Hello, this is Narrowdeep, the developer of Heretic Inquisitor Shepherd.
We've had a really busy month since the launch of the Tumblebuck crowdfunding and demo version on October 3rd.
We'd like to share our development progress so far.
October was a month of fixing bugs in the demo version, finishing Chapter 1, spurring on the development of Chapter 2, and
working on the English demo version in parallel.
The following is the detailed development status.
1. Bug fixes and stabilization of the demo version
Many people are playing the demo version and leaving reviews and bug reports.
Thank you so much.
Thanks to you, we were able to complete a relatively stable build with no major flaws in playing the demo version.
There are still minor bugs and fixes left, so we plan to fix them along with the English version update.
2. Chapter 1 Complete (and a little spoiler)
All work on Chapter 1 has been completed.
The demo version revealed about half of Chapter 1's judgment phase.
For those who are disappointed, we'll mosaic and slightly reveal some scenes that can only be found in certain branches of Chapter 1.
Please look forward to how this scene will unfold in the main game.

3. Chapter 2 Development Status
We are focusing on developing Chapter 2 immediately after the end of Chapter 1.
Art resources that will appear in Chapter 2 are in progress.
In particular, most of the character standing illustrations that will appear in the judgment stage have been completed.
Please look forward to new stories and characters.

New Play Experience We aim to give users fresh fun in each chapter.
To this end, in Chapter 2, we are focusing on working on new sub-game elements and side stories where you can get a glimpse of the hidden stories of the characters.
4. Solid Development Base
Most of the pivotal mechanisms of the game, which have been carefully crafted since the early stages of development, have been completed.
This means that the core framework of the game has been stably established,
and thanks to this, future chapter development and content addition work will proceed more quickly and smoothly.
We will unfold a richer story on a stable system.
5. Preparing for Global Release: Developing an English Demo Version
We are developing an English demo version to showcase Heretic Inquisitor Shepherd to more people.
We will be releasing the English demo version soon, and we will be receiving feedback from domestic and international users.
We will immediately fix and reflect the bugs and improvements reported through the demo version to further improve the completeness of the game.

뭔가 마구 어려운 게임인 것 같으면서도 플레이 방식 자체는 단순한 게임입니다.
간략하게 보자면 간단한 플렛포머 게임이라고 볼 수 있겠네요.
함정에 대한 기믹도 고양이 마리오랑은 비교도 안되게 쉽고, 그 외에는 시간차 컨트롤이 가능하면 충분히 진행이 가능합니다.
문제는 그 진행이 그렇게까지 쉽지 않다는 점 정도겠네요.

영상은 처음으로 편집해 봤는데 이래저래 만져보다가 지쳐서 짤막하게 만들어보았습니다. (편집...어렵더군요 ㅡㅠ)
이틀 동안 5시간, 4시간 해서 총 9시간 정도 플레이 한 것 같은데 바위가 나오는 부분까지 간 게 최고입니다.
클리어는...언젠가 하지 않을까 하는 막연한 기대만 품고 있습니다.
중간에 스피드런 공략 보고 따라해보겠다고 뻘짓하느라 시간과 목숨을 거나하게 내다버렸는데,
나중에 나름 진행 속도에 도움이 된 것 같아서 헛수고는 아니었던 것 같습니다.
초반에 발판 함정이 있는 부분에서 점프를 잘 하면 몇 단계는 건너갈 수 있는데, 이건 다양한 공략 영상에서도 많이 다뤄지더군요.
그 외에도 스피드런 하시는 분들의 영상을 보면 참고할 만한 게 많으니 유튜브 검색을 추천드립니다.
진행하면서 다양한 버그를 맞딱드리게 될텐데, 그냥 이런 게임이려니 하고 넘어가면 됩니다.
조작감은 생각보다 괜찮았습니다.
만약 숏컷 없이 정석대로 진행한다고 해도 조작감을 익혀나가면 차근차근 진행 가능하게끔 설계되어있습니다.
처음 보는 지역에서의 함정들은 한 번 쯤 몸소 맛보는 걸 추천드립니다.
도움이 될진 모르겠지만 진행하면서 얻은 경험을 바탕으로 간단하게 팁을 드리자면,
-점프 높이는 조절이 안 되지만, 체공시간 동안 조금씩 움직이는 것이 가능하기 때문에 이걸 이용해서 플랫폼을 뛰어다니면 됩니다.
-플레이어가 던진 닭은 움직이는 오브젝트로 인식되어 플레이어와 부딫히면 데미지가 들어옵니다. 그것도 강하게.
-움직이는 오브젝트는 잘못 닿으면 데미지가 들어옵니다. 그냥 움직이는 모든 것들은 데미지가 들어온다고 상정하시면 편합니다.
-물고기는 스치기만 해도 이펙트가 나오며 충격이 옵니다. 바닥에 누워있는 애라도 피하는 것이 좋습니다.
-닭은 던지면 포물선을 그리며 날아갑니다. 그리고 정 가운데로 날아가는 게 아니라 뭔가 미묘하게 플레이어의 움직임에 맞춰 옆으로 휘어서 날아갑니다. 때문에 풍선을 맞히고자 하신다면 옆으로 움직이지 않는 것이 좋을 것 같습니다.
-세이브 간판은 안 밟으면 계속 쌓입니다. 그리고 쌓여있는 간판은 막 여러 개를 밟지 않는 한 하나만 쓸 수도 있으니 시기 적절하게 활용하시면 좋습니다.
-어떤 구간은 생각보다 쉽게 넘어갈 수 있습니다. 약간 쉬어가는 느낌. 그런 구간 전후의 세이브는 아껴두면 좋습니다. 이 때 간판을 쌓아둡시다.
-간혹 부조리한 버그가 생길 때가 있는데(특히 낙법을 하다 공중에 멈춰 버릴 때), 간간히 한참 기다리면 풀리기도 합니다. 그 외에 즉사로 이어지는 버그들은 그냥 그러려니 하면 마음이 한 결 나아집니다. 아마.
-계속 죽는 것이 고통스러우실 땐 자연 풍경을 떠올리며 인간의 삶에 대해 한 번 쯤 생각을 해보시고 유튜브 공략을 찾아보시는 걸 추천드립니다.
공략 영상들을 보고 생각보다 쉽지 않을까 하는 안일한 생각으로 시작을 했었습니다.
제 손을 과신했던 까닭에 신나게 고통을 받고 있습니다.
동체시력, 신체 반응 속도가 빠르시거나 게임 메커니즘의 파악이 빠르신 분들은 어렵지 않게 깨실 것 같습니다.
