Let me state my conclusion first:Excursion has ruined this game.
This mode appears to sell items that allow for save file modification, potentially accelerating a player's path to a perfect save, but that is not the case at all.
As seen from S3, 'God's Flash' will be added, meaning that in later versions, the number of God's Flashes will continue to increase, and some specific ones only appear in specific Gods (e.g., Combo, Treated as Shared Card, Start of Battle, Draw 1 Self Card, etc.).
A core for a random God's Flash requires 1000 Black Matter. After a half-hour run, you can only buy a dozen or so cores, and if you're unlucky, you won't even get the ones you need.
I spent time trying to roll a 'Treated as Shared Card, Draw 1 Shared Card' God's Flash,Note: just one.! I've already spent over 40 cores, and it still hasn't appeared. This makes me feel that this so-called save modification is a bottomless pit, and it will only get deeper with future version updates.
Let me say this: if Excursion isn't changed, this game will never become popular. The current grind-to-reward ratio is far too high. It would be better to delete Excursion and let everyone return to the era of farming saves from Chaos. At least back then, everyone knew a perfect save was nearly impossible and would settle for a usable one, unlike now, where everyone thinks an ideal save is feasible and wastes massive amounts of time on Excursion.

Since the launch of the Excursion mode, there has been a 'ban' slot that hasn't been used yet. Who knows if, in the future, they'll ban all the previously good characters just to force players to use new ones—I'm looking at you, Tenebria. Maybe next version, they'll just find some excuse like 'Due to excessive mental stress, Tenebria cannot participate in battle,' and ban Tenebria, who can carry a team of three, directly.
Setting aside the progression factors, Excursion itself is fun to play occasionally. But once it involves progression, where players have to repeatedly grind Excursion just to get a good save, what should be an entertaining mode turns into a repetitive chore. When a progression system is heavily tied to RNG, it's already a poison for a game. Furthermore, the Chaos Dream has multiple progression systems tied to luck.
