1. Issue where Gold cost and reinforcement materials are abnormally consumed during equipment reinforcement
→ We are currently investigating the cause of this issue and will provide further guidance on follow-up actions through this notice later.
2. Free Covenant Summon 20 times (5 days) item not being applied to some users
→ After the 4/23 (Thu) update, Free Covenant Summon for non-applied summon dates (1 day) will be collectively provided, and if the item is used multiple times, the summon duration will be extended instead of the summon count.
3. Issue where after purchasing a monthly subscription package before the 4/2 (Thu) package renewal and then purchasing another monthly subscription package after the renewal, the user cannot obtain 10x Fast Battle from the package components. → This issue is scheduled to be fixed with the 4/23 (Thu) update, and [Fast Battle 10x Recharge Item] that was not provided will be collectively sent to the mailbox after the update.
* If you already possess 20x Fast Battles, you cannot receive it from the mailbox, but you can normally obtain it when attempting to receive it from the mailbox after consuming the recharged Fast Battles.

We’ve added two highly requested features to the shop to help runs go more in your favor:
Locking Items: See a weapon you want but can’t afford yet? For a small price, you can now Lock items in the shop. This prevents them from disappearing between days or rerolls.Selling Items: You can now sell weapons or upgrades you already have equipped. Just click the new "Sell" button on the shop screen and select what you would like to sell.
QoL: Before & After Stats

컨트롤 오버(Control Over)는 살인 사건이 일어난 밀폐된 저택 안에서 기억을 잃은 채 깨어난 '플레이어'가 주인공으로 등장하는 비주얼 노벨 장르의 게임이다. 살인 사건의 진상을 파악하고 '플레이어'의 잃어버린 기억을 되찾기 위해서는 저택 곳곳을 꼼꼼히 조사하고 다른 캐릭터들간의 대화에 집중해야 한다. 게임 화면만 놓고 보면 방탈출 방식의 포인트 앤 클릭 게임같아 보일 수 있겠지만, 실제로는 조사와 수색, 그리고 아이템 활용으로 대표되는 퍼즐성 플레이의 비중이 현저히 떨어지는 대신 캐릭터들간의 대화와 대사 선택 등 텍스트의 비중이 매우 높아 비주얼 노벨 쪽에 훨씬 가까운 게임이라 할 수 있다. 한편 캐릭터 일러스트를 비롯한 게임의 그래픽은 그 퀄리티가 상당하며, 특유의 미스테리한 분위기를 배가시켜주는 배경음악 또한 무난하게 좋은 편이다.
밀실 속 통제의 역설. 컨트롤 오버(Control Over)
폐쇄된 저택 안을 이리저리 돌아다니며 여러 사물들을 조사하거나 다른 캐릭터들과 대화를 나누게 되는데, 이 과정에서 '플레이어'의 생각과 대사를 결정하기 위한 세 가지 선택지가 등장한다. 게임에는 이러한 선택의 순간이 꽤나 자주 등장하며 각 상황에서 플레이어의 선택이 쌓이고 쌓여 이후 '플레이어'의 성향이 결정된다. 모든 상황에서 각 성향을 담고 있는 번호가 항상 일정하게 고정돼있어 플레이어가 원하는 방향으로 '플레이어'의 성향을 이끌어나갈 수 있으며, 각 선택지의 내용과 더불어 선택지를 고른 뒤 나타나는 화면의 변화로 '플레이어'의 성향 변화를 쉽게 짐작할 수 있다. 조금 획일화된 감이 없잖아 있긴 하지만 각 선택지의 내용이 성향별로 일관된 양상을 보이는데다가 성향의 번호를 고정해 쉽게 원하는 성향을 이끌어나갈 수 있게 만든 점은 플레이어에 대한 배려가 돋보인다고 할 수 있을 것이다.
살짝 다른 관점에서 보자면, 선택지를 골라 '플레이어'의 성향을 결정짓는 게임플레이는 control over라는 게임의 제목처럼 '플레이어'를 플레이어가 원하는 방향으로 통제한다고도 볼 수 있다. (선택지를 고른 뒤 어김없이 등장하는 [플레이어의 생각이 통제되었다.]라는 메세지가 이를 명백히 증명한다.) 게임 전반에 걸쳐 통제라는 개념이 게임의 가장 큰 핵심으로 작용하는 만큼, 선택지를 통해 '플레이어'의 성향을 결정짓는 과정은 스토리적으로나 게임플레이적으로나 상당히 중요한 의미를 담고 있는 셈이다.
방탈출 게임처럼 생긴 것과는 다르게 퍼즐적인 요소는 거의 없다. 대신 텍스트의 비중이 매우 높다.
각 성향별로 번호가 고정돼있어 쉽게 성향을 이끌어나갈 수 있다.
덕분에 게임을 주도적으로 이끌어나간다는 느낌 하나만큼은 제대로 받게된다.
비단 통제라는 개념 뿐만 아니라 컨트롤 오버에는 함축적인 의미를 담고 있는 요소들이 정말 많다. 당장 주인공으로 등장하는 '플레이어'를 비롯해 교수, 배우, 그녀, 소녀 같은 등장인물들의 이름만 봐도 그러하다. 특히나 '플레이어'와 교수, 배우는 그 이름에 걸맞는 언행과 행적을 보여주며 각자의 개성을 명확히 드러내고 개연성을 확보하는 등 그 이름값을 톡톡히 해낸다. 그 밖에 게임 내내 지겨울 정도로 등장하는 통제와 규율이라는 개념은 스토리 전반에 걸쳐 핵심적인 의미를 담고 있다.
