 경우는 이러한 부분에서 자금 압박감이 거의 느껴지질않아서 알바 컨텐츠가 사실상 비중이 느껴지질 않았습니다.
그리고 인별이라는 SNS에서 좋아요를 통한 호감도 관리가 있는데요.
어차피 알바를 통해서 호감도를 올릴 수 있기때문에 인별 컨텐츠 또한 사실상 무의미한 부분이 된것도 살짝 아쉬웠습니다.
인별과 알바가 서로 시너지를 내는 것이 아니라 서로의 존재의미를 빛바래게 한다고 할까나요? 그런 느낌이 들었습니다.
반대로 말하면 인별의 좋아요를 누르는 행위에 스트레스를 느낄 필요없이 선물공세로 호감도를 해결할 수 있으니 가볍게 플레이하실 분에게는 좋은 방식입니다.
또한 전작들과 달리 필드 이동을 추가하였는데 덕분에 사이드 퀘스트라는 컨텐츠도 수행할 수 있게 되었습니다.
좋은 시도였다고 보는데 필드이동키와 실제 이동방향에 대한 매칭이 살짝 어긋난다는 느낌이 들었습니다.
이 부분은 중반쯤되면 자연스레 적응이 되긴하지만 초반에는 조금 이동에 어려움을 느낄 수 있다는 점이 아쉬울 수 있겠네요.
하지만 후속작에도 단점만 보완하면 필드이동 방식은 긍정적인 효과를 가져올 수도 있다고 느꼈습니다.
하지만 단점을 많이 나열했지만 역시나 비주얼노벨 장르에서 중요한 캐릭터는 매력적으로 잘 뽑혔다고밖에 할 수 없습니다.
이 맛에 이 장르를 하는 것 아니겠어요? 귀가 녹는 성우들의 연기 덕분에 행복한 플레이 타임을 누릴 수 있었죠.
게다가 일러스트도 역시나 케로라는 말이 나올 정도. 제 기준으로는 퍼펙트했습니다.
차기작으로는 뭐가 나올지 모르지만 역시나 사전구매를 할 의향이 있습니다.
좋은 점을 말했으니 이번에는 다시 단점을 이야기해볼까요?
초반의 공통루트가 길어도 너무 길다는 느낌이 들었습니다.
특히 공통루트는 작중 그나마 있는 선택지라는 것도 없기에 한시간가량을 소설을 보는듯한 느낌으로 감상을 해야 하죠.
테일즈샵에서 원작과 다른 스토리모드를 추가 업데이트한다고 했으니 이러한 부분이 해소되길 살짝 기대해봅니다.
공부도 잘하고 게임도 잘하는 하민, 얀데레같은 리라, 오랜 친구같은 유리, 조용한듯 평범한 성아.
4명의 히로인 중에서 초회차에 누굴 선택해야할지 참으로 고민이 되었습니다.
여러분도 같은 마음이었겠죠?
원작 팬들이라면 랜덤채팅으로 처음 만난 성아를 선택했으려나 싶기도 한데요.
저는 고민없이 유리를 선택했어요. 이상적이지 않습니까?

다만 ...역시나 테일즈샵이라는 이름에 걸맞는 작품입니다. 헤이즐겜은 대만족했어요.
