I always prioritize visuals above all else when looking at games!

It was about a week ago...

I was out looking for cute and pretty games again today.

Then I came across this game screen!

I just fell in love with it 💘 

Bewitched by such a cute appearance, 

I made the huge mistake of buying it

without really reading the game description.......

none other than

 "Rain World" 

I hope that after reading my post today,

you won't be fooled by this beauty(?) like I was 👍️

 # Game Info 

A cute and fragile Slugcat separated from its family by a massive downpour.

It must fight against a harsh reality to reach an unknown destination.

To find shelter from the daily downpours, and to escape the threats of predators and hunger.

<Rain World> is a hardcore platformer survival game, and

situations where you die happen endlessly!!!

If there is one thing you need for this game,

I urge you to equip a strong mentalitybefore you start 😌

 # Gameplay 

<Rain World> allows for a total of 9 playable roles based on the DLC,

but at first, you can only play as the Survivor and the Monk.

In my review today, I will be reviewing the gameusing the most basic form, the 'Survivor'!

True to its description as a hardcore game, <Rain World>

gives you absolutely no information other than the simple controls 

It doesn't tell you where to go, your destination, or even your goal,

and only situations where you have to avoid predators 

keep happening.

It really feels like being dropped in the middle of the wild... 🥶

But this game...

Be prepared.

You die SO~~~ much.

You get eaten and die,

you get caught by grass and die again,

you get caught in the rain and die again and again!!!!!

Since I'm not a user who is used to hardcore games,

I really felt the importance of mental fortitude while playing...

And there are just so many creatures that appear,

and there's no real information about them either,

so among the things here,

there are some that don't even attack the player.

All knowledge must be acquired through trial and error while playing!

(Isn't there some kind of cheat sheet with the wisdom of the ancestors?...)

Of course, our fragile Slugcat

can only pick up and throw objects,

so it's a cutie whose best strategy is to avoid combat rather than fight 💗

Another feature of <Rain World> is the vast map,

and you can check the map by holding down the space bar.

And this map only shows where you've been,

and fortunately, even after you die and respawn,

you can still see your previous traces.

the ancestor was me, haha.

There was one thought that kept crossing my mind while playing this game.

 It's a game that is extremely hit-or-miss. 

And unfortunately, it didn't suit my tastes,

it's not just any cleaner.

You become a wall cleaner,

like Spider-Man or Attack on Titan,

you strap a rope to your body and fly around to do your job.

Why?

>It's the protagonist's dream<

It's not because they're broke and need a high-paying part-time job,

they actually moved to the city to become a high-class cleaner.

So, just like a roguelike,

there's a system to upgrade your skills and equipment!

Since it's a genre I usually like,

I had a fun time playing it.

First of all, control is important in this game.

So you can set the difficulty from the start,

and since I'm clumsy, I chose Easy mode.

Even without trying,

I know I shouldn't attempt Hard modeb

There are also stories and quests.

You need to earn

money, will, and trust while cleaning.
