Hello, this is Epic Streamer Chaos Archbishop.
April 15th Wednesday I will have the opportunity to discuss recent updates with the developers and play unreleased new content.
Personally, I have questions for the developers, but still, after 7 and a half years, since I have the chance to understand the developers' thoughts
I am writing this because I think it will be of some help to the users who play the game.
Please leave your questions for Epic Seven here in the comments.
We will gather opinions on April 13th Monday at 12 PM and tell the developers on April 15th.
I will share a review after visiting on April 16th! Please leave many comments.

First, some news: Participation in PlayXpo has been confirmed with the games we've been developing! (May 21st - May 24th) The team name is Abyssual Star, the same as the circle!
We judged it too difficult to create the story part of this new game project within just two weeks of its production, so it was made into a mini-game where you earn points by destroying targets!
You control it with the arrow keys and mouse. We plan to include WASD controls in the demo version later. There will also be a small prize giveaway event for those who enjoy the demo.
Well then, I'll slowly post the development progress!

<Bartender in Another World> Review Writing Event Added!
Specific event deadlines or prize shipping dates are not listed, so I will update them if they are added later.

Quest for the Speed Training Island, Ester Island, quests with high importance and fun like the Quest of Light of Destiny or Awakening Quest
I wish I could do it again with an alt character, not the YouTube edition.
Please don't use Expedition Quests only once!!!!

#일번가데어라콜라보 is scheduled to end on April 12, 2026 (Sun) at 23:59.✨
Hurry and participate!!
#데이트어라이브
#데이트어라이브 Season 5

4/9
100*19 = 1900
1000*9 = 9000
3000*2 = 6000
16900-30000 = -13100

I got "LivingForest", which is being distributed for free for a limited time on Steam.
Also, on Steam, 3 paid DLCs for the free-to-play "Burning Skies Arcade" are all free.
Let's get them while you can.

Should only those who are open users or have all essential characters be able to get all the rewards?
Honestly, whether you get the rewards or not has no impact on the game.
It's a matter of how people feel.
Moreover, it's a game with no PvP, so why should people who can't get those meager rewards be excluded?
Should we make them?
I don't care because I'm an open user, but for those who join mid-way or are new,
If everyone can get the rewards, at least the number of people leaving will decrease,
and wouldn't at least one more person be more likely to join?
And the 200 pull rewards are really shitty?
I got the character and their exclusive weapon combined in 70 pulls, and you want me to do 130 more pulls?
Unless I'm crazy, that's not going to happen.
You really have a knack for making people feel bad. Haha

1000 Flakes or more : 3000 * 1, 2026 * 1
200 Flakes probability (23 successes)
15/23 = 65.2%
15 out of 23 times, 200 flakes appeared.
*ps. Today's Capsule Draw: (1000 draws) -14000 deficit.

Yay~~

The most fun I had with plot content was with the branching paths of the Trauma Code.
Gaming through the right and wrong decisions, seeing different aspects of the characters and the world. Can't forget Renoa getting furious with the first or Narja becoming really hungry.
My desire is to see this for new chapters of the main story, playing them more like a classic visual novel where things can go wrong.
Also the branching can go not only by direct decision, but also by gameplay (finishing a battle using Ego Skills or not, in a limited number of rounds, healing x HP, not killing anyone, and so on...)
Does anyone else want to give an input? Agree, disagree...?

Its a good improve it they do it, i hope the storys becomes better, the new ones are horrible, appears to be AI made

Another thing, special maps in story stages where you reach different destinations. You get clued along the way, but not a definitive answer.

i would definitely love to see more branching paths as a VN, this is a niche community so I think many people would like it (and iirc you can directly go to the decision point to make the other choice and resume the story content)
it may be a bit complicated to design branching depending on hp, ego skill use or number of rounds (or how about more monsters joining the fight after x rounds?), but imo this would be the right decision since the train of pleasing a large audience with generic stuff is gone after the first 2 months where everyone complained about the starting fiasco where Reí comes back as good as new 🗿🗿🗿

You are right. Large audiences get bored within time and move on to next new generic stuff.
And about the design branching, the devs (and other artists and such...) shouldn't be afraid to challenge the player's intelligence. It is a game we should be exercising our grey matter, lest we end being brain dead.
For example, I liked Tiphera's investigation proposition. Thing is, the files shouldn't have their main point highlighted in blue to make the answer obvious. The "punishment" for losing (a little time lost) wasn't that big to justify it.

i hope they increase the main story quality first before this can be implemented though...

i also like the story in trauma code, but LOT of people don't like the locking branch path (where you can't choose the other choice if not clear the most recent ones).
and i also get hooked in trauma story code than the main story (which i jokingly that the trauma code is the real Main Story, lol).
if the story quality on trauma code decrease, i'll quit i guess. kinda burnout with chaos too after all (the new arena event is great though to decrease this burnout).

Yeah, the locking branch is quite silly. It locks out the playing aspect of it by railroading you.
