Hello. The player is running late from work, so I've pushed back our appointment time and come here to post an update.

I have a rather poor aptitude for understanding or applying rules (the rules needed for TRPGs), so I'll keep my words to a minimum.

I do enjoy crafting stories and imagining characters, so I'd like to talk about that instead.

The agreement reached with the player is that this story is like the diary of a young child named Ren Akagi, who lives in Shiromeguri Prefecture (a fictional town) in Japan, a place where countless gods and spirits exist, though only a few can see them.

The world-building is occult-themed and has many related subcultures; as soon as I saw it, I thought of the manga "Kamisama Kiss".

In "Kamisama Kiss," the protagonist, a schoolgirl, takes over the role of a deity in place of the land god who left, and ends up falling in love with her guardian spirit, a fox yokai.

This scenario "The Path Beyond the Door," if you look closely, has a very different nuance, but it follows a similar theme where a god and a human become each other's only salvation.

In the forest on the outskirts of the village, there is an old, abandoned shrine where a land-bound spirit trapped in an old staff called a "Torii" lives. Once a god of doors long ago, he now has no power, and with people no longer visiting, Torii-sama himself cannot take a single step out of the "shrine that no one visits."

Torii-sama isn't a crybaby who weeps out of loneliness. This is a point where he differs from the land god in Kamisama Kiss. However, because he has been alone for so long, he is a being who has even forgotten how to imagine the outside world.

Like an old monk who guards a temple alone and sweeps the same courtyard every day, he keeps the door open for people who never come.

Then one day, the story's protagonist, Ren Akagi, passes through that door, and the connection between the two begins.

It's a lightning TRPG, and only one image is prepared.

The character sweeping here is Torii-sama. There is a large age gap with the protagonist... they are not a romantic interest. 

I brought in the OST from Natsume's Book of Friends and set it as background music using Cocofolia, a program commonly used for ORPGs (TRPGs played online).

I didn't feel the atmosphere matched perfectly, but as a GM, I have a major flaw—I'm tone-deaf and don't pay much attention to BGM, so I plan to proceed as is.

Of course, to avoid distracting the player, I will switch to instrumental tracks when we are doing RP (role-playing).

Well, the player who finished work an hour late says they will arrive at 9:05.

I usually play with my rest bonus filled, but because of the Azena's Blessing service, I had to do Chaos Dungeons and Guardian Raids every day even without the bonus.

I don't know what the actual probability of the Blessing Fragment is, but just in case, I decided to push through until the end while the service time remained.

I poured all the potions I had saved up from events and attendance into the Chaos Dungeons.

So, what about the Blessing Fragment?

It didn't drop.

I looked away for a moment and saw that my Dimension Shifter had reached 1712.

I thought about taking a break to look around, but oh! With this update, the avatars currently available for purchase in the shop for the Dimension Shifter are

none.

Permanent sales for Dimension Shifter are urgently needed.

Aside from the story, the content I enjoy most in Lost Ark is none other than Life Skills.

Back in the old days when Mabinogi was popular, I only did life skills (why did I find that fun back then?)

I don't know if that habit is still with me or if I just naturally like gathering and selling things.

Doing it for the satisfying clinking sound, I've reached max level in Mining before I knew it.

Now only Fishing and Excavating are left.

For Gate 1, even if you outgear it, you still have to perform the positioning mechanics and counter mechanics.

You can't finish Gate 2 immediately even if you outgear it.

You have to perform the mechanic where you acquire a weapon of the assigned color to land the final blow.

As I arrived in Yorn to perform the quest, the expiration messages for the other two blessing services followed...

Thanks to that, I diligently farmed farm cookies for 2 weeks.
