So how am I supposed to get crystals to have a slight chance at being able to pull the new broken character?

I have cleared most of the hard modes on the missions,

I do the season chaos daily but can't get past level 60 without being absolutely demolished, Sortie is impossible beyond level 60, and always dying at end boss of lvl 50.

Every character is level 60 with potentials as far as I can make them. I don't have EZ win Heidemarie.

Crystals are so scarce and 5-20 only when getting some it feels like playing a hoyoverse game.

I'm lost with this...

First of all, save your crystal. Don't pull on every banner unless you are rich or lucky.Second, you have skill issue. You shouldn't have any difficulty beating season chaos lv 80 and below even with modifier like decrease 50% HP as long as you know what team you should bring.The fact that you are struggling on lv 60 seasonal chaos and sortie lv 50 means you still don't understand how to play the game properly (this game is practically turn based game but with card). Especially when Sortie only take into account your character potential and ego manifest, not your memory fragment.Lastly, Heidemarie make the game easier but not necessary to beat seasonal chaos or Sortie. You can do just fine with other character even standard one. You only need to understand their playstyle and team synergy.Here, an example of 1 standard 5★ + 4★ combatants in seasonal lv 80 (safe playstyle, no hp loss)
