As we enter the second month of 2026, we are bringing you our seventh Dev Letter.
 

In January, LORDNINE's first World Raid, Yama, was released, and many players experienced the thrill of 10-player cooperation and strategic gameplay. 
 
 Since its release, the number of participants has steadily increased each week, showing a consistent rise of over 20% compared to the first week, confirming strong interest in the World Raid. 
 We sincerely thank you for the enthusiastic response and passion you showed during the first update of the new year.

This February update focuses on four major areas: significant improvements to the economy system, expansion of new Hunting Grounds, enhanced growth support, 
and the introduction of a fair reward system.

▣ February Major Update Notice

■ Unified World Trading Post – Innovation in the Economy System

The long-requested Trading Post integration is finally happening. 
 

◆ Issues With the Existing System

Until now, LORDNINE's Trading Post has been divided into the Local Trading Post (trading within the same server) 
and the World Trading Post (trading items within the Kransia world region). 
This structure caused the following issues.  
 

[From the Buyer's Perspective]

・Cannot purchase if the desired item is not available on their own server

・Certain rare items may not be listed even after waiting for several days

・Even if the item is available on another server within the same world, it cannot be accessed

[From the Seller's Perspective]

・Limited selling opportunities due to few buyers on their own server

・Selling is difficult on servers with a small population

・It is difficult to find a proper price, forcing sellers into low-price sales

 

◆ Changes in the Unified World Trading Post

The Trading Post is now fully integrated into a single Unified World Trading Post,
with all 10 servers in the same world sharing one Trading Post.
 

◆ Notice of Sales Tax Adjustment

To operate and maintain the Unified World Trading Post, the taxes will be slightly higher 
than the existing Local Trading Post rate. 
 
This adjustment is intended to provide a more stable and active trading environment, and we ask for your understanding.

 

■ New Area - Volcano Dracas

Eternal Flame Born of Arrogance

"Human arrogance which sprouted in times of peace, became hellfire that burned the kingdom,
and Dracas turned into an eternally blazing volcano."

There was an era of peace protected by giants. 
Under the mighty giants, humans enjoyed a peaceful life without war, and civilization prospered. Yet, the seed of arrogance had quietly begun to sprout in the hearts of humans.

Humans, mistakenly believing that peace was entirely their own achievement, began to see themselves as the true rulers of the world instead of feeling gratitude toward the giants. 

They fully embraced that belief. 
The hearts of humans, filled with arrogance, ultimately became a curse, and that curse turned into hellfire that engulfed the entire kingdom.

The once-prosperous kingdom turned to ashes in a single night,
leaving behind only a volcano that burns with eternal rage. 
 
People call this place the Volcano Dracas, determined never to forget the price of arrogance.
 

◆ A New Stage for Challenges

Volcano Dracas is a new Hunting Ground designed with a volcano and lava theme. 
Filled with constantly erupting lava, soaring flames, and toxic volcanic gas, 
this place is the most dangerous and hostile environment in LORDNINE.

The monsters in Volcano Dracas are far stronger than regular field monsters and are designed with such high difficulty that survival is nearly impossible without proper preparation.  
 

◆ 2 New Bosses Added (Rakajeth, Libitina)

Deep within Volcano Dracas resides powerful bosses. 

Each boss requires unique combat patterns and strategies, and they drop top-tier equipment, offering a new challenge for players seeking greater power. 

 

■ Increased Temporal Piece Drop Rate – Enhanced Growth Support

Temporal Pieces are essential materials required for Relic enhancement and Imprint upgrades. 

Relics and Imprints are crucial growth elements that greatly affect a character's combat power, but many players reported difficulty in acquiring enough Temporal Pieces, making growth challenging. To address this, we have prepared an event to support player growth. 

◆ Increased Acquisition Rate

During this event, the drop rate of Temporal Pieces in the Corrupted Labyrinth will increase by 1.5 times compared to the usual rate.

Players who previously postponed enhancing Relics and Imprints due to a shortage of Temporal Pieces can take this opportunity to advance to the next level.
 

■ Lucky Draw System - A New Standard for Fair Rewards

We have prepared the Lucky Draw system in response to the feedback from many players who were frustrated with the uncertainty of the previous probability system. 
This new acquisition method ensures that rewards match effort, providing a reliable chance to obtain high-level gear and avatars.
 

◆ Limitations of the Existing Random System

Until now, random chest drops and avatar summons used in many other games have mostly operated on an independent probability system. 
 

[Problems with Independent Probability]

・If you're unlucky, you can try hundreds of times and still not get a legendary item

・The reward for the invested cost and effort is uncertain

Many Lords have expressed dissatisfaction and disappointment with this system, and we have determined that a fairer and more transparent reward system is needed.
 

◆ Lucky Draw - A Guaranteed Acquisition System

The Lucky Draw is a new reward system designed to fundamentally solve these issues.
The key is guaranteed acquisition from a single pool.
 

[How It Works]

1.Fixed Total Quantity 

・Example: Legendary item x1, Epic item x10, Common item x89 (total 100)

・The quantity of all items in the pool is clearly disclosed

2.Sequential Depletion 

・Each item is removed from the pool after being drawn

・The same item cannot appear twice (since it is removed from the pool)

3.Automatic Probability Increase 

・As Common items are depleted, the probability of Legendary items automatically increases

・Example: 90 items drawn → Among the remaining 10, 1 is Legendary (probability rises to 10%)

・99 items drawn → The remaining 1 is Legendary (100% probability)

4.Maximum Draw Guarantee 

・A Legendary item is guaranteed if you attempt up to the full pool size

・In the example above, the legendary item is guaranteed within a maximum of 100 draws

Another appeal of the Lucky Draw is the Special Lucky Draw system.
