Speeding up the bird
단서를 찾고 조사하는 과정에서 적을 피하는 미니 게임과 같은 어드밴처성이 짙은 추리 게임.
좋았던 점은 추리 게임임에도 유저가 직접 플레이할 수 있는 요소가 다양하다는 점이다. 기존 추리 게임들은 포인트 앤 클릭 방식이나 단순 텍스트 선택 등으로 단서 수집이 이루어졌다면 이 게임은 NPC들의 눈을 피해 잠입하고 맵 상에 존재하는 아이템들을 이용하여 열쇠를 얻고 잠긴 문을 열거나 단서를 얻는다. 그 과정에서 수상한 물건을 돋보기로 이리저리 살피며 숨겨진 단서를 얻거나 찢어진 노트 조각을 맞춰 비밀 번호를 얻는 등의 미니 게임과 같은 플레이가 이루어지기도 하는 등 복합적인 재미를 느낄 수 있었다. 그리고 최종적으로는 질문에 맞춰 알맞은 단서를 제시해 사건의 진실을 밝히는 추리 형식도 좋았다. 그외 중간중간 컷신 연출 등도 좋았고 전체적인 맵 디자인과 UI 디자인 등이 게임의 시대상이나 컨셉과 잘 어울려서 좋았다.
아쉬운 점은 뭔가 전체적으로 게임 해상도가 낮은 느낌이다. 그냥 일반 화면은 괜찮은데 돋보기로 특정 아이템을 확대하거나 아니면 노트 맞추는 미니 게임이라던가 등장인물 일러스트 등등 뭔가 엣날 쯔꾸르 게임에서 볼 것만 같은 낮은 화질의 것이라 이 부분이 좀 아쉬웠다. 그리고 게임의 초반 단계라 그런지 모르겠는데 행동 하나하고 컷신, 행동 하나하고 컷신이 반복되는 게임 진행으로 인해 개인적으로는 조금 집중하기 어려웠다. 그 외 게임 내에서는 이동 방식이 마우스로만 설명되어 있는데, 키보드나 게임 패드 조작법도 안내해줬으면 한다.
직접 캐릭터를 움직이며 단서를 찾는 과정이나 방법이 재밌고, 마지막 추리 단계도 모은 단서를 통해 하나하나 실마리를 풀어가는 과정도 좋았다. 그리고 달성기록 칸에 있는 32개의 도전과제와 여러 미해금된 엔딩들을 보면 앞으로의 스토리나 게임의 볼륨이 어떻게 될 지 기대된다.
