The protagonist is at home like any other day.
I was quietly drawing a picture by myself.
There is a dragon drawn in the picture
At some point, he actually appears in the village,
At that moment, the protagonist realizes that he has special abilities.
And soon,
You begin a journey to find the 'wisp' scattered around the world.
Wake up something with a picture,
A being that connects to the world by drawing lines—
Now the protagonist takes his first step towards becoming 'Whisper'.
🎨 The world drawn with your fingertips, Whisper
"Whisper" is a game where you draw shapes to collect Whisps .
Approach the wisp, an animal-like being with various appearances, and activate the drawing function.
Press the mouse and slowly draw the line that appears on the screen.
You will collect that hazard.
The player becomes a wandering wisp collector in this world.
Explore each area, encounter various hazards,
I record their forms, characteristics, and abilities one by one in my notebook.
It was like a journey to create a dictionary of wisps .
Beyond simple collection,
In that the ‘attitude to observe and understand this world’ itself is part of the play ,
I found this game to be deeper and quieter.
🌱 If you collect plants, you can draw a picture.
Ink is required to progress in the game.
Ink can be obtained by collecting plants that grow all over the world.
The capacity of the ink bottle is limited,
Once you draw a picture, all the ink is used up.
So I have to find the plant again and fill it with ink.
You can draw again and collect wisps.
Collecting plants and gathering ink is not just collecting,
It felt like a process of recovering my right to exist in this world .
When I can draw with that ink again,
I felt like I understood the world a little better.

Each collected wisp has a different shape and ability .

They are the ones who are necessary for the flow of the world .
Some quests only open when you have certain hazards.
You can move it to a place where it's needed, and you can use it to solve problems together.
So I try to connect the dots between what I have now and where I want to go next.

It felt like a metaphor.

"Whisper" has no set route or mission.
It's a game where you can freely wander through beautiful scenery .
Usually this freedom is sometimes
It can lead to “boredom” or “loss of purpose.”
But I hardly felt that way in this game.
When you see a plant, you naturally go towards it and collect ink .
If a new danger appears while you are walking down the street,
Driven by curiosity, “What kind of abilities does that wisp have?”
Quietly, but clearly, the next move was decided.
A structure in which each and every action is done not because one “has to do it,” but because one “wants to do it.”
Thanks to this, the play was free, but not empty.
It's not just luck or mood,
I felt it was because of the level design, which was dense but not noticeable .
A design that draws players in without them even realizing it.
In it, I could truly move at 'my own pace'.
