Hello, we are the indie game studio Geek House.
Our new game in development, "Convenience Store Survivors," is a Vampire Survivors-like game where you must fend off suspicious customers who swarm in every night while working the night shift at a convenience store.
Weapons include common items found in convenience stores such as cup noodles, ice cream, microwaves, and barcode scanners. The goal is to complete your own weapon combinations to annihilate enemies and clear all 6 locations scattered across the world.
The unique feature of this game is the story, where the ending changes based on the player's choices. You must choose whether to use the salary you receive after each shift to upgrade your stats and weapons to prepare for the next shift, or to pay off your debts to get closer to the truth.

초능력을 가진 인간 '스테퍼'가 존재하는 세상에서 이들과 관련된 사건을 해결하는 추리 어드벤처
좋았던 점
- 추리 과정 및 사건 전개가 매우 흥미롭다. 일단 '초능력'을 메인으로 한 게임이다 보니 사건의 발생이나 전개 과정에서 초능력의 특성을 파악하고 이를 활용하여 사건을 해결해나가는 과정이 매우 재밌었다. 또한 사건의 전개나 진상도 개인적으로는 예측하기 힘들 정도로 구조가 잘 짜여져 있으며, 나름의 반전 요소나 숨겨진 비밀 같은 요소도 잘 녹아 있어 말그대로 추리하는 재미가 매우 뛰어났다.
- 스토리 및 세계관이 매력적이다. 단순히 추리 게임이 아닌 주인공 및 주인공이 속한 소속팀과 인물들의 비밀, 초능력을 가진 사람들이 이 세계에서 겪는 차별, 복잡하면서도 입체적인 인물들관의 관계, 각종 떡밥 및 마지막 챕터에서 이를 회수하는 카타르시스까지 상당히 게임을 통해 전달되는 메시지도 긍정적이고, 인물들의 이야기도 흡입력 있게 다가왔으며, 스테퍼 세계관을 더 알고 싶어지는 요소들이 많아 인상적이었다.
- 추리가 틀릴 경우의 페널티도 없으며 힌트로 도움 받을 수 있는 편의적인 요소가 긍정적이다.
- 그 외 인물들의 일러스트나 개성이 마음에 들고, 게임의 분위기에 잘 어울리는 적절한 BGM도 몰입감을 높혔다.
아쉬운 점
- 스토브 버전의 경우 더빙이 없다. 가격은 스팀보다 싸나 몰입감을 중시한다면 더빙이 있는 쪽이 좋을지도
- 게임의 분기가 이상 엔딩과 진실 엔딩으로 나뉘는데, 진실 엔딩의 경우 힌트로도 해당 루트로 가는 단서를 얻을 수 없기에 난이도가 조금 있는 편이라 아쉬웠다.
- 게임 후반부에 떡밥 회수나 서사가 마구마구 쏟아지는데, 그 과정에서 몇몇 전개가 급하게 느껴지거나 뜬금없이 나온다는 인상이 들었다.
총평: 개인적으로 추리 게임계의 수작~명작 평을 주고 싶을 정도로 잘 만든 게임. 추리 짜임새나 논리 전개도 잘 구성했고, 세계관 구성이나 스토리 전개도 흥미롭게 잘 만들었다. <단간론파>나 <역전재판>을 재밌게 즐겼거나 비슷한 느낌의 게임을 찾는 유저들에게 매우 추천한다.
