We are Narrowdeep, the developers of Inquisitor Shepherd.
It's already March, heralding the start of spring.
Last February, we focused all our efforts on updating the demo and solidifying the game's foundation.
This month, we're sharing the development progress we've been working hard on to bring you good news.
We're sharing the current development status and new information.
🎮 Detailed Development Progress
1. Chapter 2 Sailing Smoothly and Chapter 3 Draft Commenced
Currently, Chapter 2 is accelerating detailed work to create a more interesting and suspenseful production.
In addition, we have begun drafting Chapter 3 in parallel to improve the overall story's completeness.
This month's work contains a lot of spoiler content that penetrates the core of the story, so we ask for your generous understanding that we cannot disclose the entire work illustration.
Instead, we will briefly introduce two major new characters who will lead the narrative of Chapter 2.
He often confuses Shepherd with his unique way of speaking, asking and answering questions at the same time.
He seems to be plotting something secret in collaboration with the mountain guide 'Linari'.

오늘의 게임 이야기로 돌아가서 러브인 로그인의 타이틀화면입니다. 매번 비주얼노벨 게임을 할때면 느끼는거지만 이 화면에서 꿈과 희망이 느껴지는데 저만 그럴걸까요? 국내 비주얼노벨의 한계 수위에 도전한다는(...) 멋진 출사표에 첫 플레이 시 이 화면에서 저도 모르게 잠시 경건한 마음을 품고 말았습니다. 우리..한국이 여기까지 왔어...
그러면 가볍게 러브인 로그인에 대해서 이야기를 해볼까요? 아참, 제가 하는 리뷰는 절대 작품에 대해서 자세히 들어가지 않습니다. 그 부분은 온전히 플레이하시는 분의 밥그릇이라고 생각하기에 저는 항상 게임 리뷰를 간략하면서 소개드리는 수준에서 진행한다는 점! 공략은 왠만해서는 하지 않습니다.
1. 당신의 페르소나, 권성현파이터
권성현, 이 작품의 주인공이자 플레이어의 페르소나가 되는 인물입니다. 비주얼노벨을 플레이한다면 등장인물에게 몰입을 하는 것은 당연하지 않을까요? 이제부터 당신은 게임회사에서 일하는 29세의 남성이란 말입니다! 쉴때는 온라인게임만 하는 그런 멋쟁이...그리고 매일 아침, 전날밤 무리한 체력소모를 한 것을 후회하는 그런 평범한 대한민국의 남자이죠. 하지만 오후가 지나고 밤이 되면 언제 그랬냐는듯이 같은 실수를 반복하게 될 것입니다.
당신이 취미로하는 게임 '빌리언사가'는 망겜 소리를 듣지만 벌써 8년째 즐기고 있습니다. 이렇게 오래 즐길 수 있었던데에는 바로 언제나 함께하는 파티원 프리스트 '김폭딸'이 있기때문이죠. 상남자를 넘어서는 본능 그 자체의 닉네임이라고 평가할 수 있겠습니다. 물론 당신의 닉네임도 '권성현파이터'로 잼민이 단계를 크게 넘어서고 있지 못하죠. 어울리는 한쌍이군요.
낮에는 게임회사 직원으로서 답답한 동료들과 일하면서 스트레스를 받고 미래에 대한 비전도 없지만 밤이 되면 그래도 즐겁게 온라인게임을 하면서 살아가는 것이 지금까지의 권성현, 당신의 삶이었답니다. 그리고 오늘은 일요일의 업무미팅이라는 불합리하고도 분노가 치밀어 오를 수 있는 프리랜서의 요청에 따라 비오는 거리를 지나 한 까페로 들어섭니다.
2. 질 수 없다, 프리스트 김폭딸
그리고 빌리언사가의 프리스트 고랭커 김폭딸..그의 실제 모습은 20살의 가려린 미소녀 '박다혜'였습니다. 갭모에를 논하기에는 너무 임팩트가 큰 게임 닉네임을 가졌지만 실제 그녀는 소심하기 그지없는 모습입니다. 그런 그녀가 어떻게 권성현과 만나게 되었을까요?
바로 권성현이 만나기로한 프리랜서..이번에 게임회사에서 진행한 공모전에 입상한 사람이 바로 김폭딸 '박다혜'였던 것이죠. 100년만에 내린 폭우, 그리고 그날 업무적으로 만난 두 사람의 인연이 시작됩니다. 그러니깐 말이죠. 지금 20살이니...8년전에는 초등학생일때부터 권성현과 게임을 했다는 것이군요. 으음...넘어갑시다.
여타 작품이라면 두 사람이 서로의 정체를 알게되는 것은 한참 뒤로 미루어놓을 수 있겠지만 이 작품은 그런 여유 안부리죠. 전개 빨리 빨리! 수위 테스트가 급함! 이런 것일까요? 시작부터 모든 것을 오픈하고 제대로 달려보자는듯이 두 사람간의 이야기를 그려나가게 됩니다.
폭우로 물에 잠겨버린 박다혜의 집. 그래서 그날부터 권성현의 집에서 두 사람의 오묘한 동거가 시작됩니다. 게임폐인 2사람이 한집에 같이 산다? PC방이 별거겠습니까? 우리는 여기를 PC방이라고 하기로 했어요~
3. 러브인 로그인을 즐겨라
일본식 마을에서 기모노도 입고...
게임폐인들답게 PC방 데이트는 기본이죠.
압도적인 피지컬로 게임행사 코스프레도...
전설의 부산 풀코스도 빠질 수 없는 데이트코스죠.
물론 스토리의 양념이 되는 갈등요소도 적절하게 잘 배치되어서 게임의 감칠맛을 잘 살려주고 있습니다. 원래 비주얼노벨에서 중요한게 갈등요소의 수준 조절이 중요한데 너무 갈등이 고조되고 길어지면 게임이 너무 다크해질수도 있는데 러브인 로그인은 적당히 짧게짧게 끊으면서 중요한 순간에만 집중한다는 느낌이 들었습니다. 이정도면 합격일까나!!
삶이란 고달프고도 힘들지만 희망을 가지고 살아야 하는 이유는 그 끝에 행복한 결말이 있을 것이라는 희망이 있기때문 아닐까요? 우리는 언제나 그러한 해피엔딩을 꿈꾸며 영화, 게임, 드라마를 보는 법이죠. 이 게임 '러브인 로그인'은 이러한 기대에 충분히 부응하는 작품이라고 생각하며 이번 리뷰를 여기에서 마치겠습니다. 다들 즐거운 플레이 되세요.
