Now that I've been thinking about it, there are many strange parts of the game, so let's point out a few things

Cost cycle and its board duration effect <--- failed to adjust.

And the only cards that should have Unique don't have Unique, and that's why things like Trica-mi were created.

The balance is already messed up, so there are a lot of things to fix

Some decks rotate through the entire deck in turn 1 and cycle

Only those decks have uniformly high power

Inflationary next support will either reduce cost/earn cost, draw, or increase damage, or just make everything work. Maybe it will make everything work.

Yuyeok, Great Rift <--- In the case of Yuyeok, it comes out smoothly, but it was made without any unique characteristics.

It could only be seen as a complacent content rather than end content...

But here, the turn limit is tight and the balance is strange, so the problem becomes even worse.

It only demands short-term battles, and there is no benefit to be gained from enduring, so only damage-dealing is possible, and Vanguard is treated like trash <--- From the beginning, there was talk about how to treat Vanguard, and the new content ended up being a bad move of adding additional points for healing and Vanguard mains.

I've actually talked about the Great Rift before.

The scoring method is also a problem, but it came out in a state where deck farming, balance, and resources don't match, making the three problems more noticeable, making it closer to a triple crown-level bad move.

And it came out very quickly in just one month.

The Great Rift has healing points and perfect block points in addition to damage points in the scoring method. <--- Now, it's a deformed form of receiving a lot of these points using this, but the funny thing is that even if you don't use compulsion, the late-game Trica-mi is in the top ranks.

Actually, when you look at it as a ranking match, it's a bit absurd... If you want healers or Vanguards to be used, you could make them do their part in the content game-wise, but it's stupid to give extra points for adding a side dish to a battlefield where they can't even do their part, but they did unimaginable things with these points.

With the balance, Haru, Yuki, and Chizuru are all trash, right? They're all buried, and even though they gave Vanguard main points, you can't even find Vanguard.

Even if people who haven't raised Trica and Kami try to put in resources in a hurry, there's a problem because there are so many resources needed, and they might not want to raise them, so it's like giving up on the Great Rift.

The deck farming also got worse because of the basic Raw Rashomon structure, Codex reroll, and End of the World Gate, all because of the Great Rift.

Stress <--- Something is wrong with this system.

You can't control it and the return is very small. There's no thrill either.

But they even put in animation and it goes deep into the setting 

It seems like the system should have more weight.

But in the Great Rift, Nebula Distortion, and Yuyeok <--- you don't use stress here? Did they create a system and not even understand it themselves?

I think there should have been something that allows you to control stress systemically or feel some thrill.

The return and strategic control need to be systemically supplemented, so it only looks like an incomplete system.

The current design is just tying it up and hoping it works with luck. I don't know who made this design, but I want to punch them in the face.

Link Crash <--- This is just giving you one more turn and telling you to leave.

There's nothing to recover from in this state.

I don't know what to do. 

Did they make this so you wouldn't see the kill event?

It would have been nice to add a reversal element for the thrill.

They put in a lot of effort into the pixel art, but in the end, they play the same role as the signature weapons in Genshin or the light cones in Honkai Star Rail.

Wouldn't it have been better if they came out and fought together?

If there was a switch, it would have been possible to increase the strategy a bit more than doing it with three people. 

The game lacks strategy right now, so why didn't they think of this?

First of all, I don't know who put in things like +1 to fraud resolve or red execution card, but I want to punch them in the face.

When I thought about it, it's a cosmic breakthrough-level high point and a low point where you die if you don't draw it.

Wouldn't it have been better to group Sparks together to solve this?

This would make it easy to suppress high points while ensuring a certain amount of power in each game, and characters wouldn't die completely.

At the same time, the gap with the ultra-high points would be reduced, so wouldn't the stress of save farming be reduced?

저만 그렇게 느끼는 게 아니었군요. 설계한 놈이 매력적인 요소들을 따와서 붙여놓긴 했는데 다 따로 놀고 연관성도 없고 깊이도 없음.있는 그대로 가져와도 이렇게 맛대가리 없이 만드는데, 응용이 될 리가 없음.   좋다는 거 다 차용을 해도 33원정대처럼 정말 맛깔나게 예술적으로 버무리는 애들도 있는데, 얘네는 레알 정반대임

First, please give a brief introduction of the developer (or team).

Hello. I'm Artrenya, the developer of my second work, <Esha>.

 

What was the motive or inspiration for creating the game <Esha>?

The story of <Esha> is part of the content of a dream I had. I thought it was good content, so I adapted it and produced it.

 

If you define <Esha> in one sentence, what kind of game is it?

If I were to define it in one sentence, I would say, "A game that made me think a lot."

What kind of character is the core concept of the game, “The girl who fell from the sky”?

I wrote that she was a girl who fell from the sky, but this girl's identity is Tina. Tina fell from the sky and appeared before my eyes, so I created the concept of "a girl who fell from the sky."

 

How does the player journey with Tina?

Their journey is a journey to return home, and sometimes they get caught up in certain events, and sometimes they rely on each other to journey together.

 

What genre does this game belong to? (e.g.: Adventure, Story-based, Puzzle, etc.)

 During the game planning stage, I tried to implement choices with a reasoning gimmick, but for various reasons, it is now a story-based visual novel.

What are the most important features or attractive points of the game play?

I remember the character's expression preset that was not in the previous work. In <Esha>, the character's expression changes according to the flow of the story. I also wanted to break away from Ren'Py's unique basic UI. I don't think it's perfect, but I think it turned out well.

 

How did you set the worldview or atmosphere that <Esha> contains?

As I answered in the previous question, it is part of the content of an SF dream. Using that content, I first set the overall temporal and spatial background, and divided the layers into zones as obstacles in Tina's journey home. After that, I set the rest through various thoughts.

 

Which platform will the game be released on? (PC, Mobile, etc.)

It will be released on Stove, a PC platform.

What is the current development progress, and when is the expected release date?

Development is nearing the final stages, and we are currently proofreading for typos. I had a hard time because there were more typos than I thought. The expected release date is December 22, 2025.

 

I'm curious whether you are developing alone or as a team. If there is a division of roles, please introduce it.

I'm developing it alone. I was in charge of everything except the images.

 

If there are any special production tools used, such as generative images/AI, please explain.

The background images and some CGs currently used in the game use midjourney, and the characters and some CGs use Novelai.

SUNO AI was used for the sound, and AI was used differently from the previous work.

 In what direction is the character design in the game being worked on?

First, I imagine a character design that suits the game. Then, I use Novelai to extract characters until a result similar to that character design comes out. That's how Tina came out.

 

What is the most important part of the story composition?

While writing the story, I thought about whether there were any contradictions and whether the characters' words and actions were consistent. This part was difficult.

What emotions or messages do you want players to feel while playing the game?

This is difficult to answer. At least, I hope they don't feel the opposite of the emotions I intended.

 

What was the most difficult part of the development process?

Writing the story was difficult. Even though it was part of the content of a dream, it was difficult to find contradictions or adapt it.

In what direction is the OST or sound design of <Esha> being prepared?

 It was produced using SUNO AI. I used AI to create sounds that were appropriate for the situation and background, but it was difficult because it didn't come out exactly as I wanted.

 

Do you have any future update plans or additional content ideas?

Since the story has ended, I don't think there will be any further stories.
