Hey,
when Sortie was introduced devs said its to provide alternate playstyle and help you with building decks. Great concept, I love. But the execution? I don't get it at all. Instead of lowering the RNG of the game, they introduced even more of it.
- the weirdest aspect is definitely that you can't chose your team. Thats insane in a game that is based on team synergy and the devs themselves said that team synergy is more important than power of individual characters. And what did they do then? Make you play with random characters against insanely overpowered monsters (at Sortie 30).
- the difficulty of Sortie its done the most lazy way possible. Just flat stat increase and random negative effects
- your characters are random, your cards are random, boss is random, equipment is random, events are random, there is a higher chance of winning the lottery than predicting what choices you'll be offered in the run which takes all the strategy aspect out of the game.
- you don't even get all the epiphanies for each character so the design for each combatants deck synergy won't come into play most of the time
- if you don't have a character leveled, or don't own her, not only you are punished by not knowing how to play her, you even get her at lvl 50. huh? why? why not max out all characters in Sortie?
- the 4th character forced pick? doesn't make sense that you can't decline
- there is also a chance your main dps character won't get a single class card offered the whole first act. good luck at the boss
- if the game won't offer you a healer in neither of the 6 picks, it still gives you warning about not being able to finish the run without a healer
- some of the new Fates are outright a curse which you don't want to pick and if you get the choice to get two rare fates later in the run, these fates can completely ruin your decks without a chance to decline them
- all the currencies are extremely overpriced and limited. You get one in like a month. How many decks its supposed to fix when the effect are also random?
- if you are not using the Reason tokens, you earn close to nothing from a Sortie run and you only get 3 tokens a week.
- Sortie takes longer to run than Chaos so instead of farming Chaos for decks you are supposed to spend even more time in Sortie? great logic
I only have one question - WHY would you chose this route for Sortie and who told you this is fun? At least let us chose the team.

요번주 개발일지입니다.
이번에는 드디어 백호씬에 대한 그래픽 처리가 완성이 되었습니다.
길고도 험하고, 사실 관심이 없을 수 있지만, 막상 대충 처리하면 티가 나서 좋지 못한 이음새가 되는 요소들이 항상 있죠.
공정율 80%까진 쉬워도 99%까지 가기엔 그 투자한 시간 만큼 들어가는 게 인생 인 거 같습니다.
마치 로그 함수를 보는 듯한 인생이군요.
쓸 때 없는 소리는 그만하겠습니다.

현재 절벽과 같은 느낌. 자연물과 같은 느낌을 내기 위한 작업은 다 진행을 했습니다.

보스전에 사용할 방인데요, 에미션 부분에 있어서 라이트 맵과 렌더링 차이로 인하여, 왔다 갔다 하고 있습니다.
이 부분은 만족스럽지 못해서, 고민이 됩니다.
그래도 백호 씬에 대한 기본적인 흐름은 모두 마치게 되었습니다.
진행 상 버그를 수정하고, 문제가 있는 곳을 정리 중입니다.

저스트 회피의 타격감을 올렸습니다.
약간의 슬로우와 함께 시간이 빠르게 돌아오면서, 이제야 저스트 회피를 확실히 했다는 기분이 드네요.

다음으로는 세트효과입니다.
특정 아이템 군을 모으면 세트 효과를 통해 부가 효과를 받습니다.

이를 통해 짝이 맞는 아이템을 얻는 것에 대해 재미를 더 얻고 탐험의 재미를 가지게 되었습니다!
마지막으로는 백호를 처치하고 나서 세자를 강화할 수 있는 강화 시스템입니다.
백호는 전반적으로 해태의 능력을 극대화 시켜주는 일을 하고 있습니다.

백호를 통해 강화한 능력으로 궁극기 위주의 플레이도 경험해 볼 수 있게 설계해보고 있습니다.
다음으로는 비급서나, 여러 숨겨진 유물, 재화 등 시스템을 고민하고 있습니다.
역시 시간과 돈이 문제인 것이겠지요...
비급서 같은 경우에는 이로운 효과만 주는 게 아닌, 부가적인 -효과와 함께 작동 되는 느낌으로 만드려고 하고 있습니다.
이상으로 이번 주 개발일지를 마칩니다.