그렇게 몇 가지 주요 단어에 많은 의미가 압축되어 있는 컨트롤 오버의 스토리는 높은 몰입을 유도하며 좋은 짜임새를 보여준다. '플레이어'의 기억 상실과 의문의 살인 사건에서 시작되는 이야기는 여러 복선과 떡밥이 끊임없이 제시되면서 이야기에 대한 의문을 증폭시키고 긴장감을 유지한다. 그러다가 '플레이어'의 성향이 어느 정도 자리가 잡힐 때 쯤 초반에 제시됐던 복선과 떡밥이 하나둘씩 풀리며 사건의 진상이 조금씩 드러난다. 그리고 모든 진실이 밝혀진 후반으로 접어들면서 막힌 둑이 터지듯 이야기가 급물살을 타며 격정적인 흐름을 보여준다. 온갖 암시와 은유로 가득한 게임이다보니 호불호는 어느 정도 갈리겠지만, 많은 의미를 담고 있는 대사와 연출, 그리고 결말에 대해서는 깊게 고민해 볼 만한 여지가 많다. 게임의 핵심이 되는 통제와 규율이라는 단어가 지닌 진정한 의미에 대해서는 게임을 마친 뒤에도 명확한 해답이 나오긴 어렵겠지만, 최소한 앞뒤 맥락이 부드럽게 흘러가며 충분한 개연성을 확보하고 이것이 진한 몰입도로 이어지는 스토리의 완성도는 분명 뛰어난 구석이 있다고 평가할 수 있을 것이다.
온갖 떡밥과 복선이 정신없이 제시되는데, 결국 어찌저찌 회수는 다 된다.
'플레이어'라는 주인공의 이름에는 정말 많은 의미가 함축돼있다.
컨트롤 오버에는 '플레이어'의 세 가지 성향과 각 성향의 진척도에 따라 무려 여섯 가지 엔딩이 준비돼있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 2회차 이상 플레이로 여러 엔딩을 감상하는 것에 대한 의미나 가치가 그다지 크진 않다. 각 상황에서 다른 선택지를 골라 다른 성향으로 게임을 진행한다한들 지극히 일부 대사와 엔딩의 양상만 살짝 바뀔 뿐 이야기의 큰 줄기는 어느 엔딩이 됐건 동일하게 흘러가기 때문이다. 즉, 성향이 다르다고 해서 분기가 크게 갈리지도 않거니와 결말이 크게 달라지지도 않는 것이다. 이는 모양과 크기는 같은데 색깔만 다른 도형이라고 생각하면 이해가 한결 편할 것이다. 이렇듯 각 엔딩마다 차이가 크지 않다면 그만큼 여러 엔딩을 감상하는 것에 대한 가치도 떨어질 수 밖엔 없다.
게다가 여러 엔딩을 감상하기 위한 편의성도 조금 부족하다. 자동저장 이외에 저장 기능을 일절 지원하지 않아 다른 엔딩을 보려면 사실상 게임을 처음부터 다시 시작해야만 한다. 2회차부터는 스킵이 가능하긴 하지만, 원하는 만큼 대사를 빠르게 넘길 수 없어 스킵 기능이 조금 불완전하다. 게임 상의 모든 선택지가 '플레이어'의 성향을 결정짓는 데 중요한 역할을 하는 게임의 특성을 고려해본다면, 아마도 상황을 되돌릴 수 없으니 최대한 신중하게 게임을 진행하라는 개발자의 의도가 숨어있을 가능성이 높아 보인다. 그렇다 하더라도 2회차 플레이부터는 여러 엔딩을 효율적으로 감상할 수 있게끔 편의성을 확보했더라면 어땠을까 하는 아쉬움은 남는다.
아쉽게도 각 성향의 차이가 크게 두드러지진 못한다. 그래서 2회차 이상 플레이의 가치도 조금 떨어진다.
아무튼 곱씹어볼 만한 구석이 정말 많은 결말이다. 그만큼 호불호도 어느 정도 갈리겠지만,
비록 멀티 엔딩에 대한 대비는 조금 부족했을 지라도 컨트롤 오버는 충분히 준수한 모습을 보여준 비주얼 노벨 게임이라고 평가할 만하다. 밀실 속 살인 사건에서 '플레이어'의 진정한 정체로 자연스럽게 이어지는 스토리는 초중반에 정신 없이 밀려들어오는 복선 및 떡밥과 더불어 적절한 완급조절을 통해 게임의 긴장감을 적절히 유지한다. 여기에 주요 상황에서 선택지를 골라 '플레이어'의 성향을 결정짓는 게임플레이는 살짝 제한적이기는 해도 플레이어로 하여금 게임을 주도적으로 이끌어가게 만드는 역할을 잘 수행한다. 플레이타임이 조금 짧긴 해도 짜임새 있는 스토리를 보유한 게임이니만큼 비주얼 노벨 장르의 게임을 선호하는 이들에게 무난히 추천할 만한 게임이라 할 수 있겠다.
