Greetings devs,

I have couple ideas that can greatly increase quality of life of your players. I've been sitting on this for over a month now, I was waiting for your changes in the next season and the direction of the game, which now correlates with my suggestions. Lets dive into it.

1) ANALYSIS
After doing extensive research, combined with my own game experience, there are three main factors that caused your revenue to drop from 10mln a month to 1.7mln in March. 50% drop was expected when the initial hype went down after release, thats common for any gacha game, but then you took another massive hit and here is why

THE GAME IS TOO GRINDY
-most gacha games have some equipment system, which is usually the only customization of your characters. You have exact same mechanic - Memory Fragments. Its time and resource consuming, plus its gated with energy. Getting "perfect rolls" will take months for a single character
- farming decks in chaos is WAY too time consuming. The RNG required to get a deck you want is not in your favor. At the start of last season (Burning life) I spent ~40 hours farming decks for my team and I still didn't get one I was after and had to use 3 Flash of Potentials to adjust my Serenei's deck. I don't know what amount of time you deem as reasonable for players to spend farming decks, but thats way too much. Each card has over 100 variations of divine epiphanies. And the chance to get a divine epiphany is around 15? %. Even if you get the new potential that increases chance for DE by 25%, its 25% of the base chance, not +25%. So it solves nothing. And do you know the best part? After you released the boss (Collosus) mid season, turns out all of the decks I farmed for so long were unusable. Not performing badly, but outright unusable, unable to beat the boss at all even on lower difficulties.
- equipment is another RNG factor. Even if you get great deck, you are not guaranteed to get equipment pieces you are after, which multiplies the amount of time need to farm the deck you want
- season mechanic like imbue, enchanted equipment or special cards further multiplies the difficulty of crafting deck you want
- combine all of this and you get into point that people are tired of doing chaos runs over and over with no results. And if we get lucky, its only for one season. 
conclusion - which of your players have at least ONE character where they have exact deck they want, exact equipment and perfect rolls on their memory fragments? I have 0 of these. You don't play with what you want, you play with best you have and if you want to switch tactics, you have to farm all over again and not just one deck, you need to farm multiple cos you want different epiphanies on your support character cards as well.

CHARACTERS BECOME USELESS IN NEXT SEASON
this is another major issue I encountered during my research. Its a gacha game, not every player have all characters. You can't release seasonal bosses that are tailored to a single character and expect players to be happy about it. Making a boss game mechanic that will promote using specific tactic or character is fine. Making the boss unbeatable by using 90% of existing characters is a horrible design and costed you dearly. Why should players invest into character that will become unusable after couple months?

PARTNERS
you adjusted the base values of tier 1 5* Partners to be the same as tier 5 4* Partners. Thats great. But you forgot the main issue. Since they are now roughly equal in stats, the difference are mainly EGO skills. You limit the gain of EGO in major boss fights by 90%! making EGO skills obsolete. No wonder players don't roll on Partner banners. Why would they? The only place where you even need these EGO skills and Great Rifts and other seasonal bosses.
so how to fix the game without breaking it?

2) FORGE

lets tackle the grindiness first. Forge is an alternative way to build your deck without having to run chaos each time. I am sure you already considered something like this, the idea is not new, some players already made this suggestion on this forum (myself included), but here is one very polished and highly adjustable take on it.

The concept is this

- you run chaos as usual. When you beat final boss, all variations of the cards you end the run with, including equipment, will be added to your forge database

- you can freely craft decks using forge database

- the goal is NOT to make chaos runs obsolete, but to greatly lower the time needed to craft decks and here are specific steps on how to reach it

2a) BUILDING FORGE DATABASE
all basic cards are automatically unlocked

since I designed Forge to be a late game mechanic, this will only apply to tier 16 zones.-when you finish the tier 16 zone (you beat the last boss and successfully extract) all cards and equipment you posses on all your characters, will be added to your Forge database.

