1. Issue where Gold cost and reinforcement materials are abnormally consumed during equipment reinforcement
→ We are currently investigating the cause of this issue and will provide further guidance on follow-up actions through this notice later.
2. Free Covenant Summon 20 times (5 days) item not being applied to some users
→ After the 4/23 (Thu) update, Free Covenant Summon for non-applied summon dates (1 day) will be collectively provided, and if the item is used multiple times, the summon duration will be extended instead of the summon count.
3. Issue where after purchasing a monthly subscription package before the 4/2 (Thu) package renewal and then purchasing another monthly subscription package after the renewal, the user cannot obtain 10x Fast Battle from the package components. → This issue is scheduled to be fixed with the 4/23 (Thu) update, and [Fast Battle 10x Recharge Item] that was not provided will be collectively sent to the mailbox after the update.
* If you already possess 20x Fast Battles, you cannot receive it from the mailbox, but you can normally obtain it when attempting to receive it from the mailbox after consuming the recharged Fast Battles.
4. Issue where coupons can be used multiple times

Locking Items: See a weapon you want but can’t afford yet? For a small price, you can now Lock items in the shop. ■ 햄스터담의 비하인드 스토리
햄스터담을 제작한 뮤즈게임즈는 뉴욕에 자리한 독립된 게임 개발 스튜디오다. 2010년부터 꾸준히 스팀과 앱스토어 등을 통해 다양한 플랫폼의 다양한 게임을 제작하고 있다. 작은 팀이기에 위험을 감수하며 창의적이면서 독특한 게임을 만들기 위해 노력하는 중이라고.
또한 개발자 전체가 모두 열정적인 게이머이기에 자신들 스스로 재미있어 할 수 있는 게임을 만드는 게 목표라고 한다. 자신들이 좋아하지 않는 게임을 다른 사람이 플레이하는 건 원하지 않기 때문. 재미있는 아이디어를 게임이라는 현실로 만들어내는 것뿐 아니라 유저들에게 좋은 서비스를 제공하기 위해서도 노력하고 있다고 한다.
■ 게임 주요 특징
햄스터담을 플레이하면서도, 그리고 종료 버튼을 누르고서도 도대체 이 게임의 장르가 무엇인지 한참 고민했다. 그리고 드디어 결론을 내렸다. 요망할 정도로 귀여운 햄스터가 나오는 이 정체불명의 게임은 격투게임의 탈을 쓴 리듬, 캐주얼게임이다.
진짜 신기하다. 물론 모든 스테이지, 모든 요소가 다 정체불명인 건 아니다. 일반 스테이지에서는 분명히 격투 게임의 느낌이 강하다. 적들과 투닥투닥 싸우고 있노라면 분명 일종의 격투게임이라는 데에 고개가 끄덕거려진다. 하지만 무려 '해바라기 씨'를 모을 수 있는 보너스 스테이지에서는 갑자기 캐주얼 플랫포머 게임이 되고, 게임의 하이라이트라고 볼 수 있는 보스 스테이지는 그야말로 리듬 및 캐주얼 및 격투가 싹 다 혼합되어서 나온다.
하다 보면 뭐 이런 게임이 다 있나 싶을 정도로 당황스러운데 또 이게 재밌다.
게임 플레이 방식은 마우스와 패드, 두 가지 선택지가 있다. 하지만 조작 방법도 그렇고 타격감도 그렇고 패드가 압도적으로 좋다. 패드 미 사용 시 공격을 마우스 클릭으로 하게 되는데, 이게 뭔가 격투게임의 느낌이 전혀 살지 않는다. 모니터 속 햄스터는 아주 격한 소리를 내며 격한 쿵푸 자세를 취하며 적들을 공격하는데, 정작 그 공격이 딸각 딸각 거리는 마우스 클릭으로 이루어지니까 느낌이 안 산다.
게임 자체가 단순해 보이지만 반격, 공격, 특정 타이밍마다 등장하는 특수 반격 등 컨트롤할 요소가 생각보다 많다. 그런데 마우스로 이 모든 걸 컨트롤 하려다 보니 내가 격투게임을 하고 있는 건지, 클리커 게임을 하고 있는 건지 정체성이 모호해진다.
하지만 패드가 있다면 완전히 달라진다. 갑자기 컨트롤하는 재미도, 타격감도 생긴다. 보통 PC로 나오는 게임들의 경우 패드는 필수가 아니라 선호의 차이인데, 이 게임에 한해서는 '필수'라고 자신 있게 말할 수 있다. 심지어 게임 시작 시 로딩 화면에서 패드를 추천한다는 문구가 당당히 등장할 정도니 말 다했다.
