I heard that the concurrent players on Steam for World, the game before the previous one, have surpassed the latest one, Wilds... Seriously?

Normally, new games have more attractive content and players gradually transition, but the fact that the game from two installments ago is the most played indicates that the Monster Hunter development team doesn't grasp what resonates with users or where they find enjoyment.
Minor complaints can be fixed with updates, but if the core concept isn't accepted, there's nothing that can be done... The latest BioShock and Pragmata are doing great, but the Monster Hunter development team really needs to make some changes.

아무튼 드디어 애프터 스토리의 타이틀 화면!
본편의 타이틀 화면이 여름의 정서였다면 애프터 스토리는 석양이 지는 늦가을? 같은 느낌이네요
시작하자마자 반겨주는 예쁜 연희
애프터 스토리인만큼 이미 관계는 진전되어 있는 상태임에도 틱틱대는건 여전하다!
시작하자마자 설렜는데...
본편의 엔딩을 보고 나서 애프터 스토리에서는 연희의 수술 및
악역과의 결착 같은 무거운 내용으로 전개가 될거라고 예상했는데
비중이 클거라고 생각했던 악역이 허무하게 초반부터 리타이어하고 연희와의 달달한 이야기가 나오길래 의외였습니다
하지만 의사 선생님이 나오면서 분위기가 또 다시 바뀌는데...
연희와의 달달하고 가벼운 일상, 그리고 그와 대비되어 점점 무겁고 심각해지는 주인공의 모습

초반부터 본편 악역의 빠른 리타이어로 예상을 깼고
그럼 순하고 달달한 내용으로 전개되려나? 했던 제 예상을 또 다시 깨부셔줬는데
예상을 연달아 회피하면서도 달달함과 긴장감 사이에서 줄타기를 하고
특히 '연희를 위해서' 라면서 자기파멸로 나아가는 주인공과 그 결과 점점 무너져내리는 연출과 묘사는 압권이었네요
나름 국산 비노벨 작품들 여럿 해봤는데
이 정도의 완급조절을 보여준 작품이 있었나 싶었을 정도로
강렬하고 또한 인상적이었던 애프터 스토리였습니다
