We are Narrowdeep, the developers of Inquisitor Shepherd.
It's already March, heralding the start of spring.
Last February, we focused all our efforts on updating the demo and solidifying the game's foundation.
This month, we're sharing the development progress we've been working hard on to bring you good news.
We're sharing the current development status and new information.
🎮 Detailed Development Progress
1. Chapter 2 Sailing Smoothly and Chapter 3 Draft Commenced
Currently, Chapter 2 is accelerating detailed work to create a more interesting and suspenseful production.
In addition, we have begun drafting Chapter 3 in parallel to improve the overall story's completeness.
This month's work contains a lot of spoiler content that penetrates the core of the story, so we ask for your generous understanding that we cannot disclose the entire work illustration.
Instead, we will briefly introduce two major new characters who will lead the narrative of Chapter 2.
He often confuses Shepherd with his unique way of speaking, asking and answering questions at the same time.
He seems to be plotting something secret in collaboration with the mountain guide 'Linari'.

귀여운 고양이 시나몬 과연 집으로 돌아갈 수 있을까?
나비를 쫓다가 길을 잃어버린 고양이 시나몬은 길고양이 무리에 들어가 그들의 생활 방식을 배웁니다. 그 과정에서 나름의 규칙을 배우고, 고양이 사이의 이야기를 들으면서, 인간들을 바라봅니다. 길고양이의 눈에 우리는 어떻게 보일까요. 누군가는 인간을 그리워하지만, 누군가는 인간들을 증오하기도 합니다. 이러한 상황에서 시나몬은 주인을 다시 만날 수 있을까요?
고양이로 진행되는 서사는 현실에서 볼법한 이야기들로 구성되어 있습니다. 그러기 때문에 이야기에 이입할 수 있습니다. 길고양이로서 가장 중요한 것은 허기를 달래는 것입니다. 허기를 달래기위해 쥐를 잡거나, 쓰레기통을 뒤질 수 밖에 없습니다. 물론 운이 좋다면 성격 좋은 인간을 만나 밥을 얻어 먹을 수 있겠지만 매일 일어나기는 힘듭니다. 허기 시스템이 생각보다 빡빡하게 구성되어 있습니다. 초반 인벤토리가 6개로 제한되는 상황에서 매번 좋은 음식만을 먹을 순 없고 허기와 건강사이의 줄타기를 해야합니다. 또한 쥐를 잡기 위해 공격을 하면 허기가 발생하고, 시간이 지나면 허기가 생겨 퍼즐을 푸는데에도 약간의 스트레스가 있습니다. 퍼즐 스테이지에서는 허기가 덜 줄어들게 하면 좋을 것 같습니다.
개인적으로 UI가 아쉬웠습니다. 대화시에 대화창과 대사가 동시에 나타난다는 느낌보다는 미묘하게 이전에 나왔던 대사가 나오고 현재 출력되려는 대사가 나오는 것 같습니다. 길고양이에게 선물을 주고나면 ESC만 먹히는 것이나 인벤토리의 아이템 사용에서 마우스를 사용하면 편리하게 사용이 가능하지만, 키보드만을 사용하는 경우에는 마우스를 사용하는 것보다 불편하여 아쉬웠습니다.