-if you get Divine Epiphany, and don't have the base epiphany unlocked, it will unlock both

- it can be free and automatic (preferably), or if you want a Unit dump, it cost like 500 Units per new entry and you add another option to the extraction, similar on how you can delete the memory to get some Units, you can now extract the memory into Forge database.

- similar to DE, any seasonal enchantment on equipment like imbue will only unlock on the specific equipment piece you put it on.

to make it easier on players, I suggest adding another symbol on cards similar on how you mark new cards with N. it would look like this (top left corner). It would only appear in tier 16 zones so players won't be confused.

2b) FORGE MECHANICS
once you have your Forge database filled, you can go to Forge to craft a deck. The Forge UI will look like this

- the design keeps in mind mobile players. Big buttons under the cards to adjust card count and the actionable circle zone in the middle of the cards is for preventing accidental clicking when you are scrolling. (in the picture I put it on basic card which can't be altered, but you get the idea)

-first you chose a zone you want to build the deck in (like Burning life or Foretold Ruin) which will give you access to zone specific cards, equipment and special seasonal effects you already unlocked in the database.

- The deck building follow the same rules for Faint Memory as usual. You can have up to add up to 3 extra copies of cards, in total, of your choosing, plus up to two Common cards (you can also use the extra copies to get more copies of common cards). 

- Forge only allows one variation of each card. With the exception of common cards. You can chose the same common card in both common card slots and give them different epiphanies.

- you can remove up to 5 cards (by setting the counter under them to 0)

-if you want to add epiphany to a card, you hold on the circle zone (shown in the picture) of the card for like half a second to access epiphany window. All possible epiphanies will be listed there. Both unique epiphanies and common epiphanies. First will be the ones you have unlocked in your Forge database, the rest will be displayed as greyed out. It will look like this

- if you want Divine epiphany, you simply click on the "add divine epiphany" button and it will open same window with all possible divine epiphanies available for that specific card chosen base epiphany. First will be the ones you have unlocked, rest will be displayed as greyed out.

- adding common cards. Since there is a lot of common cards, they follow different rule. First they are automatically filtered by class (like Controller or Hunter), then it shows you 4 categories to chose from (Attack, Skill, Upgrade and Monster card) after you chose one, the list of available cards for your character will show in alphabetical order. As usual, cards unlocked in your Forge database will be shown first, the ones you didn't get will be shown greyed out at the end (also in alphabetical order). Choosing epiphany for common cards follow the same concept as for character cards.

-adding equipment follows same rules as cards. After you chose a designed equipment slot, you chose between rare and unique option, then all the unlocked equipment choices will be shown in alphabetical order, the rest will be greyed out. 

- "zone specific" allows you to chose from zone mechanic like imbue, enchant, zone card etc. I don't have universal solution for this, each zone will have to have its own zone specific design

- Ego Manifestation allows you to disable specific manifestation of the character, but only while using this deck (which is more convenient that just turning it off and on all the time). There are some manifestations you don't want in each deck. Like Serenei's Awakening Memory, or Selena's Sleeping Memory etc (or in case there is a bug with one again, you can just turn it off temporary)
- "import deck" and "copy deck code" are standard functions that allow easy build sharing in the community. I suggest the format of character name _ 150/180 _code for example Serenei_150_xyz (I'll explain 150/180 later)

- reset button will well... reset the forge and let you start over

- Faint Memory value will be adjusting as you make changes to the deck. It will make it easy to keep the deck within restriction limits while forging the deck. You can change its color to make it visually aparent if you exceed allowed limit.

- Forge deck will finalize the process and save the deck in the characters deck library (if you have space for an extra deck, if not a message will show up asking you to delete one)

2c) HOW TO KEEP CHAOS RELEVANT

Forge is an awesome time saving tool in players disposal. Not only it greatly reduces luck factor, it give you chance for "proof of concept" when you just want to change epiphany on your 3 times replicated card and see if it works better against bosses and don't have to farm the exact same deck again.

