슬프네요 이번에 뭐 2개로 줄였다고는 하지만 여전히 많고 다른 셋파밍하려고 드가면 복수 공셋 이런거 나오면 이거는 꽝이네 싶고..

The boss seems to be design for Chiziru, but ... After 7 hits of the same attack we don't make more damage ... Just why ? The other mechanic of the boss asks to do a lot of hits, the consequence is only a few amount of character are able to do it (specially when extra attack doesn't count ...). I think those mechanics are very limiting for the kind of team that can shine is this content, that's why we see mostly Tressa/Cassius.

If mechanics aren't enough we also have the points calculation that makes no sense to me. Dealing damage has a limit since we have a threshold, just why ??? 

Furthermore, we can earn points by healing and blocking damage with shield which becomes the only option to grind more, this is probably one of the biggest problems of this event ! Only mika can do this job correctly on this boss, Rei's heal is ridiculous, Orlea takes too much space in the hand with her retain ... And this calculation makes the item Chains of Obsession completly broken because how it interact with Tressa curse ... 

I really hate the fact to be in the top (i know i know rewards aren't worth it, but i like competition) asks to have a single really rare item. It's already hard and time consumming to have the right deck, asking a rare item like that is terrible ! I don't think that's a good design !

I mean... the 2nd phase was kinda meant for shielder & healer since ppl have been asking for shielder/healer-focused content, so that's why there's heal & block bonuses. As for the current META (Piece of Obsession, Glorious Resistance, etc), I think it's just people being sweaty. The game mode could definitely be improved, yes. But if we get a new event that limits your card use per turn or punish you for hurting (and then healing) yourself, people would STILL find a way to abuse a certain equipment or a certain card that the dev didn't even consider . Edit:Dev probably limit your dmg after a certain hit to nerf Mei Lin's Rising Dragon, which doesn't matter because ppl can just use 2 Rising Dragon or basic atk build. So all it does is nerfing Chizuru's multi-hit Shadow Moon build.As for extra atk, I agree, they should make so that extra atk affects enemy's on-hit buff.

I also don't like the way the leaderboard works; I believe the competition should give people a pre-built pool of characters, with pre-built decks as well; In this way, they could truly test the players' skills; also That's not the only reason we only see Tressa + Cass, but also because Tressa is easily the best DPS in the game; after all, Agony stacks infinitely, and she can generate 0-cost cards that'll be exhausted, not bircking her deck;

 Hello, I played My Favorite Girlfriends Are Thrice Divided this time and it was so fun that I'm leaving a review! I only played through once, so there will be a lot of things I missed, and there may be things I misunderstand, so  just listen to it as a review from an ordinary user and let it flow. Just think of it as, 'Oh, there's also this kind of opinion!'

I don't have much experience writing, so please understand that it may be somewhat lacking!

(First of all, before I talk about the review, please be aware that it includes the ending contents and CGs of all heroine routes!)

 First of all, I really liked the overall parts of the game. The voice actors' performances were great, and the characters' settings were fun and interesting. The amount of content in the game was also quite long since there are three heroines, so I was satisfied. Those amounts were also well distributed among all three characters, so the story progressed well. I remember deeply 고민ing from the first choice because all the heroines were attractive. 

I'm the type of person who watches the character I like the most last, so I did the Seong Ah-yoon route last and started with the Na Yu-jin route first.

 I think I enjoyed the Yu-jin noona route more than I personally expected. 

Among the three heroines, she doesn't show that she likes the main character the most, and seeing that she was faithful to her role as a leader, I wanted to take care of her, and I was also curious about what her reaction would be if I chose her as a lover.

Every time I made a choice, she reacted with a cute reaction, and I liked the gap moe in her older sister attribute. Yu-jin noona, who owns her own car and even has a license, showing her driving is 멋있고 and 설레기도 because the concept of her being an older sister stands out. 

What I liked in the common episode was that she left Ah-yoon waiting and said, "Let's finish eating the ice cream before we go," which made me realize that Yu-jin noona is also one of the rivals in love, and I thought the part that slightly revealed the inner side of the character Na Yu-jin was  good.

 

 I honestly think Yu-jin noona's ending turned out the best among the three.

However, I don't know if it's because there wasn't much content after the ending incident was resolved, but unlike Na Yu-jin, who acted with a mask on, her personality didn't change much even at the ending, and I'm a little sad that there wasn't enough gap moe where she was all 사랑 and 질투. So, I felt like the climax was lacking because the incident resolution wasn't about settling things with Yu-jin noona's parents, who were directly related to the problem. That's how it ended, which was disappointing.

