The origin of Thomas the Tank Engine dates back to 1942 when Reverend Wilbert Awdry invented the stories to entertain his son, Christopher, who was sick in bed with measles. Awdry later carved a small wooden model of the engine, painted it blue, and officially introduced the character in print in the 1946 book Thomas the Tank Engine. Thomas the Tank Engine is a staple in the modern children's entertainment industry. Similarly, BTS Cooking On STOVE is a staple in the adolescent entertainment industry.
