하스스톤 투기장에서 가장 재미있는 부분은 덱을 구성할 때고, 정작 게임 플레이는 재미없다고, 남이 해줬으면 좋겠다고 생각한 적이 있다. 하요와 잡화점은 그 아이디어를 실제로 구현한 듯한, 덱 구성의 재미에 집중한 게임이다. 아이템을 '어떻게' 활용하는지는 무작위성에 맡겨버리고, '무엇을' 선택하는지만이 중요한 간결한 시스템이었다.
단순한 구조라 1인용 보드게임으로 제작도 가능할 것 같다고 느꼈다.
이 단순성은 진입장벽이 낮고 가볍게 즐기기 좋다는 장점이 있지만, 금방 질릴 수 있다는 단점도 명확해보인다.
새로운 캐릭터를 해금해도 어울리는 아이템이 달라질 뿐, 좀 더 플레이하면 전혀 다른 독특한 경험을 줄 것이라는 기대감이 들지 않았다.
비주얼 면에서 캐릭터들의 개성이 뚜렷하고 매력적이며, UI 디자인도 잘 어울리고 깔끔했다.
깊이 있는 전략성과 묘수풀이를 원하는 유저에게는 추천하지 않지만, 타 덱빌딩 로그라이트 게임의 그러한 전략성이 피곤하게 느껴지는 라이트 유저에게는 추천할만 하다.
