맞지맞지   이 게임  진행속도가 너무 빠름...차라리 첫 시작부터 넘사였으면  어떘을까 싶을 정도.이 게임 특징이  한케릭으로 여러 무기 할 수 있는건데   부캐?가 왜 필요함?? 리세마라만 막았어도  1년이상은 지연했겠다.그것도 부족한지  이젠  다클라를 만들었네?? 덕분에  라인들  부캐릭 하나씩 잡으면서 거래소 활성도 안됨 호문레이싱???   솔직히 이거 하는 사람있음???

Fake Heart Features

The biggest feature of Fake Heart is that almost all of it is a game made in black and white.

I found it attractive because it was in contrast to the flashy and realistic graphic games these days.

The Fake Heart story is about fairy tale writer Jade and her granddaughter Sarah.

Play time is 4 hours based on the main story or so.

As it is a visual novel story game, the subtitles and UI design were also attractive, like watching a movie.

While playing I felt that it was motivated by ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and other fairy tales from time to time.

There is a main story, and if you find the cutscenes in the main story, you can see the hidden story.

The messenger UI that appears in the middle of the story also appeared, allowing me to see the character's charm in three dimensions.

The game's Advantages

I was very satisfied with the excellent acting of the voice actors, the high-quality CG, and the beautiful narrative that felt like watching a youth drama.

Also, while the H version of the 'Park Do-eun' character was shown explicitly well in the CG 

I was a little bothered by the fact that a specific part (midriff area) was censored in the standing variation part.

For reference, I played the Secret Plus version.

Game Overall Review

Overall, I think it's a work that exceeds expectations for those who have played the previous work in that you can feel two kinds of tastes (?) in high quality.

Even if you haven't played the previous work, you can enjoy it enough, so there's no need to feel burdened at all.

벨트스크롤을 아시나요

 

90년대 초 시대를 풍미한 장르. 던전 앤 드래곤, 천지를 먹다, 더블 드래곤 같은 명작은 물론, 제목은 몰라도 화면을 보면 누구나 아는 캐딜락과 공룡이나 닌자 베이스볼 배트맨까지. 그 시절을 보낸 모두가 한 번은 본 적 있는 이들의 공통점은 이른바 ‘벨트스크롤’ 장르라는 점이다. 

 

벨트스크롤 게임들은 X축(가로)과 Y축(높이)만 사용하던 횡스크롤 게임에 Z축을 추가, 걸어서 위아래로 움직인다는 개념을 도입했다. 여기에 이전까지 흔치 않았던 화려한 그래픽과 시원시원한 액션에 스토리 연출까지 더해 방문객들의 눈길을 사로잡았고, 금세 주류 장르로 자리매김했다. 어떤 오락실은 전체 기기의 절반 이상이 최신작 벨트스크롤로 채워질 정도였다. 90년대 초는 그야말로 벨트스크롤의 전성기이자 황금기였다. 


▶ 어디선가 한 번 쯤은 본 적 있는 비주얼들


 


오락실에서의 인기는 PC와 콘솔로도 이어졌다. 이는 국내 게임 개발사들 사이에서도 마찬가지였다. 94년 발매된 ‘피와 기티’, 손노리에서 제작한 ‘다크사이드 스토리’, 동명의 만화를 원작으로 한 ‘어쩐지…저녁’ 등 걸출한 작품이 출시됐다.


국내 개발사들은 단순히 벨트스크롤을 따라 만드는데 그치지 않고 새로운 시도를 했다. 육성 요소를 적극적으로 도입, 김두한의 이야기를 바탕으로 경영 시뮬레이션을 섞은 ‘야화’나 퍼즐 플랫포머와 결합한 ‘일렉트로닉 퍼플’처럼 새로운 시도를 하며 완성도를 높여갔다.

 ▶ 벨트스크롤 액션 + 플랫포머 + 퍼즐 + 육성 요소가 모두 담긴 갓겜 일렉트로닉 퍼플. 최근 모바일로 나오기도 했다.



하지만 벨트스트롤은 몰락했다. 완전히 비주류 장르가 되어 신작 출시가 뉴스가 될 정도다. 시대가 변하면 시장도 변하는 법. 벨트스크롤은 시대의 변화에 적응하지 못했다. 국내에도 던전 앤 파이터가 명맥을 이어오고 있을 뿐, 신작은 찾아볼 수 없게 되었다.

 

벨트스크롤의 몰락, 그 첫 번째는 수익성의 문제였다. 쉽게 말해 한 판이 오래 걸린다. 90년대만 해도 게임은 오락실이었다. 집에 콘솔 기기가 있는 경우는 흔치 않았고, 그마저도 오락실 게임을 돌리려면 상당히 고가의 기기가 필요했다. 벨트스크롤 게임은 조금만 익숙해지면 100원으로 20~30분은 너끈히 버틸 수 있었다. 유저나 구경꾼은 재밌지만 오락실 업주 입장에서는 손해가 막심했다. 인기가 많아 들이지 않을 수도 없고, 들이자니 수지타산이 안 맞는 계륵이었다.

