We are Narrowdeep, the developers of Inquisitor Shepherd.
It's already March, heralding the start of spring.
Last February, we focused all our efforts on updating the demo and solidifying the game's foundation.
This month, we're sharing the development progress we've been working hard on to bring you good news.
We're sharing the current development status and new information.
1. Chapter 2 Sailing Smoothly and Chapter 3 Draft Commenced
Currently, Chapter 2 is accelerating detailed work to create a more interesting and suspenseful production.
In addition, we have begun drafting Chapter 3 in parallel to improve the overall story's completeness.
This month's work contains a lot of spoiler content that penetrates the core of the story, so we ask for your generous understanding that we cannot disclose the entire work illustration.
Instead, we will briefly introduce two major new characters who will lead the narrative of Chapter 2.
He often confuses Shepherd with his unique way of speaking, asking and answering questions at the same time.
He seems to be plotting something secret in collaboration with the mountain guide 'Linari'.

버닝비버는 즐겁게 보낸 게임 행사였습니다. 분위기상 긴장은 없었고 관람객인것처럼 즐기며 전시하였습니다!

행사 전날 전체 전시팀 중 두번째로 도착한 것으로 보였습니다.
📌 작은 이슈
이슈가 있었는데 부스를 꾸밀 물품과 굿즈가 행사 내 도착 못한다는 연락을 받았었습니다.
늦게 들어올 굿즈는 숙소에 도착 후 온라인 이벤트로 변경하여 제작하였습니다.
📌 ver.0.0.1 기획 전시

행사가 시작하기 전 아침 'ver.0.0.1 기획 전시'를 보고 카투바의 옛 버전이 생각났습니다.

카투바의 옛 버전은 플랫포머였습니다. 로비에서 원하는 플랫포밍 특성(벽타기, 구르기, 공중 대쉬, 줄 위에 걷기 등)을 찍고
목표로 하는 몬스터의 흔적을 찾고 쫒는 컨셉인데 위로 도망가는 몬스터를 잡으려면 벽타기나 공중대쉬 특성을 찍으면 쫒아가기 쉬운 것이죠.
개구리 경우 발판으로 사용하여 점프하는 등 지금과는 다른 모습입니다!
📌 행사

플레이어나 개발자들끼리 부담없이 대화가 가능한 분위기도 좋았습니다...!
그로 인해 몇 몇분들은 저에게 깊은 피드백도 주셨는데 인상깊은 피드백 중 하나는 '대쉬의 차별성'
'구르기에 무게감이 있으면 좋다'라는 표현 하셨는데 실제 처음하는 사람들이 제 의도보다 대쉬를 자주 사용하지 않았습니다!
이 대쉬의 무게감을 준다는 표현이 저에게 대쉬의 감각적 차별성(시각적 이펙트, 사운드, UI, 혹은 조작감 등)을 두어 차별화 시키는 것이라 받아들였습니다!
인 게임에서 몇몇 부분에서 시각적으로 '강조 영역'이 있으면 좋겠다는 피드백 또한 공감이 되었습니다!

현재의 랭크도장(등급표시)가 이미 그러한데 이러한 부분을 조금은 더 만들 필요성이 있어보입니다.
특정 UI 아이콘 혹은 오브젝트의 묘사를 다르게 주어 시각적 깊이감을 만들 수 있으면 좋겠습니다.
그리고 이번 빌드에서는 튜토리얼 부분이 피드백으로 오기 시작하였습니다.
(기존에는 항상 타격감이나 편의성만 지적받았는데 다른부분이 오기 시작한건 큰 단점이 점점 개선된다는 신호로 받아드려집니다.)
피드백 외에 인상깊은 이야기가 있었는데...!
사람들이 의외로 병아리를 많이 좋아하는거같습니다!
개발 중 스테이지인 '올챙이?' 를 방아깨비, 곱등이 등으로 부르는 분들도 많았습니다!
숙소에 돌아가면 빌드나 피드백을 정리하면서 반응들을 찾아보았습니다.

어쩌다 개발자들이 투표하여 선정하는 올해의 버닝비버에 선정되었습니다...!
시상 전 소감이 있다 귀뜸을 받아 준비한 말들이 있지만 준비한 말은 못하고 받을 때에 뭐라 말했는지 모르겠습니다.
잘해서라기보다는 부족하지만 앞으로 더 잘만들어보라는 응원의 메시지로 받아들였습니다!
전체적으로 버닝비버는 테마파크에 온 듯한 느낌이였습니다.
하루 10개 한정인 비버 가죽을 쓰고 있으면 스태프들이 '헤이! 비버!!' 하며 인사해주었고
돌아다니고 있는 스태프를 만나 간단한 게임을 이기면 음료수를 얻을 수 있었습니다.
