Adjust the auto-range to 3 meters, increase defense, and increase attack power.
Otherwise, the Warrior will disappear from this game .
7월 31일이지만 이제 곧 8월이 되니까 8월로 치고 이번에 새로 올라온 데모 3종을 소개해보려 합니다. 셋 다 엔딩은 보지 못했기에 제가 미처 파악하지 못한 점이 있음을 미리 적어 둡니다.
아시
장르 : 플랫포머(슈퍼마리오 계열)
난이도 : 매우 높음
특징 : 고려&조선 시대를 연상시키는 배경과 이야기
<친구들과 숨바꼭질을 하던 아시는>
<나무 상자에서 자다가 다른 세계로 넘어갑니다.>
<그리고 귀신이 쫓아옵니다.>
아시는 하드코어 매운맛 플랫포머를 지향한 게임으로서 높은 난이도와 고려&조선 시대를 연상시키는 상당히 토속적인 느낌을 살린 배경이 특징입니다.
이 게임은 귀 귀신이 아시를 쫓아오고 특수한 구슬의 힘을 이용하여 길을 막는 장애물들을 지나서 다른 구슬 5개를 모으는 과정을 그리고 있습니다.
배경과 구슬의 힘을 이용하여 나타났다 사라지는 발판을 이용하는 퍼즐 등은 괜찮았다고 생각합니다. 하지만 난이도가 너무 높습니다. 어느 정도 조작법에 익숙해지면 시간차를 이용해서 지나야 하는 구간이 많습니다.
그리고 한 번이라도 실수하면 처음부터 다시 해야 하는 구간이 정말 많습니다. 높은 난이도를 지향했다고 하지만 게임이 익숙해지기 전에 너무 높은 난이도를 요구하는 게 아닐까 합니다.
<특징은 난이도가 매우 높습니다.>
예를 들어서 아래의 퍼즐은 구슬의 힘을 발동 시킬 때 거북이가 움직인 다는 점을 이용해서 거북이를 타고 이동해야 하는데 등껍질에 가시가 있는 거북이와 부딪히면 안 됩니다.
그리고 가시 달린 거북이가 반대편으로 가면 그냥 거북이가 위로 올라가니까 적당한 타이밍에 점프를 해야 그냥 거북이 위에 올라탈 수 있습니다.
그리고 발판을 지나서 다시 두 번째 거북이에 올라타야 합니다. 발판으로 갔다가 세 번째 거북이에 타서... 중간에 조금만 실수해도 다시 시작해야 합니다.
그리고 구슬의 사용에는 시간제한도 있어서 구슬의 힘이 다하면 귀신에게 잡아먹힙니다.
개인적으로 고전 플랫포머를 연상시키는 난이도는 요즘은 별로 안 좋아하는데 게임 난이도를 너무 높인 게 아닐까 합니다. 난이도를 세분화 시키고, 퍼즐 풀이 방식을 다양화 시키는 변화가 필요하지 않을까 합니다.

장르 : 어드벤처(고전 젤다의 전설 비슷)
난이도 : 보통
특징 : 적당한 난이도의 퍼즐과 전투가 반복되는 구성
대충 의미를 본다면 겨울 이야기 정도? 이런 의미가 되지 않을까 하네요 요정들의 지하 도시에서 눈을 뜬 주인공이 도시의 비밀을 풀고 도시를 벗어나 떠나는 모험을 그린 이야기입니다.
주인공을 알 수 없는 누군가가 "의무를 회피하는 자"라고 하는데 무슨 의미인지는 메인 스토리가 풀려야 알 수 있을듯합니다.
게임상에서 요정들의 지하 도시는 괴물들의 습격을 받았고 살아남은 요정들이 전투 훈련을 받고 괴물들을 물리치려 했으나 실패한 것으로 보입니다. 어느 날 주인공이 깨어났고. 주인공은 레오나르도라는 작은 요정과 함께 도시 바깥으로 나가는 모험을 떠납니다.
적당한 난이도의 퍼즐과 적당한 난이도의 전투가 반복되고 새로운 퍼즐이나 능력을 얻을 때마다 이 능력들 활용하는 법을 익힐 수 있도록 디자인된 스테이지가 나오고 스테이지를 완료하면서 능력을 익히는 방식이라서 게임의 몰입도가 높습니다.
여러모로 2D 시절의 젤다의 전설이 생각나게 하는 디자인이고 게임이 젤다의 전설에 많은 영향을 받지 않았나 추측합니다.
2021 인디 크래프트 때 재미있어 보여서 찾아본 작품인데 여기서 발전된 모습으로 다시 보니 반갑네요 패배하면 패배하기 직전으로 돌아가서 다시 시작하기 때문에 큰 부담 없이 진행할 수 있을 것입니다.
데모를 하고 있으면 다음 이야기가 궁금해집니다.

나이트메어 더 루나틱
장르 : 액션 로그라이크(로그라이크 + 플랫포머 액션)
난이도 : 높음
특징: 속도감 있는 전투의 로그 라이트
나이트메어 더 루나틱은 우연히 자신의 꿈속 세계에 갇힌 주인공이 꿈속 세계에서 탈출하기 위해서 꿈속 세계를 어지럽히는 존재와 싸운다는 내용의 액션 로그라이크 게임입니다.
액션 로그라이크 게임의 정석적인 모습을 따르고 있기 때문에 이런류의 게임을 많이 해본 분은 익숙한 느낌이 들것입니다.
처음에 3개의 무기를 선택하고 3개의 무기를 상황에 따라서 바꿔가면서 싸우는 것이 특징으로 대시에 회피 판정이 있어서 대시를 이용하여 적의 공격을 무시할 수 있다는 특징 있죠
일반적인 액션 로그라이크와는 좀 달라서 처음에는 적응이 필요한데 어느 정도 익숙해지면 대시를 이용하여 스피디한 진행을 할 수 있습니다.
아직 데모 버전이기 때문에 맵과 몬스터가 많지는 않은듯합니다.
