That's the worst they don't play it... I only seen one account that doesn't want MALE characters having respectable hours on the game, while the rest of us asking for male characters actually play the game.
Female characters sells more, but i think its a ridiculous decision, E7 and CZN are two different games, if the girls are good in E7 that doenst mean that this will be good at CZN.
What appears is that they doenst understand they game yet.

Are you insane? i don’t think people realize that many players that aren’t vocal play this game also because of female characters, just look at the owen scandal, i hate when a minority of loud people try to push ideas that are clearly bad for the game longevity, i can only comment by comparing this push to how people wanted a certain collaboration with nikke like re:zero or evangelion and actually how badly the real fan base of the game received it, i hope the devs don’t get too blindsided to this, and again, i am all with a double female and male character release but as a stand alone it would be a pretty dry time.
If they wanna do a double banner I'm fine too I'd pull both. But I think if you release a male once in a while you keep the other side of our audience also happy, and from my IRL experience (friends and work colleagues) they all find the female stuff the biggest down side of the game because normal people (not those owen scandal ones 🤏🏻) that have wifes or girlfriends don't need to get their horny on with a gacha game and they play it for the story or gameplay (mostly gameplay) and while none of them find playing as female bothersome having some variety would go a long way.
for example playing as Luke and shooting all those bullets and using his Ego skill feels like an anime finisher and gives a male powerfantasy like most Anime's do as well like one punch man and Solo leveling or Juju kaisen.
I agree so much. I'm so bored of female after female. I love the kit designs of a lot of the units but the personalities and designs are just not my cup of tea. I'm working on building the most insane, Hugo, Kayron, and Luke teams ever seen because while I have a lot of the females they are just the kit they have to me. Once a male comes out I'm forking out my wallet easily to show that I want more of them but in the meantime I'm just tuned out. I play enough to get free ego manifestation and use my energy and that's it. I'm very fatigued trying to farm decks when you have to do so for so many characters for the leaderboard events when I don't even like most of them and the grind takes forever to get a character useable, let alone good. I am excited for whenever (if ever) we get a male character.
I do hope we get atleast one this year, and hopefully it goes to two a three a year (wishful thinking)
They will sell less yes, but they do retain more audience.

My theory is that female characters just typically drive higher engagement from the predominately male player base and they want to either establish a player base of a certain size or reach a certain profit goal before adding more male banners.
I think so too, I've pulled al the female characters as well but I just love some variety, I mean Luke and Kayron are super cool, But also Mechs or cyborgs like Cassius or more furry like Hugo are cool to. But I love the game just hope they add some more variety.
Agreed, more dudes of any kind would be nice just to add some variety. I personally would like the catboy to finally be released but I won't be disappointed by others. I love the cyborg design of Cassius
