We are a team that started making indie games in earnest with friends from my alma mater!

#9는 covers the story of January 26!

[After the Indie Boost Lab Ends]

The Indie Boost Lab ended successfully, and it was time to send rewards to the users who gave various feedback on Stove.

We also held a mouse pad event, so we made and sent rewards related to it!

The 38cm X 28cm mouse pad was large for a short pad, so I was happy that those who received it seemed satisfied!

[Summary of Feedback]

After the Indie Boost Lab ended, we summarized the feedback while looking at the survey and store page.

We realized that making a game started in an immature state, and the road to completion is not easy.

After organizing what needs to be improved in Excel, we decided to determine the direction of improvement.

[Game Remake Direction - Planning]

The game started with the character's conversation in the demo part, but the game ended due to the lack of character appeal or explanation.

We judged based on feedback that the coherence of the conversation was greatly lost as the development progressed without gaining persuasiveness in the beginning.

Therefore, we are focusing on strategies to captivate users in the introduction and are reorganizing the story itself to increase fun, immersion, and persuasiveness.

We will maintain the core plot of the game and the elements of the main characters.

[Game Remake Direction - Art]

There were many users who praised the character design, but we will check if there are any likes and dislikes and refine the character design a little more,

In the case of standing CG, it was pointed out that it was a shame that there was only a front pose, so we will add one pose each for the left, center, and right,

We planned to add facial expression changes accordingly.

In the case of the background, we used 3D models until the demo, but we are also looking for ways to draw the background by hand.

The coloring method has also changed a lot since January 2025, so we are trying to meet users with a new sensibility!

[Surprise Feature Preparation]

A function to decide on a date course in the morning using a smartphone or to view the heroine's profile status message

During a date, a date situation memo appears to help with the direction of the strategy, or

Various reorganization ideas are coming out, such as a function to exchange messages with heroines in the evening!

[In closing]

As 2026 began, our goal was to enter the stage of definitively determining the 2026 demo.

While preparing for this remake, we postponed the original goal of completing it by Christmas 2026 by exactly one year.

Nevertheless, we postponed it for one year in order to present a complete game to the world.

We will work harder to create the game for the many users who are waiting!

Before I start, I would like to inform you that I am looking at this game from a very favorably biased perspective.

Everyone will have different opinions on what is good and bad in the story,

This is a post written to share how Siscary felt to someone who liked it, liked the previous work, and was looking forward to this work,

I hope this article does not interfere with the impression or create prejudice for those who have not yet played this game, so if possible, finish the game

'This is how this type of person felt.'

I hope it will be conveyed as.

I haven't enjoyed the visual novel genre widely.

When I first encountered Siscary (previous work), I fell in love with the art and started supporting game development, and this work made me interested in the genre, so I sponsored Love Dealer 2, and played Love Dealer 1 to fully enjoy Love Dealer 2.

Compared to others, I approached the genre in a slightly strange order.

However, for famous foreign works that have become mega-hits such as Fate/Stay Night, Tsukihime, and Steins Gate, and can be accessed through various other media mixes,

Fortunately, I was able to experience the game before the animation,

I had a very good experience with the advantages that visual novels have compared to other highly accessible media mixes, so I wanted to support them, so I made sure to visit each booth at events.

I think the biggest advantage of visual novels is immersion.

While following the main storyline,

It's not like being swept away by the flow of scenes intended by the producer like in a movie,

I think the fact that I can control the pace of reading the story like a novel, but my choices change the direction of the story like a game, greatly increased the immersion.

In Siscary, there is no change in the story depending on the choices, so there was no advantage of increasing immersion as a game element as mentioned above.

However, it raised the level of immersion in another direction, which is that the story takes place on the same timeline as Siscary (previous work) and flows differently.

In some ways, this can be seen as a third option to divide the heroine routes in Siscary for those who have played the previous work,

I think that people who have only played this work without playing the previous work may only feel like they are following a predetermined story without feeling that the story has changed due to their choices.

The reason why this work received funding and saw the light of day 'Baek Seon-hwa' I think it was thanks to the character's personality.

Baek Seon-hwa was a really reliable and wonderful person in Siscary.

She was a mature person even to the main character, who wanted to become an adult quickly because she had too much to bear on her shoulders from a young age,

 

She was a reliable helper who supported and guided the main character when he was struggling and lost his way, even though he had passion and ability but didn't know where to go and was only moving forward,

The problem is that Baek Seon-hwa's character created Siscary, but this is where the problem arises.

