This Crew Day was not held at the existing Seo-hyeon office, but at the Smilegate Pangyo headquarters.It was held at.

The STOVE Crew is S Team / T Team / O Team / V Team / E Team composed of a total of 5 teams,
they carry out individual missions and team missions, andpresent the results atCrew Day.

"After playing a cooperative game, create a short-form video capturing the charm of the game!"

전체 이용가 게임이라 아무 생각 없이 했다 놀란 감고양이입니다.이번에 소개할 게임은 '멧챠 카멜레온(MECCHA CHAMELEON)'이라는 게임입니다. 이 게임을 알게 되고 플레이하게 된 계기는 유튜브 쇼츠를 보는데 이 게임을 플레이하는 영상이 자주 등장하였고 기존 숨바꼭질 게임과 달리 플레이어가 직접 그림을 그려 숨는다는 독창성 있는 게임성과 더불어 그것을 활용하여 유저들이 기발하게 숨어있는 장면을 보고 재밌어 보여 게임을 구매하고 다운로드해 플레이하게 되었습니다.
그럼 본격적으로 제 생각을 말하기 앞서 이 게임의 플레이 영상 먼저 보여드리도록 하겠습니다.

우선 게임은 재밌었습니다.

잘 숨고 재밌게 숨은 예시
기존 숨바꼭질류 게임들은 맵 안에 있는 사물들 중 무작위 혹은 원하는 사물로 변하여 그 사물이 있을 법한 장소에 서있는 형식으로 진행되었는데 이 게임은 기존에 있던 사물과 배경에 플레이어의 캐릭터가 어울리도록(녹아들 수 있도록) 캐릭터에 직접 그림을 그리는 형식으로 숨다 보니 기존 숨바꼭질류 게임들에선 못 느꼈던 새로움과 재미를 느낄 수 있었습니다.
창작 마당이 활성화되어있는 만큼 여러 테마의 맵이 준비되어 있어 질리기 어려운 구조로 되어있었습니다.
멀티플레이 게임 특성상 같은 맵/같은 규칙이라 할지라도 하는 사람이 다르다 보니 매번 다른 상황이 벌어져 또 다른 재미를 주었습니다.
거기에 조작 방법도 간단하여 어린아이라도 적응하기 쉬웠기에 누구에게나 추천할 수 있는 게임이라 생각했는데... 하면 할수록 여러 사람을 만날수록 어린아이와 방송인들에게 추천할 수 없는 게임이라 생각되었습니다.
제가 그렇게 생각하는 이 게임의 문제는 크게 3가지였습니다.
1. 숨바꼭질류 게임 특유의 단점
-직접 그림을 그리고 포즈를 바꿔 숨는다는 독창성을 갖고 있었지만 결국 구석에 눈에 잘 띄지 않는 색으로 칠한 채로 숨어있는 게 가장 오랫동안 살아남았습니다.
-물론 그렇게 숨어봤자 추천을 받을 수 없고 눈에 잘 띄는 곳에 숨어야 점수(놓친 것 랭킹)가 상승했지만 애초에 사람들이 추천 버튼을 잘 누르지도 않고, 추천을 받아봤자 머리 위에 👍숫자만 오르며, 점수의 경우 다음 판에 초기화되는 등 어렵게 그리고 위험하게 숨어봤자 성취감을 느끼기 어려운 구조로 게임이 만들어져 있었기에 게임이 진행될 수록 사람들이 재밌게 숨기보다는 다른 게임들처럼 그냥 안 보이는 곳에 전신을 어둡게 칠하고 숨었습니다.
2. 멀티플레이 게임 특유의 단점
-위에서 언급했다시피 이 게임은 멀티플레이 게임 특유의 장점을 갖고 있었지만 그와 동시에 단점 역시 그대로 가지고 왔습니다.
-술래가 되자마자 위의 사진처럼 잠수를 타거나 술래가 되었다고 반대로 자신이 술래가 되지 않았다고 나가는 사람이 있는가 하면, 소위 고의적 트롤링(다른 사람이 숨은 곳을 알려주는 등)을 하는 사람들 역시 존재했습니다.(베이직 모드의 경우 사람들이 어디에 숨어있는지 알 수 있습니다.)
