Fixed a bug that caused Japanese and Chinese fonts to break.

The reason I periodically polish my accessories is not for the journal material, but for the dopamine.

I did this often even before I started writing the LoA diary.

At that time, the prices for the break and the top were quite expensive.

In fact, the odds of making a profit were quite high.

It was a time when you could earn 50,000 goals just by pulling out the number of days left.

Assuming that pressing the accessory 3 times has a 14% chance of causing the interruption date to appear, it was a profitable business.

But now?

Since the depreciation has progressed quite a bit, if you press polish and the discontinuation date appears, there is nothing left.

It should be at least medium-low, medium-medium or higher, and even that is not expensive.

What does this mean?

When you press 3 times, you have to break through about 7% of the odds to make a profit.

Even then, the odds of making a big profit are extremely slim.

If it's 7%, then even if you just do a simple calculation, the expected value is close to 50,000 gold, right? (3 rounds of polishing is 3,600 gold, shards are separate)

It is currently advantageous to not polish accessories.

But I can't stand dopamine.

Where in LoA is there content that gives you an instant dopamine boost and even makes you money like polishing accessories?

Stones and bracelets also provide significant amounts of dopamine, but they cannot be sold and are too expensive.

But what about accessory polishing? You can sell them for gold.

The synagogue gold only costs 1200 gold.

However, if you press all three polishing buttons, a problem occurs.

Since the polishing pieces are not infinite, there are not many accessories that can be pressed.

It takes almost 400 pieces of accessories, so no matter how many pieces you collect, they will run out quickly.

So what have I developed?

Press the accessory once.

Except for the fact that the polishing was ruined, everything looks like the enlightenment points went from 3 to 5.

The LoA Accessory Polishing options that have already been released are not available in low/medium/high options.

The second polish is the same as subtracting 3 from the total options, the third polish is the same as subtracting 6 from the total options, etc.

Pressing all 3 polishes on one accessory will give you a much higher chance of getting a valid hit.

The way I do it is only for people who have lost a piece while polishing it.

If you want to get high on dopamine, this is a pretty decent(?) way.

이것은 공포게임인가 추리게임인가 미연시인가


노베나 디아볼로스는 공포게임과 추리게임, 미연시를 합쳐놓은 라이트노벨 형식의 다중엔딩 게임입니다


4명의 마물들 사이에서 한 명의 인간을 찾아 안개로 갖힌 마을을 함께 빠져나가는 것이 주된 내용으로, 

누가 인간인지는 랜덤으로 정해진다고 합니다


하지만 게임 진행 중 플레이어의 선택지에 따라 누가 인간이 될 지 영향을 주는 것으로 보이며, 그에 따라 자동저장만이 지원됩니다


이 자동저장 기능 때문에 플레이어는 일반적인 미연시 게임과 같이 원하는 방향으로 진행되지 않았을 경우에 세이브-로드를 할 수 없게 되지요


따라서 플레이어는 자연스럽게 신중히 게임을 진행하게 되고, 어느 정도의 공포 및 추리 요소와 잘 어울리는 것 같았습니다


해피엔딩을 위해 히로인들의 호감도를 관리하면서 동시에 살인현장과 마물에 대한 단서를 통해 인간을 찾아내는 진행 구조는 여러 장르를 잘 섞은 듯 합니다


자연스러운 시놉시스와 더빙 및 캐릭터별 스토리도 제 값을 한다고 생각했지요


그리고 본격적인 게임 진행에 앞선 친절한 튜토리얼과 스토리설명, 어렵지 않은 난이도도 이 게임의 큰 장점이라고 보입니다


특히 다회차를 기반으로 만들어진 게임이다 보니 내용이 알차다는 느낌이 들지요



그러나 단점 혹은 아쉬운 점이라고 한다면 여러 장르를 한 게임에 넣다 보니 각 요소가 어중간하게 나타난다고 느꼈습니다


살인사건에 긴장하다가 히로인들을 만나 고민상담을 해주면서 긴장이 풀어지면 다시 스릴러로 분위기를 바꾸는 형식이었죠


그러다보니 모든 장르가 소프트하게 잘 어우러져 있지만 개인적으로 어느 장르에 몰입해야 할 지는 모르겠더군요


심리적 불안을 이성에 대한 호감으로 착각하는 흔들다리 효과를 의도한 것이라면 납득할만 합니다


못생긴 여관주인의 말을 빌려서 전쟁 중에도 연애는 한다는 게 딱 맞지요


그러나 엔딩은 이성 간의 썸씽을 직접적으로 연출하기보다는 현실적인 열린 결말 느낌이었습니다


미연시라는 게 결말이 무조건 '이성을 사귐'으로 점철되는 현실의 연애 감각이 없는 오타쿠들이 하는 게임으로 보는 편견 때문에 허무하게 느껴졌을 수도 있겠지요


그렇다면 공포와 추리 쪽에 무게를 더 줄 수는 없었을까?


아무래도 히로인들과 대화하며 각 스토리를 이해하고 엔딩을 볼 히로인을 선택하는 메인 구조상 그렇게 된다면 정말로 이도저도 아니게 되었겠죠


결론을 말하자면 노베나 디아볼로스는 앞서 언급한 세 장르를 과하지 않게 섞어놓아 편하게 즐기기 좋은 게임이라고 볼 수 있겠습니다


반대로 어느 한 장르적 요소를 기대하고 플레이한다면 제대로 즐기지 못할 수도 있겠다고 개인적으로 생각합니다