'Divorced woman with a large age gap, employer and student's mother'

The social taboos that are doubly and triply in place are attractive elements that give a strong impulse to overcome them,

Overcoming such taboos'Makjang drama'I think the reason why Baek Seon-hwa couldn't appear as the main character was because this character was too 'Upright and excellent adult' I think that's the point.

I liked Baek Seon-hwa the most, but when I heard the news that funding was confirmed, that was my concern.

'I really like Baek Seon-hwa, but I wonder if that story will turn out well? Won't it be an appendage that ruins the impressions of the previous work and destroys the character's personality?'

So this story is about that'Upright and excellent adult'To'Makjang drama'It takes a really rough and difficult path to bring them to.

I think the biggest advantage of Siscary (previous work) is reality.

To compare it to a fantasy novel, it's like a low-level fantasy?

I liked the fact that each character and event development was not too exaggerated and felt like a realistic temperature, and it increased my immersion.

However, I was worried that this part, which was the biggest advantage I expected from Siscary, would be ruined because the sequel to a work that valued reality so much would deal with 'Makjang drama'.

The main story of the game hasn't even started yet, but the introduction is very long.

I think that in the main story of Siscary, the advantages mentioned above were not damaged and the atmosphere of the work was fully maintained.

In order to protect that advantage, serious reality, Siscary chose a method of constantly knocking on the player's heart (experience, memories).

"We have prepared this story because the sponsor really wanted it, but are you really ready to take responsibility for this choice?"

From the middle of the work, this question is asked repeatedly, to the point of being a bit burdensome, and the main character/player is tested.

I think this method of directly communicating with emotions, especially the feelings of those who have enjoyed the previous work, has two disadvantages.

First of all, I think that new players who have not played the old work may feel like the same story is going around in circles because it does not directly resonate with them.

"I came here to seduce a divorced woman, but why do her daughters keep clinging to me when they can't even connect?? If I wanted to see this, I would have gone to Siscary, the previous work!"

I think that's what they'll think,

For those who have played the old work, this emotional conversation comes as a direct pressure.

Due to the nature of the work, which takes place on the same timeline as the previous work,

I encounter scenes and events that I encountered in Siscary in the past, 

At the school visit, which was the branching point of the common route, the rainy event that was time with Yu-ri in Siscary

Even when the relationship between the two people becomes junior and senior, even if only for a moment, from teacher and mother with Baek Seon-hwa in the rain,

These parts that touched my memories didn't come across so sharply,

The game I used to play to get closer to Yu-ri is overlaid with the game with Baek Seon-hwa,

The karaoke date with Woo Yeon-hee, who captivated the main character's eyes and ears like an idol, is no longer in the eyes of the main character, who is already looking at another woman.

Even the theater date with Woo Yeon-hee, who wanted to create good memories about movies for the main character who had not enjoyed cultural life properly, does not enter the eyes of the main character in Siscary, even through the eyes of the main character who was so oblivious to Yeon-hee's consideration and cute appearance that we could indirectly see.

These parts were attractive scenes that each character showed in the previous work and were memorable,

I thought that the same scenes looked like this to someone who was in love with someone else, so I felt very emotionally heavy.

"You made this story where your choice shone like this, it will be even harder in the future, can you take responsibility for all of this?"

I felt like the work was talking to me.

Because I loved Baek Seon-hwa so much, I felt the test was heavy, but I was still able to move forward to the next story,

For those who liked the two characters before Baek Seon-hwa more and had a bigger preference, the method of stimulating guilt and testing them by touching the memories that those players had built up would have been very burdensome.

It feels like an extra story for people who like Baek Seon-hwa, but I think it was a very harsh progression method for people who liked Yeon-hee and Yu-ri and chose this game because they wanted to see more of them.

Both Siscary and Siscary have three tasks given to the main character in this story.

1. Romance

2. Completion of the curriculum of the two students as a private tutor

3. Improving the relationship between the sisters as friends of the same age

In Yeon-hee's route, completing the second curriculum was the most difficult task.

Romance with the main character took up so much of her mind that Yeon-hee, who wanted to give more of what she had, followed him to a foreign country to complete the curriculum and took supplementary classes.

In Yu-ri's route, she worked hard to improve the relationship between the two sisters, so Yeon-hee studied hard and inadvertently solved the second task as a young man.

This Siscary, which can be seen as Baek Seon-hwa's route, was so difficult that the 2nd and 3rd tasks felt like they were solved with a smile and a slight weight off their shoulders.

Lastly,

Some people may have taken out a story from countless bookshelves to lightly enjoy the story of the atmosphere they wanted in a visual novel,

There may be people like me who like a character and want to see more of that story, so they can fully endure the wall of reality,

I think this story was too burdensome to enjoy lightly.

