Without air conditioning, you'd be covered in sweat again as soon as you step out of the shower at home,
so air conditioning is a must...
I hope Stove Indie members are also making good use of their air conditioning and taking care not to catch a cold from the AC!

After a while of weather that didn't feel like summer, it rained for a few days and eventually ended up like this again...

I've played this game!
After 1 and 2, Dungeon Warfare has finally released 3...
So, here are our key points to watch.
So, compared to the increased price, is the content richer than before?
Up until 2, it was just a stage-based defense game, right?
But they said they applied roguelike elements this time, so I'm curious about how that turned out.
Let's get right to it.
| 📃 Game Review |
First of all, Dungeon Warfare is a defense game where you place traps in the right spots to stop incoming enemies.
It has basic features like pause and fast-forward, as well as,
summoning the next wave immediately, and rune items that increase difficulty for extra rewards and so on,
making it a game with many challenging contents.
I think this is the top-tier defense game on Stove.
It feels like it reached 3 thanks to that support.
In this 3rd installment, they provide units that track and attack.
It looks like those units can be upgraded too.
I imagined clearing everything with just those units without placing traps.
This time, uniquely, every time you clear a stage, they give you cards,
and it has transformed into a strategy game where you expand by placing them on the map.
With special effects on each terrain, the difficulty of the dungeon can vary depending on the layout.
It's not a massive change from the previous series, but
just cards and strategy. For someone like me who loves that, it seems like a good change.
Hmm, the familiar taste
of the floor trap's clicking sound is always good to hear.
A really good point about this series is that floor traps have been changed so they don't attack allied units.
That used to be quite annoying.
And traps that deal area damage have increased, making it feel more satisfying.
Before I knew it, so many dungeons had appeared.
Besides defense, there's also the fun of expanding territory.
Someday it will be so wide it won't fit on one screen, right?
Equipping runes when entering a dungeon makes the game a bit harder, but
since it gives more resources, you have to add as many as possible to grow.
It's resources you'll need to get eventually anyway.
Trying it out and removing them if it seems impossible makes it quite fun to challenge.
Pink stones are mainly used in the shop.
Buying cards, increasing the maximum number of traps, buying marks that act as passives, etc.
It's quite useful.
But with that, strengthening the fire unit is possible...
I'm investing everything into that one. But it doesn't seem that efficient.
But a thought just occurred to me.
I'm not sure why this is a roguelike mode.
Does the game end if there are no more dungeon cards to clear?
I'm not sure yet.
| 📃 Conclusion and Wrap-up |
That was Dungeon Warfare 3, and I'm looking forward to seeing how far this game will continue to grow.
Honestly, I don't think there are many indie defense games as fun as this.
But since the price is gradually increasing, updates or separate DLCs seem like a better idea.
Because it costs a bit of money.
It was a very good defense game to play
both simply and deeply.
This was Mashwang. Thank you.