Its not supposed to replace chaos runs or make them obsolete and here's how to do it

- forge allows you to make only 150 Faint Memory worth of deck. If you change all seasonal mechanics to cost 10 points, it will make more sense, since all other changes are now even cost after the last patch to Faint Memory mechanics.

- chance for monetization, if you want to craft 180 Faint Memory deck, you need to purchase permit (one time use, non refundable). In which case unlike regular 150 free version, the Forge will do a check upon finalization. Checking if you picked equipment, zone specific mechanic and if final Faint Memory is above 150. If you missed something, it will show alert notification, showing you which aspect you didn't include and ask you if you are sure to proceed.

- in time players will fill their Forge database. In new leagues they can then focus on getting epiphanies for the newly released cards and/or characters which is what you want. Making players focus on trying out new things. 

- to get access to Forge for the new league decks, character has to finish tier 16 zone 10 times (make a counter on the extraction window). Or possibly introduce new token and after finishing tier 16 zone, you get 3 token, then you exchange them in forge to unlock access to forge seasonal decks for a character of your choosing. Or you can get 1 token for tier 1-9 zones, 2 tokens for 10-15 zone and 3 tokens for tier 16 zone.

this way Chaos will stay relevant, but the focus of the game can be on different endgame content (you talked about roguelike zones with no save data). And if you want 180 deck, you still can farm it as usual, or pay for the permit (if you have the cards in your Forge database already)

3) CHANGE HOW DIVINE EPIPHANY WORKS

Instead of getting to chose from two random epiphanies and one random divine epiphany on a random epiphany base, make it a two step process. First player will chose base epiphany. In case a divine epiphany will proc, the game will open a second window offering three choices of different divine epiphanies on the same epiphany base player chose in step 1. Player can then chose to accept one of the three divine epiphanies or decline the divine epiphany and keep the base epiphany instead.

!!!!!!!   this is a major QoL and even if you decided not to go for the Forge, I hope you do at least this. Its so simple, but very impactful, and it can't take you more than couple hours to make this change in game. !!!!!!!!

4) PARTNERS

To make partner more reliable and impactful I suggest introducing Ego Overcharge (EO). Ego Overcharge is an effect that only takes place during Great Rift, and other seasonal boss fights. During EO, your Partners exceed their normal limits and you'll have infinite Ego points for the fight. Each turn you can use one Ego skill of your choosing and all Ego skills will be available at all times. It will look like this

you can still use each Ego skill only once per battle, but this way Partner skills will become part of your build strategy rather than being rarely useful occurrence. Now that the free 4* tier 5 Partners are roughly equal in power and skills they provide to tier 1 5* Partners, this pushes the balance slightly in favor of 5* Partners due to their Ego skills being specifically designed for their combatant and players will be more likely to roll for the Partners.

5) MISCELLANEOUS

I have couple other suggestions unrelated to gameplay

- make a "Disable camera shake" option. This is a standard, I am surprised you don't offer it yet

- make a "Reduce flashing intensity" option. Playing this game at night is like being on a disco show, you really need to give option to tune it down.

- while you made the "mute on background option, even if you have the whole game muted, the game won't load your settings up until the intro character says "Chaosu zero naghto-maro". A little oversight.

- if you want, you could use the window from Forge to inspect characters of other players (like you offer in the Great Rift) in which case if you added Memory Fragments, it would show a complete build rather than just the deck. Or just offer to copy the characters Deck Code which you could review in your forge

I believe these suggestions will make it easier for you to switch endgame focus to roguelike experience without having to completely change how the game works. The Forge will allow players to focus on whatever aspect of the game they find enjoyable. It also requires A LOT of farming from both seasoned players and new players alike. You don't get your desired epiphany before first boss? Just focus on unlocking cards you don't have in Forge database yet for the rest of the run. How convenient.