This topic was too heavy to maintain the atmosphere of 'not too light, serious story' that I have for this work,

I think the method of adding guilt to the player by overlaying memories with the previous heroines in order to bring the 'upright and excellent adult' to the center of this story will be very divisive.

If new players came expecting a sensational title of divorced woman Moe game and expecting a Makjang drama, the walls of reality would have come to them in layers and put a burden on them.

However, I received enough value to overcome all the difficult challenges I mentioned above.

My expectations were very high, and the process felt quite heavy for me as well,

Beautiful art, the scriptwriter's struggles that make you grab your head and scream, the voice actors' passionate performances that make your ears happy, and the programmer who is still fixing bugs and working overtime, bearing the resentment of all the fans of this game even as I write this.

It was a regretless work that made me feel that everyone who participated in this work did their best to make a difficult dish with really difficult ingredients.

I don't think it's a work that can be the best for everyone,

I think it will be a satisfying story for players who can share the burden of the main character's heart.

아무생각 없이 보기좋은 "52헤르츠,DLC 후기"~

 게임이 출시되고 난 뒤 깜깜무소식이여서 dlc는 없겠구나 라고 생각이 들었지만 이렇게 dlc를 내주셔서
진심으로  감사드립니다

'52헤르츠' 이 게임의 장점 중 하나를 꼽자면 단연코
 긴장감 이라고 저는 생각이 듭니다. 개인적으로 야밤에 본편과 dlc를 보면서  몆번이고 노트북을 
닫을려했던 기억들이 있는데요.

이게 장점인 이유는 요즘에 미연시 라는 장르의 게임들을 플레이 해봤을때 대부분 슴슴하게 진행되거나 위기가 극후반부에 배치된 경우가 있어서 아쉬웠습니다.
그러나 52헤르츠는 계속해서 위기감을 주었고 이 방식이 일단 공포게임에서 볼 수 있는 형태로 전달했다는 점과 위기가 오는 과정이 매우 치밀하면서 현실적
(예:신 약물 윤리성)으로 다가와서 좋았고 이것이 중반부터 꾸준히 오면서 긴장감을 계속 이끈게 보는 사람이 계속 몰입해서 게임을 진행할 수 있게 해줘서 좋았습니다.근데 dlc에서 꿈이다라고 안심시킨뒤 힝 속았지로 울게 만들어서 마음 철렁했습니다 ㅠ~ㅠ

그리고 이 위기들 덕분인지 연희와 주인공의 사랑이 더더욱 애틋하면서 절실해 보인다는게 느껴졌습니다.
큰 위기가 왔을때 연희와 주인공이 서로를 위해서 하는 행동과 태도가 참 감동깊었고 눈물이 났습니다.
판타지 같지만 또한 현실에서 일어날듯 한  스토리의사랑이여서  더욱이 재밌게 볼 수 있던것 같습니다 

매력적인 빌런 역시 너무 좋았습니다.연희의 사망금을 노리는 연희의 아버지 이명진, 돈미새 의사 이 두 빌런이 이야기에서  빌런의 역할을 잘 수행해서 좋았습니다. 일단은 초반부터 등장해 빌드업을 탄탄히 쌓았는 점이 너무 좋았습니다. 

그리고 두 빌런이 주인공 시점에서는 굉장히 모호한 존재로 비춰진다는 것도 좋았습니다.이명진이나 의사나 처음에는 굉장히 좋은 존재로 느껴졌지만 후에는 큰 반전성으로 보는 이들의 마음을 아주 후벼파주어서  굉장히 좋았습니다.특히 의사는 직접적으로 이명진처럼 위해를 가하는게 아닌 수술의 부작용으로 그가  서서히 무너지는 연출로 이를 표현한게 본편보다 더 대단하게 느껴졌습나다.그리고 dlc에서
이명진 바로 컷해버린것 너무 좋았습니다 ^~^

그리고 의사는 매력적인 빌런으로 느껴지면서
동시에 매력적인 조력자로 느껴지기도 했습니다.
불순한 의도로 가장 낭떠러지에 있는 자의
심리를 파고들어 윤리적이지 못한 행위를 실행해
이득을 취하려한것은 빌런의 모습이였습니다.
그러나 역설적이게도 그의 그런 제안이 없었다면
연희의 죽음은 불가피한 결과가 되었을 것이고
주인공 역시 남은 여생을 제대로 보낼거라 보장할 수
없었겠죠.그리고 인간성이 어느정도 있다는 것도
놀라웠습나다.이명진을 봤을땐 쓰레기의 표본이라고 봐도 무방하지만 의사는 주인공을 살리기 위해
어느정도 잘못을 수습하기 위해 행동한 그 점이
오히려 선악이 공존하니 참 매력적인 인물로 다가왔습니다


