💙Horror game series part two
Hello!
A person with a warm heart
Stove Crew 3rd Member Moon Sae-yeonhere 💖
For you all,
when you think of words that warm your heartwhat
comes to mind?
Dreams, hope, money, puppies, Han River view apartment (owned) ...
😌
The first thing that comes to my mind 'family' seems to be it
We are happy together, and sometimes we hate each other, but
when hard times come, they are the first thing I think of
If there is a side of such a dear family member that is being hidden,
should I reveal it, or should I cover it up?
Today's post is finally the last work of the horror series!
"Among the Sleep"
# Game Info
"Become a baby trapped in a strange nightmare and go on a journey to find your mom."
It's a very famous game!
It was released in 2014, so it's already been 10 years.
But since it's localized in Korean on Stove,
for those who haven't experienced it yet,
I thought it would be a great benefit, so I brought it here 👍️
# Gameplay
The protagonist, who just turned two, receives a 'teddy bear' as a gift.
But that doll...
It talks and moves!
The protagonist, who was playing with the teddy bear, falls asleep with it...
When I woke up at dawn, the doll was gone.
And the place where the doll was found was right inside the laundry room
Because of the teddy bear's words that the mom who only felt kind was strange,
I started to look around the house to find her.
The house that was cozy and warm during the day
has changed into a chilly and creepy atmosphere.
After confirming that mom's bedroom is empty,
the protagonist enters a suspicious room with the lights on.
Following the path where I might find clues about mom,
I encountered a suspicious space!
The protagonist activated the puzzle device using mom's memory device.
I set off on an endless journey to find mom.
What is the secret that mom was hiding?
# Evaluation
1. A game viewed from a different perspective
This game is played from the first-person perspective of a baby,
the perspective of looking up from the flooris the main one.
Because it's a unique perspective not seen in other games,
it was fresh,
and I liked that it was easy to immerse myself in the character of a baby.
Of course, walking is also possible if it's uncomfortable!
In line with the characteristics of that age,
the design element that allows you to move faster
by crawling was also fun.
2. A spoonful of puzzles in a horror game
'Is this a horror game... or a puzzle game...'
I think you've probably had this experience quite a few times while playing games.
I came to enjoy horror, so why am I using my brain...
But <Among the Sleep> is definitely good because the puzzles play an auxiliary role.
Without difficult levels that require brainpower,
most of the puzzles consist of exploring the map to find devices.
It is composed of that.
3. Well-made story
Amidst the fantasy elements where the teddy bear talks and walks,
it contains a very realistic story.
The opposite side of the loving mom
seen from a baby's perspective...
😭
It was also fun to enjoy the story
I've finally finished the horror series I planned!
I hope it was of some help during the hot summer.
I don't think I'll be looking at the horror genre for a while now haha 🥶
If you enjoyed this review,
I recommend playing <Among the Sleep>!
💙Among the Sleep Store Link
I'll be back with a cheerful and lively game in the next review 😝💗

Precautions Before Reading
– This post contains the author's personal opinions and personal bias.
– If there are any issues with the text or photos, please let me know and I will edit or delete them.
– Since this is my first time writing such a long post, it might be clumsy, but I would appreciate it if you enjoyed reading it!
First of all, the purpose of writing this post is to provide information for those who don't know where the exact location is or what the event was like when V-Market (V-Event Market) holds a visual novel (VN) event next time, and I wrote it in the hope that the number of people who like VNs will increase.
About 2 months ago (as of the writing date, 8/9), V-Market was held at the Korea Institute of Design Promotion. I attended on Sunday with an early bird ticket. If you saw someone reading a book while waiting, that was probably me.
Starting with directions, if you get off at Yatap Station, you won't see the Korea Institute of Design Promotion building right away; you have to walk for about 10 minutes to see it. If you come out of exits 1 or 2 at Yatap Station, you have to cross the crosswalk one more time, so I recommend coming out of exits 3 or 4.
If you follow the map above, the building will appear as shown in the photo.
