For combat, you just need to avoid attacks like floor hazards or projectiles with dashes, and use basic attacks and skills!
It sounds easy when I say it, but it's actually hard to avoid the floor hazards, and while dashing to avoid them, I'd get hit by projectiles, and there's even homing floor hazards
It was... very, very tough... It was harder than I thought...
Do you see it disappearing as soon as the floor hazard appears?
Dashes also have stacks and cooldowns so if you just spam dash, you can never avoid them lol
If you don't dash at the exact right timing while walking around, you can't avoid the floor hazards, and
the floor hazards are so big that you often get hit even if you dash... 🥹

Assuming that the language for the weakening set adds 15% to the probability of a unit inflicting a debuff, I have made the following chart to share my initial impressions for which units it maybe be worth farming the new equipment set.
- 100% unlock means that the Weakening Set allows the unit to get to 100% debuff chance.
- BiS stands for (best-in-slot), meaning the equipment set has a good case to be the most useful for the character.
These are just first impressions, and mostly just for reference/your interest.

The extra turn set is good, I can think of many units that have benefit from it. Mostly heroes equipped with Torrent set + extra will change to this set.
The +15% set isn't that great because most debuffer need to go first so, loss 10% speed is hugh and farm new set with high SPD isn't funny. Mainly for PVE, tank debuffer and few heroes with CR push. . . maybe J.Kise will get another buff
That's a good quick rule with the torrent set comment.
It will be funny if JKise gets another buff. I personally think some of the specialty change characters might receive a buff (continuing from the trend we have seen with Lorina and Arowell). That is why I listed Jena and Pearlhorizon for the weakening set, but it's just my guess.
Imma say this... new sets look kinda bad... extra 15% looks good on paper giving 85% unit a 100% chance but the cost of it is the loss in speed. It's a 4 piece set, if it was a 2 piece it would be a better hit set in a way cuz you would play it in same slots you kinda play hit set, but as a 4 piece you play it on units that are happy to be 260 speed, so no openers, that wanna have 100% instead of 85% for consistency. the set itself doesnt make any unit better than it was before, so I dont think it's a best in slot on any relevant unit and especially not on units that need to be fast (brinerai, ran, fumyr etc).
Fervor set is more interesting, 20% damage on hit after extra turn helps TML cuz she is so gear intensive, in theory RAS would love it, but he kinda already one shots, but is a nice 2 piece to have for occasional units that can benefit from damage.
But I personally dont feel like this sets and super worth farming, I'd rather get a 22+ speed Speed set than random pieces of gear.
Outside of if RnL being designed to require these sets to function, I also think they cannot compare with speed set in terms of flexibility.
If it were a two piece most players would not care about the debuff part but rather overlapping the 15% speed with a 25% speed set bonus.
Debuffers that can afford to be slower (relative to your power level or rank) is likely the best target for this. ATywin, Pirate Flan, Blue Eda, Ocean Luluca, and maybe Festive Eda seem like the most direct fit. Yep, it’s a good point openers would have to give up being openers to use the set.
I think maybe having 2 or 3 fervor sets and maybe 1 or 2 weakening sets should be plenty for most people.
yea but to get those 17+ speed pieces it takes lots of farming... and I would drop those Leifs to farm speed set tbh... or destro set for dps units
its a fun extra set... maybe in next rift it could be worth picking fervor set as extra... immunity speed destro fervor or slot in a casual warfare cuz you have notes/hacate and you use em a lot... I dont have notos got one set for hacate and dipped out or warfare tbh... would be the same here... but when I was farming warfare I was farming riposte for setsuka spez fern etc... so it felt less bad..
Yeah, it's safer to go for speed and destro to build a foundation. I will just say this to be clear for others reading this post: I do not encourage farming these sets over speed and destro. Even more so for newer players. This post is only for the sake of discussion. The only exception to this is if we need these sets for future units to work (perhaps RnL).
What I will say though is that if I had to choose between Fevor and Weakening I would probably aim for completing some Fevor sets first.
If the chance can do past 100% then it effectively removes 15% from the game. Will it work that way? Probably not, it would be horrible if it did
I do not think this means removing 15% absolute resistance from the game. The description of the imprint circuit node that removes 15% absolute resistance is different compared to the set effect description. Unless there is some translation error, I am assuming that this just increases the chance that a unit has to land a debuff. So for example, if Festive Eda previously had a 85% chance to apply defense break, then she now has 100% chance to def break.
the one thing pointed out is weakening doesnt say hero skills just debuff chance +15% with the wording in mind does it work on artifacts aka abyssal crown 30% -> 45% chance to proc
Yes, I also think this should be the case, which makes artifacts like Magic Bubble Maker and Alabastron more interesting too.