마지막으로  전하자는 메시지 였습니다. 
이건 제 개인적인 생각이지만 일단은  이  suicide이라는 것이 얼마나 무거우면서도 두려운 행위인지 말하고 싶던것 같습니다. 주인공은 2번 자살할려 했습니다.
1번째는 만경도에서 2번째 연희를 위한 무리한 수술에서, 하지만 이를 통해  주인공은 자신의 꿈과  자신 주변의 소중한 인연에게 크디큰 상처를 주었습니다. 이걸 보면서 suicide를 힘들다고 입에 달던 제가 참 부끄러웠습니다. 
할려는 것도 주변에게 크나큰 피해를 주는데 말하는 것도  당연히 줄수 밖에 없는 것이겠죠.

사실 이 게임이 제가 고1 들어가기 직전인 12월에 나왔습니다.중3때는 학폭으로 고생도 하고 고1 들어갈려니 공부는 또 엄청 많은데 친구는 없으니 고민를 나눌수도 없었네요. 살짝 52헤르츠의 고래같은 존재였죠 
그래서  부끄럽지만 Suicide라는 말을 입에 달고 살더라구요.근데  게임을 하고 나니까 많이 창피했습니다.주인공의 노력의 시간,그리고 그가 겪은 고통,어떻게는 꿈을 이룰려는 그 마인드 보면서  힘들다고 주저않으려한 제 자신을 다시 일으켜세울수 있었던 것 같습니다.그리고 고3 들어갈려하는 때에 dlc가 나왔습니다.이번엔 주인공이 그 꿈에 결과적으로 성공하는 모습을 보면서 저도 긍정의 힘을 갖고 고3에 들어갈수 있게될것 같습니다.

2번째는 꿈과 도전 그리고 시간 입니다. 참 신기한게 우리 사회에서 어떠한 직종은 도전하는 시간이 길어도
이해가 되고 인정이 되지만 어떠한 직종은 시간이 
길어지면 질타받고  그 꿈을 접으라고 말합니다. 꿈이라는게 언제나 항상 도전하고 노력해야하는 것인데 그것이 다른것과 비교질하고  한계를 정해버립니다. 그개서 의식불명속 꿈과 주인공의 대화를 보면서 생각이 많이 들었습니다.내 한계는 정말 이게 맞는걸까,아니면
주변에 소리와 환경에 의해 강제로 거기에다 맞춘게 아닐까 하고요 주인공이. 물론 저도 그렇다고 생각이 들었습니다.물론 포기는 잘못된 것이 아니고 용기있는 선택입니다.하지만 내 한계를 제대로 직시하고 거기까지 가보는것도 중요한 선택이자 도전임을 느꼈습니다.

저는 아무래도 위에서 말해듯이 학폭이라는 걸 
겪었는데 그러다 보니 상담도 받게 되고 위로받으며 심리상담사라는 꿈을 가지게 되었습니다. 근데 꿈을 갖고 그 길을 갈려하니 심리상담사는 일차리 찾기도 하늘에 별따기고  학업적 커리어도 상당히 높아야 
되는걸  보고 지레 겁먹어서 포기를 했습니다.
근데 참 dlc까지 보고나니  뼈가 매우 아프더군요.
사실 그림 그리는 쪽에도 흥미가 있었던 사람이라
주인공이 왜  꿈을 포기할려고 했는지 이해가 되면서
그럼에도 성공한 걸 봤을때 공허함이 들었습니다.

그 공허함은 아마 제대로 도전하지 않고 포기하면서 보낸 시간으로 부터 생긴 마음의 구멍에서 나온 기분을 주인공을 통해 자각하면서 느끼게 된 것 같습니다
 지금은 새로운 꿈이 생겼는데 뭐  그 꿈이 A.I때문에 대체된다고 얘기가 나오는데 이번에는 제대로 도전해볼려 합니다. 뭐 대체된다고해도 제가 했던 노력이 부정당하지 않고 응용될수 있게 제 한계까지 노력해보는게 목표입니다.

사실 이 겜을 텀블벅 후원 끝나고 알아서 너무 후회했는데 이렇게 기회를 주신 레드북 개발진 분들께 너무 감사하고 게임 만들어주신건 더더욱 감사드립니아~~~~~~
