Yeah

Hello~! This is Gyu-na from the 3rd Stove Crew!!
Today, it's a game that everyone who went to art school must try at least once!!
(TMI, but I also went to art school)
Passpartout: The Starving Artist I've brought a review!
I've also prepared a video review,
so for those who prefer videos, check that out~!
And please check out the text review with me as well.
About the game
Experience the life of starving artists!
In Passpartout, you can experience the beautiful yet chaotic art world
from the perspective of a French artist.
Draw and sell artwork to sustain a life addicted to expensive wine and baguettes.
That's how it's introduced.
It's been out for a while, and I remember it being
very popular among streamers a few years ago!
I saw it on Stove and played it right away!!
It's a game where you have to draw pictures, sell them directly or through bargaining,
and make a living!
The playtime for one ending took about 3 hours,
and it has multiple endings,so depending on who you meet,it's divided into 5 endings!!It is said to be divided into 5 endings!!
I'll start by leaving a review for one ending~!!
I'll introduce the rest while looking at the gameplay screen!!
The start begins with drawing a picture!
You can draw by clicking on the canvas inside!!
I tested if it works with a tablet,
but it only works with a mouseunfortunately.
I'll draw the first picture simply!!
It's divided into 3 chapters,so in the first chapter,
you can put up a total of 3 pictures for sale!
You can alsodiscardpictures that don't sell.
I even drew a frog!!
There's a message at the top left saying you have to pay every time,
and it turns out it's the cost for buying baguettes and wine.
Money is precious for a starving artist, though.
As you draw and sell pictures, people who like specific colors and art styleswill come by!
will come by!
(If you target those people, you can make a decent profit!)
When a picture is sold, people look at it and offer a price first.
Looking at the price, you can press X to refuse, and you can refuse,
or press the scale to bargain!or press the scale to bargain!
(You can bargain up to 3 times)
It's important to read the room when bargaining.
Be careful, as they might even lower the price. ㅜㅠ
As I worked hard to draw and sell pictures,
I moved to a better studio!!
Now I can hang up to 4 pictures to sell, haha.
Characters appear here too,
and since the ending changes
depending on which character likes your work,
it's important to draw to their taste.
I tried drawing a stick figure too.
(That old man on the left keeps criticizing, so it's sad)
I caught the eye of a noblewoman,
so I tried to target her
with pictures she would like!!
After receiving a scout offer and coming to the tower,
I started drawing!
Here, I could only sell one picture at a time!
So I had to be more careful and draw well!!
I'll cover the ending-related story in the review!!
As someone who majored in art (design),
I often struggledbetween what I wanted to doand commercial viability.commercial viabilityon the boundary of
I had many worries.
I think I had the same experience
of worrying about the same thing here.
Above all,"The gaze looking at me is diverse"
is something I felt a lot.
Someone looks at the same picture,
and points out that my picture is monotonous,
or that there are too many colors,
but someone else looks at it
and praises me as the best artist.
(I think this was very similar to reality)
Even if it's not necessarily in the art field,
we all have worries in life, right?
Whose eyes to please, whether to follow my own path,
whether to cater to tastes,etc.
We live with many worries,
and by showing the results of those worriesthrough various endings,I felt it was a game that showed
more emotionmore emotionand reality.realityto
I felt it was a game that showed more emotion and reality.
If you are having these worries, I recommend you play it at least once.
play it at least once.
(I was really comforted while playing)
The message in the ending I saw
touched my heart the most!
It contains spoilers,
so if you are sensitive to them, please skip this part!!
Another thing I felt while watching the ending was
that the strength to get back up and do something even if you fall and fail
is the most important thing.
There are hard times in life, and there are times when things you aimed for don't go well.
Even so, if you don't give up and keep running even after falling,
you can achieve that dream someday.A message of support!!
It was a very moving game, haha.
My one-line review is
"Rather than just a simple drawing game, it's a game that captures the worries we have in life."life"

I have summarized and analyzed the behavioral principles of Seo Saeng-won, the main villain of the 'Godok Broadcasting' series.
It is strongly recommended that only those who have played or watched both parts 1 and 2 read this post.
(GPT helped me write this post.)