Still, as a result, it was the most well-resolved, and it was the Na Yu-jin route where I could enjoy the ending with a relieved feeling!

 The next heroine I played was the Han Ji-ah route.

The Ji-ah route was really fun to play because it went as I expected Ji-ah's personality to be.

In the case of Ah-yoon or Yu-jin noona, they are very calm and composed, so Ji-ah stands out especially, and I liked her 과격한 expressions and recent 드립s. 

It was fun to watch because she and the main character had good 티키타카 even while 데이트ing, and in the common episode, I always enjoyed the common episode where Ji-ah appears the most because there was the fun of seeing Ah-yoon's reaction or seeing Ji-ah 플러팅 in front of Ah-yoon.

I was wondering if Ji-ah's reaction would be the same at the last time, since her reaction was 열 받으면서도 귀여운 when I made the first or second choice.

 She was the most fun heroine, but I was quite disappointed because the ending had the most to say among the three. 

After Ji-ah's last choice, a lot of problems occur after her father comes to find her, but I really liked the story up to the point where she goes down to her hometown for the sake of the team and the main character, and I persuade Ji-ah, who seems to have given up, and try to bring her back. I feel like that was the best thing to do from Ji-ah's point of view. 

Then, when I brought Ji-ah and arrived in front of some unknown building, I initially predicted that it was to move to a 나성한 숙소 to avoid Ji-ah's father, who was the biggest problem.

It was unexpected that it was a surprise fan signing event, but I thought it was good because it was also a factor that reminded me of the excitement about Ji-ah's novel again. In addition, it was an announcement that was like Ji-ah's personality to reveal her husband in a surprise, so I know that Ji-ah regained her vitality because of this,

In the end, Ji-ah didn't eat for 3 days and was so 틀어박혀 that she was about to have a mental breakdown that would have been longer if the main character hadn't contacted her directly and gone to her, and she was about to go to her mother's house, where she didn't get along well, and even give up on the main character, but I was quite disappointed that there was no solution to her father in the end.

 Lastly, I played the Seong Ah-yoon route, who I liked more and more as I watched it for the first time and as I watched the story.

In a  game where you have to choose a lover first, she came with the fraudulent tag of 소꿉친구 and added the 멘헤라 concept, so I think she is a character that people who like it can't help but like.

Ah-yoon's route was actually the character I was most curious about what kind of reaction she would have at the first or second choice.

데이트ing with the main character wasn't much different from what I expected, but I really liked the scene where she smiled purely while thinking about the old days in the shade during the first 데이트, and the CG that came out with the sunset at the library during the second 데이트 was so good that I thought it was the best one among My Favorite Girlfriends Are Thrice Divided, and I was 설렜습니다. Ah-yoon is the most destructive because Ah-yoon herself is a combination of her feelings for the main character and her 소꿉친구 position, as she checks the other heroines the most even in the common episode.

 Ah-yoon's route ending was good about halfway among the three, but there were some big disappointing parts.

The biggest disappointing part was that it was difficult to understand the reason why Ah-yoon gave up her dream and switched to being a web novel writer.

It was said that her parents were always absent when she was young, so she followed the main character around, but I was disappointed that there weren't many past stories that were revealed accordingly.

I thought it would have been nice if they had talked more about Ah-yoon's condition and psychology after 갈라지고 in the past, as befits her 소꿉친구 position, but I was so disappointed that there wasn't much content related to the past.

Still, after the last choice, I was really 감탄ed by the voice actor's performance along with the CG at the peak of the conflict with  Ah-yoon!

 If I had said the good parts comprehensively at the beginning, there were three big disappointing points.

The first is that the episode after the last choice was long, but I was disappointed that there wasn't much of a 꽁냥거리는 part after the incident was resolved. 

I wanted to enjoy the lingering feeling for the last time while watching the 꽁냥거리는 scene, but I was disappointed that there wasn't much of it ㅠㅠ

I wish there was an after story like DLC.

The second is that I was disappointed that there were a little bit few CGs.

If you increase one specific heroine, you have to increase the other heroines as well, so the amount of work will increase a bit, but when you look at the total amount of CGs, it feels a bit small. Personally, I had a hope that they would add one or two more per heroine. I remember that Ji-ah was a standing illustration right before the ending credits came out, but I would have liked it if they had finished it with a CG.