-물론 그것에 대해 방장이 강퇴를 할 수 있지만 애초에 방장이 십수 명을 모두 다 확인하기 힘들고, 애초에 그런 기능이 있다는 것을 모르는 분들도 있어 술래가 잠수를 타거나 나가면 게임을 나가거나 무작정 기다려야 했습니다.(그마저도 방장이 트롤이면...)
가운데에 점이 있는 동그란 핑크색 공 2개와 검은색 청양고추가 그려져있어 모자이크 처리를 했습니다.
3. 이 게임 특유의 시스템에서 오는 단점
-이 게임을 하는 이유이자 이 게임 최고의 장점인 그림을 그리기 역시 문제가 있었습니다.
-이 게임은 자유롭게 캐릭터 위에 그림을 그려서 숨거나 돌아다닐 수 있는데 그림 그리기에 제약이 없다 보니 대놓고 성기를 그리고 활보하는 사람이 존재했습니다.(그밖에도 속옷을 그리거나 바니걸의상을 그리는 등 여러가지 어린애들이 보기에 안좋은 것들을 그리고 활보하는 사람들이 많습니다.)
-물론 방장이 강퇴를 할 수 있고 플레이어들도 다른 해당 유저를 신고를 할 수 있지만, 위에서 언급했다시피 방장이 모든 사람을 다 확인할 수 없고, 강퇴 기능을 모르는 경우가 존재하다 보니 방장이 확인하지 못한다면 저런 것이 계속 활보하는 것을 지켜봐야 했습니다.(신고를 한다 하더라도 바로 나가지는 것도 아니고 커뮤니티 반응을 보니 신고를 해도 대응을 제대로 않는다고 하더군요.)
-그러다 보니 방송을 하는 사람에게 있어서도 치명적이라 생각되었습니다. 혼자서 플레이를 할 수 없다 보니 같은 스트리머들끼리 하는 게 아닌 이상 시청자와 같이 플레이하게 될 텐데(혹은 공방에 가거나) 그때 위의 사진 속 플레이어처럼 19금 그림을 그리고 활보를 한다면 아무리 빠르게 확인하고 강퇴를 할지라도 방송에 해당 그림이 송출이 되다 보니 방송 자체가 위험해 질테니까요.(전체 이용가인 만큼 어린아이들도 플레이하는데 저래버리면...)
그 밖에도 문제점은 많았습니다.
수정했다곤 하지만 여전히 벽을 뚫는 버그, 튕기는 버그, 창작 모드에 있는 맵으로 게임을 반복해서 플레이하려 할 경우 게임이 제대로 진행 안되는 버그 등 여러 버그가 존재했으며, 공식맵 중(정확히는 백룸) 술래가 못 들어오는 무적 자리가 존재했고, 일부 번역의 어색하는 등 여러 문제점이 있었습니다.
마무리
마무리하겠습니다. 재밌는 게임이었지만 게임의 미래가 불안한 게임이었습니다. 이 게임의 특징인 자유롭게 그림을 그릴 수 있다는 점이 미성년자와 방송을 하는 사람들에게 있어 오히려 독이 될 수도 있었으니까요.
-추가-
위의 내용과 별개로 현재의 인기에는 거품이 껴 있다고 생각되었습니다. 물론 재밌는 것도 맞고 다른 게임들도 오픈 초기에 거품이 끼긴 하지만, 유튜브에 특이하게 숨는 사람들 위주로 영상이 올라오다 보니 실제로도 저런 재밌는 장면이 많이 나올 거라 기대하는 분들이 많은데 실질적으론 거의 없습니다.
애초에 사람들이 주로 플레이하는 감염모드의 경우 다른 사람들이 어떻게 숨었는지 술래가 되지 않는 이상 확인이 불가능하기에 유튜브에 올려져 있는 영상만큼의 재미는 실질적으로 느끼기 어려웠습니다.(애초에 위에서 말했다시피 실질적으론 구석에 어둡게 칠한 뒤 숨어있는 경우가 대부분이라...)

애들도 하는 게임에 그딴 해괴한 것들을 그려 놓다니.... 그런 인간들은 게임 내에서 온갖 별짓을 다 해야만 게임하는 재미가 비로소 생기나 봅니다.... 도무지 이해가 안 가는군요.
하는 사람이 잘못한거긴 하지만... 그걸 제대로 막지 못하는 제작자분들도 문제가 있더라고요.(신고해도 잡지 않느다고 하더군요.)
확실히 어몽어스나 구스구스덕 같은 경우에도 멀티방 들어가면 고의적 트롤이나 악성 닉네임 들이 많아서 플레이가 힘들었는데, 멧챠 카멜레온도 비슷한 상황이군요. 특히 그림을 그리는 게임이다 보니 더욱 정도가 심할 것 같네요. 주변 지인들이랑 플레이하는 용도로만 해야겠습니다.

재미가 있긴한데 세상에는 별의 별 사람이 있는 만큼 비교적 자주 그다지 안좋은 그림을 그리고 활보하는 사람이 있더라고요...
