버닝비버 2022에 첫 날에 게임 부스를 체험해본 후기를 옮겨보았습니다.
LO-FI ROOM
LO-FI ROOM은 제가 정말 재미있게 했던 게임입니다. 외국인 담당자님이 한국말을 유창하게 하시면서 안내를 해주셨는데요.
그림 속 악기를 찾으면 해당 악기의 음에 맞는 리듬게임이 등장하는 시스템입니다. 다음 라운드로 넘어갈수록 난이도가 올라가는데 담당자님이 임의로 난이도를 최대로 올려주셨는데 저는 이 때 다 맞췄습니다... 다 맞추면 좌측 하단에 별 이펙트가 뜨더라고요.
숨은 그림 찾기와 리듬게임이 결합한 신선한 장르였습니다.
더 코마2: 비셔스 시스터즈
고등학교를 배경으로 한 공포게임입니다. 송릉 세화 지역을 돌아다니며 증오의 자매로부터 추격을 뿌리치는 스토리입니다.
으스스한 분위기에 긴장감이 감도는 길을 지나며 단서를 찾아 스토리를 진행해나가야 합니다. 플레이하면서 점차 숨이 막힐 정도로 긴박감이 넘쳤습니다. 특히 추격전이 시작될 때 그 압박감은 장난 아니었죠.
칼라림
도트 게임 형식에서 점프를 하며 장애물을 회피할 수 있습니다. 여기까지만 보면 평범해보이지만 공중에서 우클릭을 한 상태로 공중에서 체공이 가능합니다. 또한 플레이어의 색상에 맞는 벽에 붙으면 해당 벽을 타고 오를 수 있어 조작감에 변수를 더했습니다.큐브 오브 라이프: 레저렉션
로그라이크형 슈팅 게임입니다. 사실 실제 인 게임은 2D인데 3D로 입체감이 느껴지게끔 개발을 했다고 하고요. 원래 사격은 자동으로 나가도록 모바일로 출시를 했지만 부스 시연에서는 콘솔 기기로 빌드를 바꾸어서 수동으로 사격을 하도록 바꾸었다고 하시더라고요. 덕분에 체감 난이도가 매우 올라갔습니다...STAND - ALONE
횡스크롤로 적을 처치해나가는 도트 그래픽의 격투 액션 게임입니다. 인디게임하면 대부분 연상할 수 있는 작품 이미지로 교과서적으로 괜찮았다고 생각해요.
적에게 가하는 시원한 타격감과 선택해서 스킬을 골라 전투하는 재미를 느낄 수 있었습니다. 커맨드가 x, c, z 방향키를 채택하고 있어 w, a, s, d에 익숙한 분들에게는 조금 적응하는 시간이 필요할지도 모르겠습니다.
캐츠랜드 - 방치형 페스티벌
모바일에서 방치형으로 고양이로 페스티벌을 여는 게임입니다. 별다른 조작 할 필요 없이 돈을 수급하면서 건물을 짓고 고객을 유치하는 방식입니다.
보통 인디게임에서 흔히 PC게임 위주로 생각하는 경향이 있는데 버닝비버 2022에서는 모바일게임도 꽤 많이 들어와 있더라고요.

퇴사하기 전날 직장인이 상상만으로 해보고 싶었던 깽판을 게임 속에서 구현해보는 작품입니다. 소변으로 전기 합선시키기, 상사 머리 벗기기, 음료 캔 다 마셔버리기 등 참신한 미션들을 할 수 있었습니다.길고양이이야기2
길고양이인 시나몬을 주인공으로 스토리 위주로 진행되는 작품 길고양이 이야기2 입니다. 퍼즐과 간단한 전투 요소가 각각 가미되어 있어 이를 통해 길을 돌파해야 합니다. 허기와 체력을 관리해야 하는데 어렵거나 하진 않습니다. 주변 길고양이들과 친밀도를 찾아 사이드 스토리도 볼 수 있는데 여쭤보니 어느 정도 플레이 타임을 요구한다고 하시더라구요. 힐링게임 좋아하시는 분들에게 최애 되실 듯 한 작품입니다.
