Smilegate announced on the 12th (Fri) that 'Epic Seven', a mobile turn-based strategy RPG (Role-Playing Game) developed by Super Creative, has updated the new hero 'Dawn Overture Ludwigs'.
Dawn Overture Ludwigs is the last survivor of the 'Night Clan' who appears as a supporter of the protagonist 'Lidica' in the ongoing Episode 6 'The Requiem of Gods' story. She joins the adventure to investigate the secret society 'Order of the Black Holy Grail' after being called by Lidica while preparing for a journey to mourn her deceased clan.
As a 5-star Ice-element Ranger hero, she can quickly acquire 'Souls' using the buff 'Dawn' and deal high damage to all enemies by consuming them.
Dawn is activated when using the 3rd skill 'White Night', increasing her Soul acquisition rate by 100% and inflicting Stun on enemies with a certain probability after attacking. White Night not only activates Dawn but also dispels 2 buffs from all enemies and applies debuffs to reduce combat power. Additionally, it generates a shield for herself, making survival easier.
The 1st skill 'Moonlight' uses 'Light of Judgment' additionally when attacking an enemy if she is in the Dawn state. Light of Judgment attacks all enemies by consuming all possessed Souls, and the damage increases significantly in proportion to the consumed Souls.

(The existing effect of dispelling all enhancements by 1 stack after consuming Yin Qi and the effect of speed increase proportional to the number of pills have been removed.)Heavenly Heart Powder:Changed from a Sect-exclusive item to a common item. Activation threshold adjusted from 10 to 12, and dispelled stacks adjusted from 6 to 12 respectively.Poisonous Organ:Changed to a new effect that grants 1 stack of poison each time the opponent loses 1 stack of enhancement. Check in & play event - not getting any points even though I've been playing for 30mins+, and I played on the Stove PC Client (I've been playing on the Stove client for 2 days so I have 120 points because of logging in)
For those who play other weapons, this may sound like a simple complaint.
However, there are players who chose gauntlets due to their relatively low price compared to other weapons, and there are also players who play because they are attracted to the weapon itself. I believe these players are also valuable users.
Many gauntlet users were disappointed to see the notice "Gauntlets excluded due to planned reboot" in this balance update. The problem is that the reboot is only 'planned,' and no specific schedule has been released.
Users have no way of knowing if that plan will be in 3 months, 6 months, or even a year. If they are excluded from the balance update targets in this state, gauntlet users will inevitably feel alienated.
If a reboot is difficult immediately, at least temporary balance adjustments such as an attack power increase should be made for gauntlet users to accept it.
The current approach feels like repeatedly telling gauntlet users to just wait.
