I'm curious what people think about the Update, here are some of my thoughts.
Narja: Very fun and powerful character; the fact that the pull banner starts at 70 pulls for guaranteed 5 star means you could pull a lot before getting her (since you could brick the 70 pulls and then reset the banner to 70 pulls guaranteed Narja). I got lucky with pulling Narja and yea seems pretty OP. I would assume the banner would start with 70 pulls guaranteed Narja; not sure if this is global or if it depends on the players banner state before the update.
Trauma Code: Luke's Trauma Code is good, Narja's was a bit less good but Trauma Codes are always fun. For trauma code i don't understand how you get 100% completion in other words how do you branch to other paths and if you can't then why are there completion percentages and rewards for doing all the battle missions?
Counseling: Counseling now has minor rewards for every single branch of choices you make (seemingly). This seems annoying: i assume most people just farm link crash and do counseling 3 times for the crystals. This update seems unnecessary since there's always an opportunity cost. Addendum: I tried 3x counselling with Narja: usually you get the 150 crystal bonus but that is no longer the case. This is ******* appalling.
Spiral Tower: This content is great. The issue is you get 25 floors per week so it's maybe an hour of content per week in a game where playing the builds you've farmed in Chaos isn't something you can do too much.
Dimensional Twilight: This content is similarly great but you may only get one to two hours of gameplay per season across 10 fights each of which you have two teams.
Arkhianon Supply: One issue is the update is held at such a time that you may have already done weekly's that you can't get points for i.e. Completing Challenge In Simulation. I noticed a one lvl offset so you can get 11k exp this week maybe that's why it exists or perhaps it's a bug.
Codex: They added a Lab 0 Stage with 50 crystal rewards for completing difficulty 5 to 10. It's good.
Overdrive Simulation: Awesome event always appreciated.
Virtual Tactical Simulation: Always fun.
Emergency Rescue Protocol: Always appreciated.
Law Of Preserved...: Narja battles are fun and well balanced so far and don't create a steamroll, mind-off situation.
Overall: The game is about building characters and then testing your party of three. The character building aspect is fun albeit grindy. Usually i bring Tressa, Sereniel and a new character into Chaos since it's an easy steamroll as i learn the new character but venturing away from crutch characters is intimidating. The main issue at the moment is there's not enough content to test your party once you've built the characters and farmed Chaos 0 for decks. I came into the game maybe a month ago so this issue could feel even more pronounced with others; perhaps i just need to play other gacha games since i'm not allowed to productively play as much as i'd like.
I read that the normal banner was reset in a post somewhere down the list (it's really back to 70 now hahaha), my spiral entries haven't seem to reset maybe it does so every week either way I'd likely reach a brick wall soon the game just loooves to make us fight those Goliath battles capped at 60 vs level 110s.. maybe things would get better down the road (if not I'll just continue being passive aggressive comical levels of horrible muhahaha.)
