The Chaos Zero Nightmare 2026 Summer Illustration Contest has begun.
Showcase your diverse ideas and amazing skills to fellow First Agents!
■ Contest Theme
This contest will have two main themes.
The Nightmare's combatants and partners escape the heat for a summer vacation.
Agents enjoy their summer vacation at a resort, away from their daily lives.
Heidemarie enjoys a relaxing time by the pool, while Magna embarks on a solo motorcycle trip.
Cassius and Maribel relax in a warm hot spring, washing away all their accumulated fatigue.
However, a summer resort is not always a peaceful place.
The sea is full of sharks, and at night, monstrous creatures with axes or chainsaws may appear at the campsite.
In the worst-case scenario, Chaos may erupt, and all sorts of monsters could appear!
Even the most capable Nightmare agents cannot help but feel fear in the face of such unexpected disasters.
Depict agents enjoying their summer vacation, showing a completely different side of themselves,
or agents who unfortunately encounter a disaster at their vacation spot and fall into a state of collapse!
■ Eligibility
Individuals who have a Stove account or own SNS (X, Youtube, Facebook, pixiv etc.) channels and agree to all terms in this notice.
- Corporate or group entries by multiple individuals are not permitted.
- Minors, based on their country of residence, are not eligible to participate in the contest.

Create artwork based on the contest theme and upload it to your SNS channel with the designated hashtag. Required Hashtag : #CZNcontestIf you do not have an SNS channel, you can participate by uploading your artwork to the fan art section of the official Chaos Zero Nightmare communitywith the prefix 'Contest'.You can upload your work to the official community even if you have already posted it on your own channel. ※ If you upload your artwork but do not complete the submission form or send the work files (e.g., PSD), your entry will not be considered valid.
■ Additional Information
- For detailed guidelines on secondary creations, please refer to the Secondary Creation Guidelines.
- You may submit one or multiple entries (however, duplicate submissions of the same artwork are not allowed).
- The submitted files will be used solely for verifying the use of generative AI during the judging process.
- Image size is flexible. However, for judging purposes, shortlisted candidates will be asked to submit data in the following format, so please be prepared in advance.
- A4 size (2,894 pixels × 4,093 pixels / orientation can be portrait or landscape)
- Color Mode: RGB
- Winners will receive an email with information regarding prize payment and tax processing, which will require the collection of personal information.
■ Judging Method
Outstanding works will be selected from the contest entries through our company's rigorous judging process.
■ Precautions
Please read all of the following items and agree to them before participating.
If you submit your entry according to the method specified in■ How to Participate, you will be deemed to have agreed to the contents of this notice.
(1) The following types of works (including nicknames) will be excluded from the judging. Furthermore, if grounds for exclusion are discovered after the judging, the award may be revoked. If an award is revoked, the prize money will not be paid, and if it has already been paid, steps will be taken to recover the prize money. Please take note.
・Content unrelated to the contest theme
・Content commissioned from a third party (including rewards)
・Content submitted after the participation period has ended
・Content that utilizes AI-generated images and text, in whole or in part
・Content that violates game operational policies, infringes on the rights of third parties by imitating others' works, or is otherwise determined to be infringing.
・Content containing excessive sexual content, violence, discrimination, hate speech, or other elements that violate social norms.
・Content that has already been commercialized or is planned for commercialization, or has already been submitted to or won awards in other contests.
・Other content deemed inappropriate by our company.
(2) The copyright of the submitted content belongs to the creator and remains with the winner even after the award. However, Smilegate may acquire the copyright of the awarded content through a separate agreement with the shortlisted candidates, and if an agreement cannot be reached, the award may be revoked.
(3) Smilegate may use the awarded works for promotional purposes by posting them on official websites and SNS accounts and other online channels.
(4) The selection results will not be individually notified to participants. Furthermore, the results of this contest will be announced through media such as Smilegate's operated sites and official SNS accounts.
(5) Participants are deemed to have pre-approved that their submitted works, comments on the works, and Stove nicknames, in whole or in part, may be reproduced or exhibited in events on sites operated by Smilegate, official SNS, etc., regardless of whether they win an award. The reproduced content may be altered.
(6) If you delete your submitted artwork before the winner announcement date, you will be excluded from the selection.
(7) Smilegate will not bear any costs incurred in the creation of submitted works.
(8) Smilegate is committed to protecting participants' personal information and collects and uses it in accordance with applicable laws. Personal information such as email addresses, SNS accounts, and Stove accounts collected during participant registration will only be used for identity verification, winner selection, permission for rights usage, legal compliance, and prize remittance.
(9) Shortlisted candidates may be contacted separately regarding the selection and award process. If no response is received within a certain period after contact, it may be impossible to award the prize or prize money, so please understand in advance.

As some of you may know, I'll explain the reason shortly.

1. Refactoring News
We'll start with some good news.
As a developer, I've reached a point where I can install Unity and play it.
Of course, it's still in a stage that requires more finishing and adjustments before completion.
With many and varied directing sequences, strange bugs occur, and the system is unique,
so it still needs more developer attention.
Nevertheless, visible results have been achieved.

2. Short Story Hiatus in May
Following the good news, here's some slightly disappointing news.
The short story will be taking a break this month.
I can't say more due to an embargo, but I was just extremely busy.
It felt almost as intense as when I was creating 'HospitalxLife'. I only slept about 5 hours a day...
So, my stamina was completely drained.
On top of that, dealing with other tasks, I hit my human limits and will be taking a short break.
I apologize.

The re-funding for 'HospitalxLife' ends on May 18th.

4. External Event - Participation in V-Event Market
Yes, on June 13th-14th, at the Korea Design Promotion Agency near Yatap Station, the V-Event Market will be held,
and 'HospitalxLife' is scheduled to participate.
If you ask how I can participate when I said I was busy...
I decided to participate by sacrificing some of my lifespan, as the support was so good.
It's an event that might not come again if missed!
What will we be showcasing? It can be broadly divided into 3 categories.
1. Autograph Session- Well, I said 'Yes' because they offered support, but I wonder how many people would actually want my autograph... There won't be many, so I'm thinking of drawing characters on the spot if requested.
2. Raffle- If you meet conditions such as purchasing 'HospitalxLife' / following x, you will receive 1 raffle ticket. With this ticket, you can enter a raffle for items like the 'Fluffy Cushion' and 'Voice Actor Autographed Frame' that were released as 'HospitalxLife' funding goods.
I will provide more detailed information later.
3. New Merchandise Sale- Two types of acrylic SD Korotto and two types of acrylic stands will be on sale.
- Only Mina and Somi are available. I didn't have enough time to prepare...
However, there are other heroines included in the photo cards for those who visit the booth.
- The SDs are completely new illustrations, and for the acrylic stands and photo cards, some parts are reused from existing illustrations with new outfits.
