랜덤채팅의 그녀는 시나리오 라이터 ZAD와 일러스트레이터 KERO가 참여해 <기적의 분식집>, <썸썸편의점> 이후로 3년 만에 내놓은 신작인데요.
출시 당시 기적의 분식집과 썸썸편의점은 인터넷 방송을 통해 화제를 모으기도 했고, 특히 이번 신작은 유명 네이버 웹툰이 원작이기 때문에 더 큰 인기몰이를 할 수 있을지 귀추가 주목됩니다.
또 한 가지 인상적인 부분은 랜덤채팅의 그녀가 18금 게임으로 나왔다는 점인데요.

윤성아는 랜덤채팅을 통해 주인공과 가장 먼저 접점이 생기는 히로인입니다. 물론 윤성아는 주인공의 정체를 모르는 상태이며 같은 반의 반장을 좋아하는 기색을 보입니다. 이를 본 주인공은 반장에게 이상형을 물어보고 랜덤채팅을 통해 연애 조언을 하는 식으로 도움을 주게 돼요.

서리라는 원작 웹툰 설정에 따르면 키가 매우 크며(167cm) 등장인물들 중에서도 마음이 가장 큰 캐릭터입니다. 각종 표정 묘사에서도 자연스럽게 색기가 묻어 나오는 모습을 볼 수 있어요. 그러나 한편으로는 큰 반전이 있는 캐릭터라서 이에 대한 묘사는 어떻게 되었을지 기대가 되는 캐릭터입니다.

박하민은 전교 1등과 그랜드 마스터 티어라는 모든 것을 가진 능력자입니다. 게임을 좋아하고 다른 사람의 눈치를 잘 보지 않는 성격으로 친구가 적은 편이지만, 주인공에게는 츤데레 같은 모습을 보여주고 위기의 상황에서 도와주기도 합니다.

작중 등장인물들의 성우는 위와 같습니다. 참고로 서리라의 성우 장미님은 최근 <러브 인 로그인>의 주인공 박다혜 역을 맡으며 호평을 받은 적이 있었기 때문에 더욱 기대감을 높여주고 있습니다. 물론 다른 성우들도 엄청난 분들이고요.
(이태양은 주인공을 괴롭히는 일진으로 등장하지만, 욕 더빙도 찰진 PTSD 유발자입니다.)
(하지만 과거 이태양은 주인공과 친한 친구 사이였습니다. 이유리와 엮인 이 둘의 과거 이야기를 보는 것도 하나의 재미 요소.)
특히 일진으로 등장하는 이태양 더빙은 너무 찰져서 PTSD가 올 정도가 아니었나 싶습니다. 성우는 한국의 탄지로(귀멸의 칼날), 남행자(원신) 등을 맡으신 분인데 여기에서는 틈만 나면 주인공에게 야발을 외치는 모습을 보니 살짝 인지부조화가 오는 것 같기도 하네요.
📌게임 진행 방법

스탠딩 일러스트와 스크립트가 중심이 되는 비주얼노벨 특유의 진행 방식은 동일하지만, 분기점마다 쿼터뷰 방식의 맵이 등장한다는 차이가 있습니다. 플레이어는 직접 학교나 시내에서 이동하면서 다른 사람들의 이야기를 듣고 원하는 루트를 진행하게 돼요.
(저는 역시 하민이 엔딩을 제일 먼저 볼 생각입니다. 업계 포상 딱 대)
또한 엔딩이 있는 게임이니만큼 원작과는 다른 방향으로 흘러가기도 하며 오리지널 스토리도 존재합니다. 무엇보다 히로인을 내가 선택할 수 있다는 점, 각 히로인들의 엔딩을 모두 감상할 수 있다는 점은 미연시의 최고 장점이죠.

예를 들어 반 내에서 인싸로 통하는 성아와 대현은 좋아요가 많은 반면, 친구가 주인공밖에 없는 종화는 내가 눌러주지 않으면 좋아요가 하나도 없는 모습을 볼 수 있죠. 마이웨이 스타일인 하민도 종화만큼은 아니지만 좋아요 수가 적다는 디테일이 들어가 있고요.

끝으로, 초반부터 오픈되진 않지만 알바를 해서 선물을 사주는 방법으로 호감도를 올리는 시스템도 존재하며, 퀘스트 보상으로 얻은 QP로 꾸미기 아이템도 구매할 수 있습니다.
그동안 많은 비주얼 노벨을 만들어온 테일즈샵답게 구성이 깔끔하면서도 도전적인 시도가 있는 부분도 돋보입니다. 스토리에 대한 몰입감을 더해주면서 목표 의식을 주는 보상까지. 사전 플레이를 통해 살펴본 첫인상은 괜찮았던 것 같네요.
