If I were to summarize <Fantasy Tale 2> in one line,

'A deck-building roguelike game with some minor elements and service gods'

You could say that.

The basic game progression is the same as a typical deck-building roguelike game.

Within the limited energy, cards are drawn to defeat enemies with effects such as attack, defense, buff, and debuff.

After the battle, you can obtain cards and goods to strengthen your deck and character.

You can proceed by choosing one of the options that appear at the end of each action and clear the boss at the end.

But now here comes the identity and unique system of this game.

This is the ' companion ' system.

Since the companion is directly derived from Chinese characters, the terminology may sound awkward, but it can be said to be a general ' supporter ' role.

You can select a companion using crystals, a currency that can be obtained in the game.

Each companion has different abilities that help in the game, and above all, their abilities can be upgraded through strengthening .

There is another unique advantage to this game.

The point is that the system for multiple rounds has been well implemented.

First of all, depending on the weapon you choose at the start, the cards and mechanics that appear in the game will be different .

Basically, there are three weapons:

Also, there is a card called ' Super Basic Attack ' in the longsword build, and this card is really a scam.

It activates the basic attack and defense cards twice.

Because of this, you can easily clear most boss battles by only using buff cards that increase attack or defense power for the remaining cards.

Due to the relatively easy difficulty, the battles were not very interesting.

And there are some parts where the illustration details are a bit disappointing .

Overall, the quality looks good, but there are a few characters that are drawn a bit cross-eyed, or have odd body proportions, as shown above.

It was one of the slightly annoying elements.

In conclusion, the game is fun.

Basically, it was nice to see a bunch of pretty girl characters (in reality, they're rough generals...) and to be able to enjoy episodes like Minyeonsi and service scenes.

The game system also sticks well to the basics of deck-building roguelike and has multi-play elements, making it great for playing for a long time.

I recommend that those who received the game for free this time try it out to kill time .