If you hang around in front of the building or wait in the park next to it, the staff will let you know when they start queuing. Then, you start waiting at the place shown in the photo above.
Then, 10 minutes before entry, you start waiting inside the building and then receive your special gifts and enter.(It's roughly in the basement with that kind of structure.)
– From here on, the main content is photos of merchandise, participating booths, and what happened at the booths (essentially merchandise and chatter), so please keep that in mind.
First, for the early entry special and entry special, I received VN photo cards, VTuber photo cards, an autograph board and envelope, a key ring, a postcard envelope, a shopping bag, and bottled water, and at the Tales Shop booth, I received two voice actor magazines and a Tales Shop illustration book.
I don't remember the order in which I visited the booths, so I will describe them in numerical order.
1. Tales Shop
At the Tales Shop booth, which created <Her World>, <The Fox Awaits Me>, etc., they didn't sell merchandise, and as explained above, I received the illustration book and voice actor magazine when I entered.
2. Teco Games
At Teco Games, which is making <Love Bunny Recipe>, I received postcards, stickers, and a booklet. They are still doing V-Market mail-order sales, so if you want to buy merchandise, I think it would be good to purchase them on Witchform.Belua is actually in charge of calculations, and she says 3 items of merchandise don't even cost 3.2 million won.
3. NyamNyam Games
This is NyamNyam Games, which created <My Pet Girl>. Thinking about it now, it was the place I should have gone to first. I was walking around without thinking and missed out on the Children's Day postcard. At NyamNyam Games, I got a Haru photo card, stickers, TION's business card, a postcard, and a lottery ticket. It's fun! I recommend you try it!
4. Production O-Nyang
This is the booth of illustrator O-Nyang, who participated in works like <Secret Thumb>. They were promoting their new work, <Pink Overheat>. I received an A4 character sheet and a stamp here. It was impressive to see them working hard, saying, "Try testing it when you pass by!", so I went home and tested it. It's still open on X, so why don't you try it too?
5. Eliph Games
At Eliph Games, which developed <My Eccentric Streamer>, I got a stamp and voted for the most popular character. When I went, they were grading the quiz papers on the floor.
6. Osotis Games
This is Osotis Games, which created <Dear My Editor>. When I went, all the merchandise had been sold out. So I got a stamp and went back later to get an autograph from Rin.
7. DOTG
This is DOTG, which created <Forbidden Love> and unveiled their new work <How to Tame a Useless Princess> at V-Market. Here, after getting a stamp and receiving a poster for the new work, I spun the roulette and it stopped just one space before the autographed photo card, so I received an L-shaped file. I still remember the person there saying, "This is definitely not rigged!" Still, the L-shaped file was good for storing paper merchandise.
8. Wajajak Games
This is Wajajak Games, which developed <Sister's Curriculum>, <Sister's Curriculum After Story>, etc., and is currently producing their new work <Starlight Replay>. They had a separate line for the lottery here, so I easily got a stamp and a photo card. Looking back now, why are Yuri and Yeonhee double? It's a mystery.
9. Cloud Star Games
At Cloud Star Games, which created <French Connection> and <Who's My Manito>, I already have the priest cup and received an autographed poster at the last event, so I just got a stamp and left, and I don't have any particular memories. Achievements for French Connection have been added to Steam and Stove, so why don't you try it today if you haven't or even if you have?
10. Comet Philharmonic Orchestra
This is the Comet Philharmonic Orchestra, which is producing <Fantasy of the Witch and Golem>. Here, I received a poster while getting a stamp. I was surprised because the poster was quite large. Funding hasn't started yet, so if you are interested, why don't you participate when the funding comes out?
11. Story Autumn
At Story Autumn, which created <My Favorite of the Three>, I received a postcard for their new work <Love Tale> and a stamp. Other than this, I have nothing to say about V-Market. The ending song [Fine] of My Favorite of the Three is good to listen to. I highly recommend you listen to it.