Alright. Based on the settings revealed so far, Seo Saeng-won is a quite unique type of villain in 《Godok Broadcasting》. He can be summarized as an entity who views not just a simple conqueror or murderer, but even the life and death of others as 'entertainment'.
Seo Saeng-won — Character Summary
1. Identity
Originally the chairman of the Baekdo Church.
In the past, he operated under the name 'Ghost-like', and when approaching Yuna, he used the name **'Ghost-Ramsey'**.
Essentially the entity behind various incidents that occurred in parts 1 and 2.
He has utilized the vengeful spirits tied to the Sincheoreom Mental Hospital he once ran, and the water park of Director Bae, who was loyal to him.
Escaped after fleeing from the giant carp in the final battle of 《Sim》.
And by eating Suji's fingernails, he became able to transform into Suji's appearance.
2. Seo Saeng-won's most important trait — Everything is entertainment
It is insufficient to simply define Seo Saeng-won as
> "a villain who wants to kill humans"
.
For him, survival and death are not even the goal.
Whether Yuna lives or dies,
whether Suji lives or dies,
whether someone sacrifices themselves,
or whether someone becomes a vengeful spirit,
if the process itself is fun, that is enough.
In other words,
> "Whether you live or die is not important. How fun the process is, is what matters."
A mindset close to this.
That is why there is a strangely observational aspect to Seo Saeng-won's evil deeds.
Rather than solving everything himself,
he likes to drive people into specific situations
and watch how they struggle.
3. Meticulous, but he doesn't plan everything
This part makes Seo Saeng-won even more interesting.
Seo Saeng-won is not an omniscient villain who perfectly plans every event from beginning to end.
Rather, it is closer to the method of
> observing people → finding weaknesses → discovering interesting possibilities → utilizing them
.
So he even enjoys it when the situation unfolds differently than expected.
He enjoys the process of things unfolding in unexpected directions rather than going according to plan.
This matches exactly with the expression you used:
> "a type that is malicious and meticulous, yet enjoys how things unfold"
.
4. Starting to play with Yuna
Seo Saeng-won plays a game with Yuna under the identity of Ghost-Ramsey.
After winning the game against Yuna,
he induces her to go to the Sincheoreom Mental Hospital he used to run as a penalty.
And he enjoys the situation itself where Yuna suffers there.
Here, Seo Saeng-won grasps Yuna's tendencies.
> Yuna has relatively poor judgment and is easily manipulated.
So he uses methods not only to push Yuna directly but also to use other people.
5. Rokkukeo the viewer
Rokkukeo from part 1 is also an important case.
Rokkukeo induces Yuna's actions by
making her stick the incense upside down,
making her remove the talisman,
and donating a large sum of money.
A viewer who gives strange advice on the surface, but is actually a person under Seo Saeng-won's influence.
In other words, Seo Saeng-won was able to put Yuna in danger
by using other ghosts as his hands and feet without appearing in front of Yuna himself.
This is a representative incident showing Seo Saeng-won's meticulousness.
6. And a new prey — Suji
Seo Saeng-won, who was playing with Yuna, discovers a new target named Suji while observing his surroundings.
Yuna introduces the 5 major haunted houses to Suji.
Excluding the places that exist in reality among them,
he talks about places in the work such as
Sincheoreom Mental Hospital
and Block Island.
Since Yuna has already visited Sincheoreom Mental Hospital, Suji posts a broadcast notice that she will go to Block Island among them.
At that moment, a new opportunity for entertainment arises for Seo Saeng-won.
> "Shall I play with her this time?"
And this time, instead of manipulating other ghosts,
he becomes a rat himself and torments Suji.
The result leads to the incident of 《Godok Broadcasting: Sim》.
---
7. Even the vengeful spirits are nothing but Seo Saeng-won's entertainment
Vengeful spirits remain in the places Seo Saeng-won was involved with in the past.
Sincheoreom Mental Hospital
The hospital he operated.
The spirits of those who died there exist.
Block Island
A place operated by Director Bae, who was loyal to him.
Vengeful spirits exist there as well.
In other words, Seo Saeng-won is an entity that has created environments where people die and vengeful spirits are born since the past.
And those vengeful spirits also have no special meaning to Seo Saeng-won.
Whether a person dies and becomes a ghost, or a ghost kills a person, the whole process is just an interesting spectacle to him.
Please let me know if there are any errors. I will correct the post.