 

90년대 중반, 철권과 버추얼파이터 같은 대전액션과 펌프 잇 업으로 대표되는 리듬게임들이 유행하기 시작했다. 대전과 리듬은 빠른 회전율 뿐 아니라 진입장벽도 매우 낮았다. 더 많은 사람들이 새로운 유행을 따라갔다. 점주들은 회전율이 빠른데다 단가까지 높은 이 기기들을 공격적으로 들였다. 벨트스크롤 뿐 아니라 기존 오락실의 강자였던 횡/종스크롤 슈팅 게임들은 자연스럽게 골방으로 물러나게 되었다.

 

일본에서도 장르의 인기가 식어갔다. 벨트스크롤의 명가였던 캡콤마저 대전액션 붐에 뛰어들었다. 3D 그래픽 기술이 발전하며 FPS나 TPS, RPG 등 여러 장르에서 완성도 높은 프렌차이즈 게임이 나왔고, 벨트스크롤은 한 물 간 장르가 되고 말았다.

 

장르의 몰락이 단순히 수익성 경쟁에서 패배했기 때문일까? 그것도 아니다. 결정적으로 오락실 용 벨트스크롤은 분명한 장르적 한계가 있었다. 오락실 플레이 + 비용을 지불하는 컨티뉴가 일반적인 상황에서 다양한 장르와의 결합은 시도가 어려웠다. 제작사들은 새로운 요소를 도입하기 보다는 액션으로 난이도를 조절하고 액션의 완성도를 높이는 쪽이 더 맞다는 판단을 했고, 당시 할 수 있는 최선의 선택이었다. 

 

결국 벨트스크롤은 자기 복제될 수밖에 없는 상황을 만들었고, 다른 신선한 장르의 게임에 왕좌를 내주는 결과를 낳았다.

 

▶ 리듬 액션은 오락실의 대중화에 가장 큰 역할을 한 게임이기도 하다



 

벨트스크롤 붐은 온다

 

국내에서 만든 유명 벨트스크롤 게임들, 엔딩을 봤다는 유저는 찾아보기 어렵다. 왜냐하면, PC 게임임에도 오락실보다 더 빡빡한 플레이 구성과 높은 난이도 때문이다. 7스테이지 8스테이지를 넘어가 엔딩까지 가는데 서너 시간은 너끈히 걸리는 게임에 죽었을 때 컨티뉴가 안되는건 기본이요, 세이브가 없는 경우가 부지기수였다. (당시 게임들이 다 그러긴 했다) 

 

하지만 지금은 다르다. 오락실이 아닌 개인 기기로 플레이하는 시대가 되면서 벨트스크롤의 문법도 달라지고 있다. 로그라이트 장르에서 잘 다듬어진 육성 요소를, 시뮬레이션 장르에서 관리 요소를, 여러 액션 게임이 그동안 쌓아온 노하우를 사용해 성장하고 있다. 이 장르의 고전이자 대표적인 프렌차이즈인 ‘쿠니오군’ 시리즈도 (물론 욕을 먹긴 하지만) 꾸준히 나오고 있고, 베어 너클의 신작도 출시됐다. 

 

작년 중반 닌자거북이가 나왔을 때가 기억난다. 온갖 인터넷 방송을 벨트스크롤이 장악했었다. 당시 아케이드 감성을 살리는데에 주력했기 때문인지 새로운 매력은 없었지만, 발전한 그래픽과 매끄러운 연출을 다시 볼 수 있다는 것만으로도 충분하다. 무엇보다, 사람들이 이 장르의 재미를 공감하는 데에서 감동 받았다.

 

지금은 스팀에서 별도 태그조차 없다. 비뎀업(Beat’em up)으로 검색해야 일부를 찾아볼 수 있는 정도다. 폼은 죽어도 클라쓰는 영원하다는 말이 있지 않나. 근본 중의 근본인 벨트스크롤은 곧 다시 전성기가 오리라. 




추천 벨트스크롤 게임



캐슬 크래셔(Castle Crashers)

- 귀여운 그래픽과 그렇지 않은 연출의 절묘한 조화. 난이도는 빡치지만 육성 요소가 잘 갖춰져있고 플레이어블 캐릭터도 많습니다.

- 정신나간 스토리와 연출이 매력적




팬텀 브레이커: 배틀 그라운드

- 캐릭터가 귀엽다. 육성이 빡친다. 

- 축이동이 제한되는 묘한 형태의 벨트스크롤. 횡스크롤인데 적이 세 줄로 온다고 생각하면 된다.




닌자거북이 : 슈레더의 복수

- 그 옛날 그 시절 그 감성의 닌자거북이

- 다양한 조작법으로 액션이 화끈하지만, 그만큼 어렵다

- 솔직히 재밌지만 솔직히 좀 비쌈. 할인할 때는 노리시길

- 게임은 샀는데, 같이 할 친구를 안 판다




열혈삼국지

- 딱히 추천하진 않지만.... 삼국지를 좋아하고 열혈 쿠니오 시리즈를 좋아한다면 나쁘진 않음

- IP빨로 버티는 느낌. 50% 이상 세일하면 그땐 괜찮을 듯