The third is that I may have missed it while watching, but I was disappointed that the exact reason why each of the heroines chose a person named 나성한납시호 didn't come out. I guess Ji-ah chose it because she looks at a lot of comments and gets strength and ideas from there, but I don't know the exact reason for the others, so I wish they had revealed it at the end of the heroines' routes.

 

 In conclusion, there were many disappointing points, but I actually enjoyed the game itself so much that I'm writing this long review for the first time. 

The voice actors' performances were so excellent that I enjoyed it throughout the play, and I liked the CGs because they were so pretty and the characters were so attractive even in terms of concept and 캐디.

It must have been difficult to make three heroines, but the story was higher than expected to the point that I liked all of them without missing a single one, and I think I enjoyed and laughed the most among the games I've played recently.

As a side note, Dear My Editor, which was the previous work of the My Favorite Girlfriends Are Thrice Divided production company, is also one of the games I really enjoyed. I'm satisfied with both games I've released, so I'm looking forward to more games!

I don't know if anyone has read this far, but as I said at the beginning, there may be wrong information or I may have said that I was disappointed in a part that I missed. So, you can just read it roughly and skip it because it's just an ordinary user's thoughts that I've said as I please!

It's amazing.

To be honest, it's really great for newbies or returning players.

I think it's too easy to reach 1700.

More than anything, I felt a bit more comfortable because the single mode was added.

They give a lot of materials and a lot of bound gold,

so I didn't feel much pressure to level up.

However, the disappointing thing is...

I think there are always too many gems that come in after the jumping in Super Mokoko Express every time.

Well, I'm someone who has been playing continuously, so I can throw away what I need to throw away and keep what I need to keep,

but for newbies or returning players...

honestly, they might not know, but the item inventory is full and piled up,

So, at the end of the balance patch, it was said that outdated class care would be included,

but is it "wait" again...?

The balance patch was so-so.

텔링 라이즈는 스토리텔링의 귀재다. 극중 캐릭터들이 보여주는 모든 미소, 키스, 거짓말 하나하나가 그들에 대한 의미심장한 정보를 드러내고, 그들의 삶이 서로 엮이는 과정을 보여준다. 얼핏 보면 중요하지 않은 대사들 역시 서로 연결되어 중요한 단서가 된다. 이 게임은 개발자인 Sam Barlow의 전작인 허 스토리와 비슷한 구조를 따라가는데, 수많은 비디오 클립들이 담겨 있는 데이터베이스 속에서 맥락 없이 뒤섞인 비디오들을 보고 단서를 찾아 가는 형식이다. 하지만 텔링 라이즈는 모든 면에서 전작보다 크고, 더 발전했다.


배우들의 뛰어난 연기 덕에 4명의 메인 캐릭터들은 마치 실제 인물처럼 생생하게 느껴지고, 각각의 영상 조각은 모두 새로운 플롯으로 이어지는 문이 된다. 예를 들자면 한 클립에서는 가장 자주 나오는 주인공, 데이빗이 침대에 누워 어떤 여성과 이야기하는 장면이 나오지만, 그들의 대화는 온갖 비밀과 숨겨진 플롯으로 채워져 있다. 그런가 하면 다음 영상에는 환경 단체가 시위를 계획하는 장면이 나오는데, 이전 영상을 유심히 봤다면 그것이 중요한 내용이라는 것을 유추할 수 있다. 아무 실마리나 찾아 따라가다 보면 수수께끼의 실타래는 서서히 풀려가고, 하나의 실타래를 다 풀어내 그것이 전체 스토리에 어떻게 맞아떨어지는지 알 수 있을 때까지 도저히 놓을 수 없었다.



이유는 밝혀지지 않지만, 당신은 한 아파트에 앉아 노트북으로 NSA 감시카메라 데이터베이스에 접근해 영상을 보고 있는 한 여성이 되어 플레이하게 된다. 키워드를 검색하면 날짜순으로 정렬된 클립들을 찾을 수 있다. “사랑” 과 같이 추상적인 단어를 검색하면 34개의 영상이 나오지만, 데이터베이스의 시스템 때문에 가장 최근에 찍힌 5개의 클립까지만 볼 수 있다. 계속해서 영상을 찾아보며, 플레이어는 점점 특정한 주제에 집중해 키워드를 선정하고 검색해 정말 흥미로운 부분을 찾아낼 수 있다.  


