I took a leave of absence, so the concept of dates disappeared,

A4. 특별한 이유는 없습니다. 바이페드에 대한 아이디어는 NEXT Studios 소속 두 명의 게임 프로그래머가 Unity 엔진을 사용하여 물리 효과를 테스트하는 과정에서 얻게 되었습니다. 바이페드는 단순한 퍼즐 게임보다 물리 기반의 협동 게임에 가깝습니다. 여러분은 균형을 잡거나 던지는 능력에 도전하기 위해 널뛰기판, 롤러, 로프, 그리고 공을 사용하게 될 것입니다.
Q5. 2인용 퍼즐이다보니, 1인용 퍼즐을 제작하는 것과는 다른 고민이 있었을 것 같은데, 어떤 점을 가장 신경을 많이 쓰셨나요?
A5. 제가 고민한 것이 바로 그 부분입니다. 단순한 1인 플레이어 게임과는 다르게, 바이페드는 두 플레이어의 협동에 무게를 둔 게임입니다. 퍼즐을 구상하는 것 외에도, 저희는 두 플레이어의 상호작용에 더 많은 주의를 기울일 것입니다.먼저, 바이페드에 등장하는 퍼즐은 단순히 한 명의 플레이어가 두 배의 노력을 들인다 해서 풀 수 있는 것이 아닌, 캐릭터의 모든 행동이 서로에게 영향을 미친다는 것입니다. 예를 들어 널뛰기판은 한 캐릭터의 움직임이 다른 캐릭터에게 영향을 미칠 수 있다는 것을 가장 잘 보여주는 대표적인 경우입니다.이 외에도, 바이페드에서 플레이어는 캐릭터의 표현 아이콘을 사용하여 상호작용할 수 있습니다. 게임 패드의 버튼을 눌러서 여러분은 파트너에게 방금 이룩한 성과가 기쁘거나 가슴 아프다고 전달할 수 있으며, 만약 여러분이 도전을 이겨낸다면 소소한 축하 또한 표현할 수 있을 겁니다.

A6. 개발 기간은 약 2년 정도입니다. 아무리 오랜 시간이 지나더라도, 첫걸음을 내디뎠을 때의 일이 가장 기억에 남을 것 같습니다. 개발 초반에는 완전한 Ragdoll 애니메이션 기술을 적용하여 Sila와 Aku, 두 캐릭터는 팔과 다리를 모두 가지고 있었습니다. 하지만 캐릭터의 팔다리 모두를 컨트롤하기에는 너무 어렵다는 점을 발견했죠. 그리고, 짜잔! 팔을 없애고 두 발로 충분할 거라는 결론에 도달하게 되었습니다.
Q7. 향후 게임의 업데이트 계획이 있나요? 있으면 소개해주세요.
A7. 미래에 어떤 주요 업데이트를 하게 될지 확신하기엔 아직 너무 이릅니다. 하지만 언젠가 사람들이 스스로 레벨을 구축하여 다른 이들과 공유하여 플레이할 수 있는 워크숍 기능을 추가할 수 있는 날을 고대하고 있습니다.
