※ Participating Creators will have only one official challenge run per phase (First Half and Second Half) during the event period, and only scores from this official attempt will count toward 「The Call of Chaos」 ranking.

※ Participating Creators must display the 「The Call of Chaos」 on their live stream before taking on the challenge.

2. Scoring Method

- Scores obtained from the official attempts in the First Half and Second Half will be combined.

- First Half Score + Second Half Score = Final Score.

- The Creator with the highest Final Score will be determined as the final winner of 「The Call of Chaos – Creator Challenge」.

※ All scores will be calculated based on the submitted result screens (screenshots).

※ Points will only be valid if the gameplay of each official challenge attempt is recorded and verifiable via the stream link.

3. Results

- 9/9 (Wed): Current Rankings and Key Stats will be revealed after the First Half ends.

- 9/16 (Wed): Final Results and Final Winner will be announced.

Currently, our top priority is fixing the issues reported since launch and stabilizing the build.

Along with that, we are preparing new challenge content and cosmetic elements so that you can enjoy the game for a longer time even after the official release.

The following information is currently under development, and schedules or details may change depending on development progress and test results.

1.1.0 Update — Targeted for mid-to-late September

In 1.1.0, we aim to add a costume system and a new endgame challenge modeas soon as possible.

We will review whether these challenge modes and costumes can be further expanded after the 1.1.0 update, based on player feedback and development schedules.

Costume System

We plan to add a costume system that allows you to change the character's appearance.

Some costumes can be obtained through story progression, and we are preparing them to be earned as rewards for meeting specific conditions in the new challenge mode.

Fearless Mode (Tentative Name)

This is a long-term challenge mode where you must clear multiple chapters in a row, forcing you to think about which equipment to use and when.
Since using all your strong equipment in one chapter can make subsequent chapters difficult, long-term build planning is more important than in existing challenge modes.

Boss Rush Mode (Tentative Name)

An expanded version of the Epilogue 3 challenge mode, where you test how far you can push through consecutive bosses with a fixed build.

New Challenge Mode — Targeted for October 30th

After 1.1.0, we are preparing a new challenge mode that will feel significantly different from what you have experienced so far.

We are currently calling it ‘Rule Break Mode’ (Tentative Name)and are conducting initial development and testing with an update target of October 30th.

Rule Break Mode (Tentative Name)

The current growth system in Witch's Garden is designed so that even players unfamiliar with roguelikes can relatively easily understand the direction of a strong build.

However, we believe that in the process, the freedom of builds and the fun of creating extreme combinations have been somewhat reduced.

Rule Break Mode is a mode that greatly relaxes these restrictions and focuses on the fun of creating much bolder and more complex builds.

However, this mode is still in the early experimental and testing stage.

In particular, as builds get stronger, the amount of projectiles and effects appearing simultaneously is expected to increase significantly, so we are testing aspects that need to be resolved in terms of performance and optimization.

Also, it remains to be verified whether the current concept will actually be fun to play. Depending on test results or issues discovered during development, the rules or growth structure may change significantly, or some plans may be scaled back or altered.

Please view what we are sharing now as our intended development direction rather than finalized specifications.

Nevertheless, we will do our best to make it a mode where you can feel the fun of building and growing in ways that were difficult to experience in the existing Witch's Garden.

Other

As the end of October is close to Halloween, we are also considering adding small content for Halloween or other types of cosmetic elements.

We are also preparing an OST update and additional Japanese voice recordings for the epilogues.

However, our priority will be stably adding the new challenge mode and costume system.

We are still checking the issues reported since launch, and apart from update preparations, we will sequentially review and reflect additional bugs and suggestions.
