In the repeated failures, she suddenly remembers her friends. Larry cursed their existence. She made sure that everything about her friends would never appear in her world again. And she goes so far as to hide those memories. Even if she erases the memories, they are automatically restored, so she cannot erase them, but she can hide them and forget them. Still, she hated even thinking about them or being reminded of them, so she made sure they would never appear in her world again, but it is meaningless.