처음에도 언급했지만, 게임의 전체적인 장르는 분명 격투가 맞는 것 같다. 적의 반응에 맞춰서 반격을 하거나 공격 스타일을 바꾸는 등 기본적인 틀은 분명히 격투게임이다. 하지만 플레이 하다 보면 뭔가 리듬게임의 느낌도 많이 나는 편이다. 아니, 분명히 리듬게임의 요소가 들어가 있다.
일정 간격으로 공격 키를 누르면 '강력한 한방' 이라는 더 강한 공격이 들어간다거나, 정해진 타이밍마다 특정 키를 누르거나 하는 식으로 전투 중간 중간 리듬 게임과 같이 박자를 맞추는 플레이가 등장한다. 그렇다고 엄청 어렵진 않으니 리듬 게임을 잘 못하더라도 걱정할 필요는 없다.
이 게임의 가장 혼란하고 혼란한 부분은 바로 보스전이다. 보통 격투 게임의 보스전이라고 하면 더 어려운 패턴의 공격을 더 아픈 주먹으로 때리면서 심지어 자기는 잘 죽지도 않는 어마어마한 체력으로 무장한 그런 스테이지가 준비되어 있다. 그럼 햄스터담은?
분명 잘 죽지도 않는 어마어마한 체력으로 무장한 보스가 등장하긴 한다.근데 얘들이 격투 상대가 아니다. 아니 격투 상대로 인사할 수 있는 스테이지도 있다. 하지만 대다수의 보스 스테이지는 3방향으로 날아오는 폭탄을 피하다가 그 사이를 뚫고 같이 날아오는 햄스터를 다시 잡아서 던진다거나, 갑자기 횡스크롤 레이싱 게임이 되어서 깔리는 폭탄을 점프 슬라이드로 피하거나, 이 모든 게 싹 다 등장하기도 한다.
그래서 당황스럽다. 보스전 직전까지 분명 나는 격투게임을 하고 있었던 것 같은데 왜 갑자기 리듬 캐주얼 액션 레이싱 어쩌구 게임을 하고 있는 걸까 라는 생각이 마구마구 든다. 심지어 어렵다. 자비 없이 날아오는 폭탄을 피하면서 햄스터를 구출하고, 엇박으로 들이박는 오토바이를 피하면서 또 햄스터를 구출하고, 그러다 보면 한 대 맞고 두 대 맞고 결국 KO당한 나의 햄스터를 볼 수 있다.
■ 이 게임을 추천하는 이유
일단, 햄스터를 좋아한다면 당장 해보는 걸 추천한다. 햄스터를 좋아하는데 이 게임을 하지 않는다는 건 너무나 큰 손해다. 꼭 해보도록 하자. 그리고 귀여운 걸 좋아하는 사람도 역시나 반드시 꼭 해봐야 한다. 햄스터담의 주인공 '쿵푸 햄스터' 핌은 지금까지 만나본 모든 격투 게임의 플레이어블 캐릭터 중에 제일 귀여우니까!
햄스터담의 경우 정말 그래픽과 사운드가 서로 엄청난 시너지를 내는 게임이라고 볼 수 있다. 귀여운 햄스터의 거칠지만 어떻게 봐도 귀여운 액션에 심지어 귀여운 사운드까지 합쳐졌다. 적을 공격할 때마다 햄스터의 호잇 호잇하는 소리가 들려오는데 정말 상상 그 이상으로 귀엽다.
그렇다고 무작정 귀엽기만 한 게임은 아니다. 스테이지도 생각보다 많은 편이고, 챕터별로 새로운 공격 스타일이 추가되며 적들의 반격도 점점 강해진다. 여기에 다양한 효과를 지닌 '햄스터 전용' 의상도 존재하기에 열심히 해바라기 씨를 모아 구매하는 재미도 있다. 단, 의상을 구매하기 위해서는 어느 정도의 반복 플레이가 필요하다.
한가지 확실한건, 일반적인 대전 격투 게임을 플레이하고 싶다면 피해 가는 게 좋다. 귀여운 햄스터가 자기보다 큰 적들을 집어 던지고, 발차기를 하고, 어퍼컷을 날리는 등 하드한 액션을 보여주지만, 아무리 생각해도 순수 격투 게임이라고 보기는 힘들기 때문. 가장 큰 문제는 격투 요소가 너무 단순하고 반복적이라는 점이다. 게임 내에서 가장 어려운 콘텐츠인 보스전이 격투가 아닌 리듬 및 캐주얼 요소로 흘러가기에 집중하고 신경 쓸만한 격투 요소가 없다.
격투와 리듬과 캐주얼이 고루고루 섞인, 정말 골고루 섞인 독특하고 귀여운 게임 '햄스터담'은 스토브 인디 상점에서 구매할 수 있다.
게임제목이 햄스터담 보단 헴스테르담이 더 어울리지 않나 싶습니다.
