오늘은 곧 출시될 신작 게임 그날의 신문에 대해서 함께 알아보려 합니다.
아무래도 시대 배경이 일제 강점기다보니까 무조건 일본 나쁘다고만 외치면서 애국심 마케팅이나,
증오심 or 복수심을 불러일으키는 반일 게임이 아닐까하고요.
그런데 막상 해보니 그런 강요는 전혀 없고,
오히려 그 시대 언론인으로서 줄 타면서 느껴야 했던 숨 막히는 긴장감과 스릴러적인 재미에 완전히 압도당해버렸습니다.
그리고 비주얼 노벨 기반이라 기믹이 설령 있더라도 큰 기대하지 않고 있었는데요.
놀랍게도 기믹들이 꽤 긴장감있고 재밌더라고요ㄷㄷ
특히 기자라는 설정을 살린 속기 파트는 개연성과 참신함 만점이었습니다!
평소 컴퓨터 앞에서 타자 칠 일이 별로 없어서 그런가...
꽤 식은땀 날 정도로 긴장되면서도 재밌게 플레이했네요.
그리고 대화창에서 대사 흘러나올 때 맞춰서 나오는 타이핑 소리도 정말 경쾌했습니다.
별다른 배경음이 없어서 자칫 단조로울 수도 있는 부분을 이 타자음이 완벽하게 채워줬어요.
물론 우리 역사의 아픔을 잊지 않는 것도 중요하지만,
이 게임은 그 아픔을 단순한 분노로 소비하지 않고,
당시 언론인이 마주했던 치열한 삶의 현장으로 정면 돌파하려했다는 점이 정말 놀라웠습니다.
그럼 다들 정식 출시되면 재밌게 즐기시길 바랄게요!