플레이어는 Kerry Bishé가 연기한 간호사 엠마, Alexandra Shipp (X-Men Apocalypse) 가 연기한 환경 운동가 아바, Angela Sarafyan (Westworld) 가 연기한 웹캠 모델 미쉘, 그리고 수수께끼에 싸인 데이빗 역의 Logan Marshall-Green (Spider-Man: Homecoming). 까지, 네 명의 인물들의 삶이 서로 엮이는 과정을 따라가게 된다. 이들의 삶이 어떻게 이어지는지를 찾아내는 것이 바로 텔링 라이즈의 가장 재미있는 부분이기 때문에, 이 이상 얘기하면 스포일러가 될 테니 말을 아껴야 하겠다. 단순하게 시작하지만 놀라울 정도로 어둡고 뒤틀린 이야기로 변해가며, 새로 발견하는 스토리라인 하나하나마다 앨리스의 토끼 구멍에 뛰어드는 듯한 흥미로움을 제공한다.


영상을 클릭하고 드래그해서 재생속도를 늘리거나 줄일 수 있는데, 처음 볼 때 놓쳤던 작은 단서까지 찾아내기 위해 봤던 영상을 몇 번이고 재생하면서, 꼭 사건을 수사 중인 형사가 된 것 같은 기분이 들어 재미있었다.


배우들의 연기는 내가 여태까지 본 비디오게임 중 가장 훌륭하다고 해도 과언이 아니다.


“배우들의 연기는 내가 여태까지 본 비디오게임 중 가장 훌륭하다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 텔링 라이즈의 스크립트는 게임의 포맷에 맞게 검색에 최적화된 형태로 디자인되었음에도 불구하고, 배우들의 대사 중 부자연스럽거나 작위적인 부분이 느껴지지 않는다는 것 역시 놀라운 부분이다. 사랑하는 사람과 통화하며 오열할 때도, 심지어는 폰 섹스를 할 때조차도 배우들의 훌륭한 연기 덕에 대사 한 줄 한 줄의 무게를 느낄 수 있었다. 나는 가끔 상황에서 벌어지는 감정에 휩쓸려 어쩔 줄 몰랐고, 종종 원래 하려던 것이 무엇이었는지 잊어버리기까지 했다. 아바를 플레이한 배우, Shipp은 특히 대단하다. 호감 가며, 비극적이고, 입체적이기까지 하다.




스토리 역시 훌륭한 연기에 뒤지지 않는 퀄리티를 보여준다. 데이빗이 딸에게 동화를 읽어 주는 장면에서 특히나 볼 수 있듯이 말이다. 인물이 입 밖으로 뱉는 것과 그러지 않는 것들 모두 항상 깊은 의미를 가지고 있다. 두 사람 간의 대화는 별도의 클립으로 분해되어 한 번에 한 사람의 소리만 들을 수 있다. 스크립트가 이런 식으로 작성된 이유는, 플레이어로 하여금 열심히 생각해 보면 데이터베이스에 있던 같은 대화의 다른 시점을 찍은 영상을 떠올리고, 퍼즐 조각을 맞출 수 있도록 하기 때문이다. 아주 영리한 방법이다.


처음에는 두서없이 진행되던 플롯이 갑자기 돌변하는 것도 마음에 들었다. 어떤 클립은 5분짜리 독백인가 하면, 다른 클립은 30초짜리 말싸움이기도 하다. 인물들의 표정과 동작 역시 이런 대화에 문맥을 부여한다. 총을 쏘는 장면, 시위, 파티, 싸움 등이 화면에 나타나고, 이런 핵심 사건들을 주축으로 해 플레이어는 사건들의 전후관계를 유추할 수 있다. 단순히 노트북 웹캠으로 찍은 영상에서 잔뜩 흔들리는 손으로 찍은 영상, 보트 안, 침실, 텐트, 차 안, 그리고 마을 회관 등 영상의 종류와 배경은 각양각색이다. 이렇듯 다양한 영상들은 거의 6시간에 달하는 플레이타임동안 긴장의 끈을 놓지 못하게 만들었다.

   

게임 내에서 플레이어는 계속해서 타임라인의 앞뒤로 왔다갔다 하며 사건을 바라보게 되는데, 이는 전반적 플롯에 미완성인 듯한, 그렇기에 인간적인 느낌을 불어넣는다. 몇몇 게임들이 그렇듯이 정돈은 덜 되었지만, 그 대신 뒤에 일어날 일을 예측할 수 없는 류의 스토리였다. 절대 플레이어를 재촉하는 느낌을 주지 않는다는 점과ㅡ, “허 스토리” 와 다르게 여태까지 본 클립이 전체의 몇 퍼센트인지, 얼마나 남았는지도 보여주지 않는 것이 마음에 들었다. 플레이어는 어떤 일이 일어나게 될지 모르는 상태로 사이드 플롯을 따라가며, 메모나 중요해 보이는 단어를 몇 개 정도 적을 뿐이다, 혹은 그게 싫다면, 그냥 엔딩을 향해 달려갈 수도 있을 것이다.


