1. 궁금증을 유발하는 스토리
정상에는 무엇이 있을까, 태초마을의 할아버지의 대사는 플레이어로 하여금 정상에 대해 상상하게 만듭니다.
2. 귀여운 캐릭터, 몽환적인 배경음악, 눈이 즐거운 도트 아트 배경, 적절한 효과음
여러 가지 감각적인 요소가 이 게임만의 독특한 분위기를 만듭니다.
태초 마을로 돌아갈 때는 조금 짜증이 났지만 게임을 계속 하면서 왠지 모르게 힐링이 되는 것을 느꼈습니다.
3. 흥미로운 난이도
조작법이 어느 정도 익숙해지고 나니 게임이 재미있게 느껴졌습니다.
장애물에 막혔을 때 어떻게 이 난관을 헤쳐나갈지 고민하고, 장애물을 통과했을 때 성취감을 느꼈습니다.
-개선이 필요한 점 & 개선 방향
1. 스토리를 더 보여주세요!
게임의 난이도가 낮지 않은 만큼 플레이어들에게 '왜 주인공이 높이 올라가야만 하는지'를 알려줘서 동기부여를 해줄 필요가 있다고 생각합니다. 높이 올라가서 꼭대기를 보는 것이 주인공의 오랜 꿈이라던가, 말입니다. 귀여운 주인공을 위해서 플레이어들은 기꺼이 점프의 달인이 되어줄 겁니다.
그리고 스테이지 사이에 검은 화면에 흰색 대사라든지, 뭐라도 스토리를 조금씩 보여줄 수 있는 요소가 있으면 재미있을 것 같아요. 다음 스테이지를 더 노력해서 클리어하게 만드는 촉매제가 되어줄 겁니다!
(태초마을의 할아버지가 누구인지도 스토리에서 보여주시면 좋을 것 같아요!)
(태초마을 단골이라서 할아버지와 나무가 굉장히 신경 쓰였는데요, 복선을 마구마구 깔아주신 다음에 다 회수해주시면 좋을 것 같습니다!)
2. 갑분끝?!
한 라운드의 끝에는 목적지라는 것을 나타내는 '특별한' 요소가 있으면 좋을 것 같습니다.
3. 튜토리얼
설정에 들어가야만 조작법을 볼 수 있다니, 데모 버전이라서 어쩔 수 없었지만 아쉬웠습니다.
게임 시작 전에 플레이어들이 자연스럽게 조작법을 익힐 수 있도록 도와주세요!
4. 초반 난이도 조절
플레이어가 게임에 애착을 가지기 전에 난이도가 너무 너무 높다고 느끼면 탈주 욕구를 느낄 가능성이 높습니다.
서서히 난이도를 높여가는 것이 가장 베스트라고 생각합니다.
(한 스테이지를 물리적으로 길게 만들고 블럭의 난이도를 어느 정도 조절해서 배치해도 좋을 것 같습니다.)
(지금은 한 스테이지가 물리적으로 짧지만 난이도 높은 블럭이 빼곡하게 배치되었다고 생각됩니다.)
(이런 구조가 저는 나쁘지 않았지만 일부 플레이어는 걸음마도 안 뗀 아이에게 뛰라고 한다고 느끼게 할 수도 있다고 생각합니다.)
캐릭터가 공처럼 통통 튀는데 벽과 벽 사이에서 튕겨지다가 태초마을로 돌아갈 때 저는 가장 허무함을 느꼈던 것 같습니다.
정말...정말... 다양한 방법으로 태초마을로 돌아갔지만 이게 가장 기억에 남습니다.
- 총평 : 오랜만에 정말 정말 몰입하면서 플레이 한 게임!
잘 안 풀리는 부분이 풀리기 시작할 때 굉장한 성취감을 느꼈습니다.
