Isn't a Lineage-like game supposed to be like Lineage? There should be character affinities, and you should be able to overcome those affinities with gear + control + skills.
But why do all the games made these days include accuracy stats, leaving only archer/ranged characters? All the bot farms are just archer characters.
Whether it's Sol or Zeus that opened recently, archers are at the top. Even here, the majority of the rankers are archers.
And this is the melee hunting pattern.
It's serious. Because of aggressive ranged mobs in every area, ranged characters don't move much from one spot, so they can just hit specific aggressive mobs and clear the main quest quickly. But melee characters keep moving while auto-hunting, so they keep clearing out all the aggressive mobs, kill 1-2 main quest mobs, and then clear out all the aggressive mobs again. This is the pattern. You end up killing unnecessary mobs, so the main quest is slower than for ranged characters. On top of that, once you hit level 54-55, your accuracy is so low that you get tons of misses.
Also, looking at the 2 dominant guilds on our server, the ratio of knights is pathetic. There are only about 1-3 fighter classes in the guild.
Whether it's a field boss or a world boss, make it so that you can't kill the boss without a knight/healer because the aggro will just fly everywhere, you guys!
What is the reason for needing a knight in this game?
I got "Astral Ascent" and "LUFTRAUSERS" on Epic.