허 스토리와 마찬가지로, 매 회차 플레이가 다르게 느껴지기도 한다. 주인공은 노트북으로 뭔가를 조사하는 수수께끼의 여성이지만, 주인공의 집에서 들리는 배경 소음과 주인공이 타자를 치는 타각타각 소리는 마치 나 자신이 주인공이 된 것 같은 몰입감을 주었다. 당신이 어떤 루트를 타서 엔딩으로 가느냐에 따라 당신의 관점은 바뀌고, 정확히 그 순서대로 이 이야기를 즐긴 사람은 아마 세상에 당신 하나뿐일 것이라는 사실은 마치 마법처럼 느껴지기도 한다. 


유일한 불만은 때때로 삐걱대는 UI다.


이 게임에 내한 내 유일한 불만은 때때로 삐걱대는 UI다. 작지만 지속적으로 신경쓰이는 것들인데, 예를 들면 노트북 안에 있는 메모장 앱에 타이핑을 할 때 자동으로 내 커서가 있는 곳으로 스크롤해 주지 않는다던가 하는 것들 말이다. 페이지 아래쪽까지 타이핑하려면 일일이 스크롤바를 마우스로 드래그해서 끌어 줘야 하는데, 이건 꽤 짜증나는 일이었고 심지어 커서 위치에 버그까지 일어나는 것을 발견했다. 게다가, 영상 플레이어는 항상 풀스크린 모드로만 볼 수 있어서 최소화시키거나 창을 작게 만들어 메모장을 같이 켜 놓을 수가 없다.



게다가 비디오를 어디까지 봤는지도 저장해 주지 않기 때문에 한 비디오를 보다가 닫고 메모를 하고, 다시 켜면 영상의 시작점으로 돌아가 있다. 다시 말하면, 실제 종이와 펜을 옆에 갖다 놓고 메모하는 대신 게임 내의 메모장 앱을 쓸 이유가 아예 없다는 것인데, 이 때문에 몰입이 깨진다. 나중에 보기 위해 비디오 클립에 태그를 다는 것도 고역인데, 비디오 플레이어 안에서 태그를 생성할 수가 없기 때문이다. 일단 클립을 북마크하고, 닫은 다음, 데이터베이스를 열어서, 북마크 목록에서 클립을 찾고, 태그 메뉴를 열어서 영상에 태그를 붙여야 한다. 도저히 이런 귀찮은 과정을 거칠 이유가 없다.오래된 경찰청 컴퓨터 시스템을 뒤진다는 설정을 갖고 있었던 허 스토리의 경우, 이런 불편함은 어느 정도 납득할 수 있었다. 하지만 현대적인 아파트에 앉아서 노트북을 사용하고 있다는 설정 속에서는, 이런 불편함은 어색하게 느껴졌고 가끔은 스토리 전반의 흐름을 해치기도 했다.


하지만 그 대상이 되는 스토리 자체는 UI 문제를 기꺼이 참아 줄 수 있을 만큼 충분히 대담하다. 첫 플레이를 끝내는 데에는 4시간도 채 걸리지 않았지만, 내가 미처 보지 못한 두 시간 분량의 영상이 아직 남아있다는 것을 알게 되자 더 많은 사실을 알아내기 위해 다시 게임을 켤 수밖에는 없었다. 이제 나는 데이터베이스에 있는 거의 모든 영상을 다 보았고, 모든 등장인물들의 배경 이야기, 그들의 목적, 그리고 그들이 해야만 했던 거짓말에 매료되었다.


결론

텔링 라이즈는 한 번 클리어한 이후에도 계속해서 새로운 것을 보여주는 깊고 풍부한 이야기이다. 게임 속 짧은 동영상 클립 하나하나에 숨겨진 의미가 있고, 탄탄한 서브플롯 덕분에 다음에 어떤 것을 해야 하는지 알아내는 일이 항상 보람차다. 실마리 하나를 잡고 한 번 따라가기 시작하면 멈추기가 힘들다. 따라가면 따라갈수록 메인 플롯과 스토리가 연결되기 때문이다. UI 때문에 씨름해야 할 때도 있었지만, 이 재능 넘치는 배우들이 복잡한 스토리에 생명을 불어넣는 과정을 보기 위해서라면 기꺼이 감수할 만 했다.
