명성이 높았지만 인디 게임이라 큰 기대는 안했습니다. 하지만 첫 컷씬부터 저를 압도하네요. 간결하면서도 내용을 충실히 담고 압도적인 느낌을 줍니다. 핵으로 인해 세상이 거의 멸망한 이후의 이야기로 폴아웃을 좋아하셨던 분들이 하면 좋을 것 같습니다.
최신 게임들처럼 디테일이 높은 그래픽은 아니나 도리어 깔끔한 3d 그래픽으로 눈이 편안한 느낌 입니다. 그덕에 최적화가 아주 훌륭합니다. 오래된 노트북이나 구형 pc에서도 최고 사양으로 60fps 구동이 가능할거라 봅니다. 그리고 효율적인 색분할을 했다고 할까요? 맵과 건물의 색을 차분하고 안정감 있게 배치해서 사물 구분이 쉽습니다.
이 장르에서 익숙한 형태의 UI와 단축키를 제공해 편의성을 신경쓴 부분이 느껴졌습니다. 초반부 진행하면서 막힌 부분이 없네요. 튜토리얼도 쉽게 게임에 적응할 수 있게 잘 만들었습니다. 시작 스토리나 배경 설정을 간략하게 해놓아 세계관 파악에 시간이 들지 않으니 빠르게 몰입이 되었습니다. 사운드 부분은 뛰어나다고 느끼진 않았고 좀 심심한 감은 있지만 플레이에 적절한 BGM을 배치했다고 느꼈습니다.
깔끔한 3d 그래픽과 UI와 폰트 및 편안한 색 선택으로 게임 화면을 볼 때 눈이 아주 편안합니다. 언뜻보기에는 심심해보이는 화면이었는데 막상 직접해보니 아주 집중이 잘되어 큰 장점으로 다가옵니다. 외국 CRPG 게임에서 대사의 질과 양 또한 중요한 부분인데 번역이 자연스럽고 대사가 전체적으로 짧게 필요한 말만 하는 식이라 읽을 때 피곤한 경우도 없었습니다. 인디 게임의 장점을 최대한으로 발휘한 명품 CRPG라고 생각합니다.
잠깐 했지만 시간나는대로 꾸준히 할 예정 입니다. 엔딩을 꼭 보고 싶습니다. 2편도 나왔던데 구매할 예정 입니다.