12. Unhealthy Nickname
It took a long time because Unhealthy Nickname, who created <Hospital x Life>, made each autographed drawing different. Seeing them keep drawing and signing even though their wrist hurt made me think it was sincere. I am a member of the Susudan, so I asked for Susu. You should become a member of the Susudan too!Next to it, there is a stamp + gacha, and the gacha envelope looked like I could see the rank if I looked closely, so I closed my eyes and drew, and as a result, I got a tapestry and a Bori acrylic stand. Looking at the stamp book and thinking, 'What logo is this?', I applied the process of elimination and found it was the Unhealthy Nickname booth.(I covered it with Sehee on Hypatia because it felt weird to just upload the autograph.)
13. ClassHappiness
At ClassHappiness, which created <Snow Woman Calling Spring>, <Scales Permeating My Daily Life>, and is currently making <Is Maid Love?>, I got a stamp and saw they were holding a lottery, so I got a Gyeoul photo card and a Hwaryeon coaster? from the lottery, and besides that, I bought a Hwaryeon card sticker.
14. Eugene Games
This is Eugene Games, which created <Leaf in Bootstrap>, etc., and holds workshops every year. At Eugene Games, I got a stamp and wrote a cheering message on a post-it note to receive a mini key ring. Unfortunately, it's a work I haven't played, so I don't know which character it is.
15. Goods Work
There was also Goods Work, which I found when I was looking for VN merchandise a while ago. Honestly, I don't remember. They sell merchandise like French Connection desk mats, so why don't you take a look if you're curious?
16. Digital Cake Shop
This is Digital Cake Shop, which created <Harmful to the Heart> and is making their new work <Absolute Love Forbidden Zone>. They were selling merchandise and running a lottery here. I got a stamp and immediately did the lottery, getting an Onseol photo card and a key ring. If you want to play a heart-pounding VN, why don't you try it? The OST, Heart Switch, is also cute and good to listen to. I highly recommend this song too!
17. Habom Studio
This is Habom Studio, which created <Welcome to the Share House!>, which was finally released recently. I received a stamp, a booklet, and chose photo cards of the 3 heroines. I played the character with the lowest percentage in the achievements first, and personally, the Yunha story was the best. There is a sales pledge like the maid outfit at ClassHappiness, so why don't you buy it and enjoy it?(Saeun covered the wrong release date.)
18. Que Sera Sera
This is Que Sera Sera, which is developing <Even If I Die, It's Good!>. They were playing One Card as an event here. It was a One Card game where A is treated as 1, and it was the first place I went to. I thought I had a higher chance of winning by drawing an 8, but a Q came out and I lost... My bad luck isn't just a one-time thing, so I moved on and got a photo card and a stamp.
Exception. ChopChop Studio
This is ChopChop Studio, which is making <Vividoor>. It was next to the VN booth, it's a game, and they said they were doing funding, so I thought it was a VN booth, but it wasn't. Still, they appeared at V-Market and are doing funding on Tumblbug, so I'm writing it down. If you look at the tent in the photo, it says there is a Tumblbug page, but I check Tumblbug almost every day, so it was a booth I was suspicious of as soon as I saw it. I remember asking a staff member nearby and getting an answer that the game hadn't come out on Tumblbug yet. Today (8/9) is the last day of funding, so why don't you try funding it? If it's not too late, I also recommend participating in the funding commemorative event.
As a stamp reward, I received a postcard and a card. There was also a lottery, so I tried it and got a memo pad, 2 autograph boards, and a losing card?
Closing
When I was going to V-Market from Yatap Station, unlike the V-Market X post that said the building would be visible right away, it wasn't, so I thought I should write this post from then on, but I'm so lazy that I finally got to write it. Somehow, after writing it, it's over 4,000 characters, and I thought I should write about this and that at the end, but now that I'm trying to write it, I don't think I can think of anything. Have a great day!
- For reference, the photos came from each game company's X, V-Event Market's X, Naver Map captures, and my mobile phone.
